      In February 2022, I went Coast Dental in ************** for the first time. I initially went for a comprehensive exam. I was presented with a list of dental work that needed to be done. After maxing out my benefits, I borrowed the rest of the money from ******, as offered by Dr. ********* office. Hence paying for all of the work to be done. I was unable to get all of the work completed at one time. So I spread out my visits, which should not have mattered since they had been fully paid for. On December 19, 2022, I went to get the final work done, which was a crown. ******* presented me with the iPad for payment before services were rendered. I reminded her I had paid back in late spring. She insisted I didnt. In an effort to save time I agreed to pay, using ****** again, with the notion that I would simply return with my paperwork at a later date and the extra charge would be reversed as it was clear that I had paid. When I returned, the business manager ***** said she needed to review my entire profile. Two hours later, she had concluded nothing other than she was confused. She said I had a credit and yet couldnt determine a refund. *******, presented her with another document and confirmed I had indeed paid twice. I was told that the regional manager would have to resolve this. ******************** promised he would make sure they called me. I have been told three different times ***************************** would call. Nearly a month later, I have never received a call. Not only did I pay twice for one service, they submitted a claim to my dental insurance on January 10, 2023 even though the service and payment was made December 19, 2022. So they essentially received full payment by me twice AND tapped into my current benefits for this year. This is a very dishonest practice!

      I have been waiting on a refund for my two children who only started Ortho services but did not continue since the ***** pandemic started. The services initially were rendered in **************, **. The total refund that I have been approved for is approximately $7,000 for the two childrens accounts together and it had been pending for a while now and no explanation except from the Manager ***** in the **************, **. She has been a great help, corporate is the department that I feel is with holding my refund. Please assist me with this matter before I proceed with my lawyer. Thanks ***************

      I have been trying for months to get a refund for being overcharged on two separate visits to Coast Dental. I have personally went to the ********************************************* location on 4 separate occasions to followup on this and the finance person ******************************* has said the refund (#******) has been processed but not sent out and cannot get in contact with corporate to figure out why.

      On January 10th I visited Coastal Dental and University Plaza. I was only there to do a follow-up to my exam. However after the follow-up I was sitting there waiting on them to come back with a plan to fix my mouth when I looked up and saw the tools that they had just used on me they all were arrested and very dirty some of the tools even have black stuff on them on the parts that should be touching the patient's mouth I went to the manager took these tools he told me that they had just came out of the sanitizer machine and they were clean. I asked him how could they be clean with black stuff on them his reply was some of that stuff is hard to come off but yet you just use these same Tools in my mouth this is a very serious problem very unprofessional I am currently been seen for multiple digestive issues have been on disability for 4 years because of my issues and these people chose to put dirt and filth inside my mouth my phone number is ************

      I had a bridge made.Coast dental charged my debit card a total of $895.00 ($649 and $246 respectively).Bridge did not fit well, and I returned the bridge in April, 2022.Coast dental has not refunded my money, will not answer my letter or phone calls.

      I contacted Coast Dental to have my tooth implants replaced. I went for my 1st appointment and I was told I need a bone transplant before getting new implants. The bone transplant was done and I had to wait 2 to 3 months to start the process for the measurements and to order the implants. Meanwhile I needed a temporary solution to be able to work. I work in the sales business and need to interact with customers all day and not having the implants make me feel uncomfortable. They suggest to get a temporary bridge and I did accept and have it done When the bridge arrived they were big and shifting side by side when I talk. I explain this to the dentist and he said it was normal and that I had to get used to it. I paid $550 for something that was done incorrectly. I told the dentist it was unacceptable and that I was not going to keep them and I left the bridge at the dentist office and i told them I wanted my money back. I had to put a claim with my credit card to get a refund. After a couple of weeks I was schedule to get measurements for my implants. When the implants arrived they fit but the implants had a big gap in between them and it looked terrible. I told the doctor this is not what I want or what I pay for. The insurance didn't cover this process so everything was out of pocket. They told they will fix it. I come back for the replacement and it fit but when I notice it was a bridge and not my individual implants like it suppose to be done. I mention it to the dentist and all they said that is the best they can do for me and suggested to go to a specialist after I pay them over $7,000 for this implants. I requested to talk to a manager at that moment and I was told she was not available and they gave me a number. I have called that number and leave messages and nobody have reached to me to follow up. This situation is very depressing and it has affected my self esteem due to my type of job I haven't been able to perform my duties because I feel embarrassed of my teeth. I request a full refund to get this issue resolved with a different doctor. My treatment started in April 2022 and I have proofs of all the payment they collected from my credit card.

      Coast Dental not only ruined my teeth and didnt take responsibility for it, but also billed my insurance company and charged my credit card for things my insurance would paid and actually paid! I have contacted this practice many times, even through my insurance company and they never respond or call back to explain what they have done! To this day I regret so much going there! There are so unprofessional and dont care about patients dental health at all! They just care about money! I honestly dont know how this practice is still in business. Shame on them!

