They committed insurance fraud in **********I was charged for x-rays and a cleaning, but told I had to come back a couple of months later because their hygienist could not fit me in that day for the cleaning part.I went back two months later just to get the cleaning they already charged my insurance for at the first visit, and they also re-charged the whole visit when I went back just for the cleaning. They cannot charge insurance for services not rendered but this satellite did. They charged for a cleaning that they did not do, and then changed again when they did the "make up" appointment. This is not legal.I have also been in dental care my whole life and not once told that I needed to get a deep cleaning. They are constantly trying to uncharge. But again, my biggest issue is their mismanagement (not being able to see all the patients they schedule) and the committing of INSURANCE FRAUD.

I receive an email to use my Dental Benefits or lose it from coast Dental, I book my appointment for 8 am on 10/29/2024 , I was there at 7:59 am doing my check in . My insurance cover cleaning and x ray at no cost to me. They ask to sit on the services chair at 8:20 am. I advise to the employee I have to get to work at 9 am, her answer was ok. They told me that the panorama x-ray is going to be $23.00, my answer is ok don't do the panorama x ray and continue with the cleaning.. Another employee did came into the area and explain that the offer is for a free toothbrush (completely insulting). I wasn't asking for free stuff, I pay my insurance and the insurance offer Benefits that I already pay for, then she told me that is going to take like 1hour 30 minutes.I end up going home. My experience at the office was horrible, looks like they get you in the office to start charging for the benefits that are supposed to be cover by the insurance and the patience time is not take into consideration. My recommendation don't go there and if you go review your insurance benefits.

I went to the *********** location in *******. I went in to have a tooth extracted. I went ahead and paid as I was waiting for my blood pressure to go down. They charged me $300 out of MY pocket for some bone replacement stuff above what ******** was paying for the extraction. They said it was a mandatory charge. Eventually, I was told they would not do the extraction and I needed to go somewhere else. I have a condition called "White Coat Syndrome" and the dentist laughed at me. I asked for a refund of the money I paid them above and beyond what my insurance was paying. I have received a part of the refund for the amount I financed through the dental finance program after 4 months but I'm still waiting for the $76 the office took directly from me. I have been waiting since May 2024 and today is 10/24/2024. This company is VERY shady. Took 5 mins to take my money but it's taking corporate 5 MONTHS to give it back and they have no explanation better to give me than they have no control over how long it takes and no way to make it move faster? I will be contacting my attorney.

      ***** ******* * **** ******* **
My husband went in for a cleaning and X-rays covered by our insurance. She said he needed a deep cleaning which he said he didn’t need as he has been going to a dentist every six months they still went ahead with it. Charged him $74 for first appt. Went back the next week to finish cleaning and they filled two fillings. Charged him another$304 out of pocket. I contacted the insurance company and they also paid them $820 which they paid. I called to get refund as the ins said to and they state these payments were do cause not covered. My husband signed some form scam, scam, scam. Should be shut down!

I went to the location in ******************, ***Horrible customer service. I went in for a cleaning. I received a preventative cleaning nothing more. I also purchased a teeth whitening kit., that was $ 62. They also charged me $23 for X-rays. Why was my out of pocket cost almost $300? I have dental insurance. My dental insurance paid out $158. They also charged my card after I left the office. Stating it was an additional fee. This company should be investigated!!! They are over charging people with insurance. What are they doing with the money? They give the run around when it comes to giving out refunds that are rightfully owed!!! Their equipment is outdated!!! So, I know the money they are over charging is not for construction. They should be shut down immediately!!! It's been over three months and each time I call they act they don't know what's going on. Then they are always mentioning that my insurance only covers 70%. All the years I have went to the dentist and did not have insurance. I never paid over $70 for a cleaning. Shut them down!!!

I went in for a regular check-up and cleaning, and they told me I needed a deeper clean for my gums on 5/20/24. They made me schedule it over two appointments so they could get my insurance to cover it. At the appointment on 5/20, I paid $76.80. At the s2nd appointment, I paid $52. In June, they sent me a bill for $19 for the service performed on 5/24/24, which made sense because it was the same service on both dates.
It didn’t seem right that they charged me less the second time, so I assumed they billed me incorrectly in the office. I was happy to pay the remaining amount. However, after the insurance company rejected the claim for the service on 5/24, saying “A dental advisor has reviewed this service and has determined that the diagnostic information submitted shows that the incorrect code may have been reported. There is not bone loss on submitted x-rays resulting in measurement of 2mm or greater from CEJ to adjacent alveolar bone on mesial and/or distal and 4+ mm pocket depths associated with periodontal disease, which would necessitate instrumentation of the crown and root surfaces of the teeth to remove plaque and calculus from these surfaces... A Network Dentist may not bill a patient for a service denied because it is considered integral to another service, reported in an inappropriate treatment sequence, or misreported.”
I received another bill saying I owed $91.60 for the service performed on 5/24/24. This didn’t make sense, but after trying to contact the office multiple times and being ignored or told, “someone will call me back,” I gave up and paid it on 8/31/24, hoping that would be the end of it.
To my dismay, they are billing me again for $91.60 for the same service on 5/24/24. Now no one will answer my calls, and I feel helpless. It seems unfair that they can continue to bill me for the same service. If I don’t pay, they will charge it as bad debt without even giving me an explanation as to why they think I owe them even more for this service.

Today I went in for a routine alignment of a partial that I paid out of pocket . The previous dentist moved to another site who did an excellent job on the partial before moving to another office. Again I paid out of pocket for the partial . The current dentist destroyed the partial by widening it without my permission and lied that he didnt do it. My request was to trim the hook which had broken off. The partial was a perfect fit! He denied adjusting the inside of the partial which his technician told me he did as I tried it on. He then proceeded to tell me I should find the previous ** to fix it because he didnt make it ! Now I have a partial that pops out of my mouth when I eat and bounces around when I talk! This is unacceptable! Waters ************** ****************************************************
