Divine Mart got my computer working, Now they are trying to bill me for a renewal fee of$6300,I did not understand the "tech" when i called them to fix my computer. The manager threatened me with yearly renewal fees. I am a disabled veteran with PTSD. And anxiety.Please do not allow this company to call me. My mother, 78 years old, has been getting phone calls that she owes $9,800 for her computer to continue to be covered by this company. They will do an ACH transaction for this amount and each year for the life of the computer. I listened to two of the messages she has received. This is scaring my mom and she is logging onto her banking account several times a day to make sure no transactions are going through. Now she just lives in fear.Initial Complaint

Devine mart charged ****** to unlock my computer. Now they want ******* to cancel a subscription that I did not know I had. I have never been invoiced. They call daily threatening to take it directly from my bank. I feel like they locked up my computer and now they hold you hostage by adding fees. They speak broken English and harass you even at work. They use several numbers so you do not know who is calling.Initial Complaint

I am a 87 year old woman residing in an independent living facility since my husband passed away. While using the computer, it froze and a message appeared to call a certain number. I was told it was hacked and that his name was ***** and that he would see that the problem would be taken care of. He said there were ***** hits on my computer and that he was not a scammer and he certainly did not cause it. He told me to send $299 by check to Devine Mart in ******* and that the problem would be solved within 30to 50 minutes. He stated that I would receive a call when all was corrected. I did. He now stated I would receive another call tomorrow between 1 and 4PM. I am convinced that this was a complete scam and this company should not be in business.Initial Complaint

Like many on this string, my computer was hacked in February and only one phone number provided to unlock it claiming they were contracted by apple. I was told the service was 399 and I stupidly paid it. Yesterday I received a call telling me that my lifetime service contract was renewing at **** and if I wanted to get out of it I had to pay **** immediately through my bill pay or by mailing a check which I stupidly did and then put a stop on it. I got a call from someone purpurting to be a manager and it was his direct line that he only answered and wouldn't go to voicemail when he didn't. I argued with him that I wanted a customer service line to prove that they were a real company and after five calls to him during which he yelled at me finally came me a number that wasn't an 800 number and wasn't always answered and had no message mail or company recording associated with it. I stupidly allowed him to access my computer to remove the security software they allegedly installed in February and am now freaked out that they are a scam as others have reported and am in the process of changing my passwords and shutting down all my financial accounts.Initial Complaint

In Dec 22 my computer froze with a pop up and number to call for help it was for quickhelp I purchased 3 year plan for **** sent to Ultimateshop in *******, ** then in march 23 got message I owed huge amount for liftine plan I called talked with ************************* paid **** to cancel to Fortune kart llc in *******, ** then in April got message I owed more for network security I was not told about these other charges or agreed to them I called talked to ******************* these people do not tell you the company they work for to get them to stop bothering me I paid **** to Devine Mart in *************, ** to cancel security ****** said I would never hear from them again which is in print they always need remote access to the computer what information are they taking then in June 23 started getting messages to call to cancel or pay large sum for lifetime and my checking would be charged the amount is always different from ***** to ***** I already paid to cancel I feel I was scammed I made a mistake whish these people would stop calling the calls are almost every other day I feel I am being harassed I am old and on limited income can this be resolved I feel they are fraudulentInitial Complaint

Company fraudulantly generated a popup message on my wife's computer browser indicating I had a virus and provided a phone number to call. My wife called this number and they remotely accessed her computer and "fixed" the problem. Now they are charging me $250 for the "work", but they want me to send a check express mail. I contacted ********* and they indicated they do not provide phone numbers with their antivirus detects a message, and that this likely was a scam. I reported the company information to *********, but I now want to know if I should pay them (I do not intend to because I don't know if they did any work or if they actually installed a virus). I have not signed a contract, although they wanted me to sign up for a 3-year support.Initial Complaint

I have power of attorney for ***********************, my father. He is not in his right mind, and hasn't been for several months. I found this on his bank statement. It is so far over his budget that he couldn't have done this in his rational mind. This is so obviously a bogus charge. It even ******** his account. This needs to be refunded, or I will prosecute. Shame on you for targeting vulnerable people. May you get your just rewards. Devine Mart/ quickhelp **** coerced my parents into calling their number to resolve a ********** Windows" problem via popups. They convinced them to grant ****** to the computer and installed a number of programs that will no doubt cause issues down the road. They have demanded that my parents pay $399 USD to fix the current problem. The vultures prey on unaware people and should be shut down.Initial Complaint

About three weeks ago I got an alert while using my computer. Loud clanging, blinking layered information boxes and warning do not shut your computer down. Call ********* with this problem. I was very leery and this because a suspected that it was a scam. However, I was distressed by the loud noises which I could not stop. So I called the number. Of course, they were going to take care of this for me for $200 that would give me a year of technical support.. The Merchant Name was Devine Mart but they were using a service through Quick Help 24*7, Long story short I shut my computer down and checked with the BBB. There had been other complaints about this company. I then was concerned with what ever they might have put on my computer etc. so I took my computer to be cleaned up and anything removed that did not belong. It cost me $139 to do that. I have had no further problem with my computer making me even more convinced that the alert was induced to get money from me to take it off.
