  Horrible. They are money hungry. I went in to have my teeth cleaned and they never did that because they stated that my teeth are in terrible condition. They then wanted me to have a special procedure on my teeth. I have never had any dentist from where I used to live tell me so many money making lies. I won't be going back to Coast Dental in Deland.

  The worst service I ever received. My dentures were made too big I complained to Dr I who tried to charge me another $150 to make repairs on dentures she made wrong. I complained and was asked to leave the property because I had contacted corporate. I finally received a call from a manager who sent me to another office to have the dentist see if the dentures could be fixed. I was told no and to return the dentures to the Marietta office. I hand delivered the dentures in a envelope addressed to Coast Dental attention Dr I now they have turn a bill of $1600 to a collection agency. I do not owe you for damaged dentures what am I supposed to do.

  This is a horrible place that preys on college students. My son goes to FSU and had an appointment in May for a routine dental cleaning. He did not get a dental cleaning- instead he gets a "proposed treatment plan" for almost $900 and a $50 co-pay office visit bill! I've called and left 8 messages including 4 "escalated" calls to their corporate office and still- NO RETURNED PHONE CALLS!!!

  Please save yourself the hassle and find another dental office. This office is a JOKE!!!! My family and I would have been new patients if things did not go as they had this morning. I went in and asked a few questions before filling out our paperwork to get started. They straight up told me that no matter what we wanted done, they basically were going to do whatever they thought we needed (ie: costs the most) and would totally ignore our requests as the patient. If I wanted just a basic teeth cleaning, but they felt I needed a deep cleaning, they'd force me to do a deep cleaning even if I couldn't afford it or even if insurance wouldn't pay for it bc that's what they felt I needed. We would have no say in our care. We would just have to go along with it and do whatever they told us to do. No thank you!!!!

  Coast Dental is deceptive and preys on the vulnerable and uninformed. I went for a new patient cleaning which should have cost $23 and they tried to up sell me to a procedure costing over $450. I was there for over 2 hours and never got my cleaning and the exam by a doctor was thru Zoom. I absorbed an inordinate amount of radiation thru a 360 degree Panorex and over 20 individual xrays. I walked out and would advice any one else to stay away from this office,

  TOTAL SCAMMERS!!! Stay away! They charged me almost $1200 for work I did not need!! Too many details to list! They shuffle papers for you to sign and initial while sitting in the chair getting work done and THEY filled in the blanks afterwards!! I will never step foot in this place again and my next step is getting an attorney involved to get my money back!

  I have been going to this place for a long time. They keep charging me for services I do not need. They told me I have periodontal disease. I don't have any symptoms. They are ripping people off. Please close them down.

  I agree with all 1 star. The have a very poor management and customer support. The never pick up the phone, the answering system says to leave a message, if you do, they never return the call. I do not recommend this place.

  Coast Dental is the most disorganized dental office I have ever been to. First appointment was at their ****** Beach location. Very long appointment with new patient paperwork, x-rays, cleaning, etc. only to end up not even seeing ******************************* with whom I had the appointment. I was placed in a room where another dentist did a virtual visit with me over a large monitor.Second appointment made with same office for 6 months later for cleaning and check-up. Office notified me that that office was closed and had to move it to their ************** location much further away on Gladiolus. Even though they changed the location and notified me of the change, the ****** office sent messages stating that I missed the appointment. The **************** insisted that I complete ALL NEW PATIENT documents even though this was done in ******! Although they said they had access to all my medical records, they still wanted these done. After completing, they insisted I needed all new x-rays and a 90 minute appointment. I said as the patient, I have the right to refuse x-rays since they were done 6 months prior and the insurance would not cover it. The reception desk advised that they would not see me if they were not done again. I walked out and advise anyone else considering this practice to NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! They are disorganized and only interested in charging for unnecessary services. I tried to reach ********************** and the receptionist put me on hold for 15 minutes upon which I hung up. The WORST!!!!

  I do not recommend this company to anyone. They are deceptive, uncooperative, and unreachable. On January 4th of 2023 I went to the office of Coast dental in ******, **. I had an office visit which entailed X-rays. They knowingly stacked and charged me for 2 different X-rays ( COMPREHENSIVE SERIES OF RADIOGRAPHIC IMAGES and PANORAMIC RADIOGRAPHIC IMAGE) when both werent needed or necessary. They ran my insurance and knew bite X-rays were covered and panoramic wasnt. Yet proceeded without my knowledge or permission of out of pocket charges. My ******** was billed $633 of which they paid all but $273 that was not covered. I was told I could I set up a payment plan with the office. Begrudgingly, I agreed and paid $136 in office that day. Unbeknownst to me, they signed me up for care credit without my permission, as I thought my agreement was with the office. They also charged me $544 of charges on top of the $633 they charged my insurance and was paid for. I had one office visit. Nothing was done except X-rays. Yet between my insurance and the deceptive payment plan I was charged a total of $1,177. Ive tried getting ahold of the office for resolution but Im getting nowhere. I even called and spoke with someone in the customer relations department and Im awaiting to hear back from . Im requesting an itemized billing for my whole account because Im suspecting charge stacking and overcharging for services