      I am rejecting this response because: Zero starts! That’s what they deserve!!! Horrible experience there! I’ve should followed my instincts and stay away but I didn’t! ( MY BIGGEST MISTAKE!!) First of all, I was not informed of how the procedure was done and to this day I don’t believe/know if I needed it or not! They don’t show you your x-rays! The toll it’s taking on my dental and mental health is priceless! They did three crowns (front teeth), which don’t only don’t have a good seal and look very fake because they don’t fit as they should, but also are giving me a lot of trouble with sensitivity and pain since day one! They weren’t even placed correctly! They did a ‘WHATEVER JOB’ on my teeth honestly speaking! I went back to address these problems and they just kept make up excuses and suggesting more invasive procedures because they didn’t want to fix what they messed up and of course, they wanted more money! That’s what they are good at! They charged me over $4000 for this and some other procedures and charged my insurance as well. To this day, I haven’t received a call back (I also contacted them so many times about this issue) to explain all these billing inconsistencies! Now, I ended up with ruined front teeth and will have to look for and pay someone else that really knows what she/he is doing to hopefully fix this mess! They just care about money, they don’t care at all about patients’ well being! They treat patients like a set of teeth to make money. We only get one set of permanent teeth and it’s not fair that they mess our teeth up to get a paycheck! To this day I regret so much going there! They are not honest and more importantly they are not professional and have no empathy for patients! This practice shouldn’t be on business! They’re a scam!

      Hi, I am writing to request that you assist me with obtaining the balance of $400.00 dollars owed to me by Coast Dental in ***********, *******. I am on a fixed income. I was told that I needed a deep cleaning by the Dental Hygienist at Coast Dental. The estimate quoted to me was $470.00 for one quadrant, and $397.00 for the other quadrant. I begin making payments in order to afford the treatment, and made two payments of $200.00 dollars. In the meanwhile I learned from my insurance company I was being charged too much. I immediately stopped making payments and requested a refund. Currently, I still have a credit balance on my account with Coast Dental office of $400 dollars. I have tried calling the office for three months or more, but no answer. All I ever get is an answering service that ask to leave a message, and a promise to return the call, that never happens. I left numerous voice messages, but no one EVER returned my calls. I sent numerous text messages, and no one EVER responded to my text. In an attempt to resolve this issue, I physically went to the Coast Dental Office on December 1, 2022 to inquire about my refund, and was told they were going to process the refund, and that I need to contact the corporate office from this point on to follow up. I waited and waited. I called the corporate office on December 21, 2022, and December 28, 2022. All I was told was the refund was processed. Recently I called Coast Dental **************** on January 4, 2023 and was told to call the Coast Dental Office to inquire. I continue to be told that the check is being processed, but nothing more. On January 4, 2023, I also called the Coast Dental Office and spoke to the Office Manager, *****, and once again was told the check is being processed and to contact the ****************. At this point the two offices are pointed the finger at each other in terms of who and when the check will be sent to me. All I want is for them to please refund my balance of $400.00 as soon as possible. I will not be doing business with Coast Dental ever again. Other attempts that I have made to resolve this is that I sent Coast Dental Office a certified letter October 4, 2022. I also contacted my insurance company MetLife just to let them know what I was dealing with. Because there was no dental work done on me they could not assist me. So they informed me that I would need to handle this myself. So, because nothing is moving in terms of me receiving my money and no one wanting to give me any definite information about the issuance of the check, I felt the need to now get you involved to assist me with resolving this and actually getting my money. During my physical visit to the office to request my refund, I was told it would take 60 days. We are now over 60 days. To date, nothing has become of this promise they continue to present. How long does it take to process and cut a check? I was recently contacted by ************** that the check was processed and waiting for it to be issued. Now we are back to it being processed. In my opinion, this is just another ploy to prolong doing the right thing.

      I am rejecting this response because:  This has been going on for an entire year, and now I'm being told it will take 12 to14 weeks to process and issue my refund. Coast Dental has had an entire year to refund my money. In addition, on December 1, 2022, I was told it would take 60 days to process the refund. I have been told so many different contradicting stories about the processing of my $400.00. This is all a ploy to keep my money. You can't tell me it takes an entire year to refund my money. At this point, I will not accept ANY response from them other than to see my money in my hands. Every time they address this issue the process keeps changing. This is ridiculous, and I do not accept their response. We have current exhausted 60 days, 12 to 14 weeks and an entire year. So, there is no way I will accept ANY other response.

      I have had issues with 2 locations for coast dental, all 3 issues were due to scheduling with the last I was told my appt was canceled by the **rporate office because my denture case wasn't delivered due to the xmas holiday (how would **rporate know this and cancel my appt and not **ntact me I don't know).I have made several attempts to get a response from this **rporate office to no avail. I paid fully for the work to be done and have received nothing but a runaround, I was told by their customer relations department I would get a call back from someone @ **rporate but that hasn't happened. I have not received any response about a reschedule and now don't care to have one. I would like to have my my returned to both my insurance **mpany and my ** pay. Looking at all the **mplaints this seems to be a pattern that the public needs to hear about.

      I got a loan of about $2300 through Coast Dental and ****** on 10/17/22 for clear aligners. They could not go forward with it, so they said they would refund ****** the money. I have called ******, and they are waiting for the corporate office to finish the paperwork and send it back. It has been over two months as of writing this, and I can't get in touch with anyone at their main office. Every time I call, their mailbox is full, and I am unable to even leave a message. The other departments refuse to connect me to their grievances department. It is starting to affect my credit and I would like to fix this soon since I am still being charged monthly. I sent an email and have yet to receive a response. I want them to cancel the loan and it's a shame I have to resort to this to attempt to fix it. Horrible company.

      Please accept this as Coast's response to ******************** complaint. We are sorry for the delay with completing the loan cancelation. The office informed they did see you at their office to discuss this cancelation and the loan has now been canceled. If any payments were made you will need to contact the loan processer. Thank you.
