  Coast Dental ******* ***** location went downhill since Covid I lost count of the amount of doctors and hygienists that have restarted my process because they don't last at the job. I requested a refund since I paid my treatment in full and I have yet to receive an answer. Now I find myself having to continue my process somewhere else because of the unprofessional irresponsibility and inconsistency this clinic shows. They are dragging my treatment unnecessarily from 2 years that I was supposed to have my braces to now 6 years.

  Coast Dental is dishonest with HMO plans. They have cancelled appointments for over 6 months due to my insurance being an HMO plan. Either dont take HMO, or honor your appointments. Stop treating HMO appointments as second class citizens.

  I went for a routine cleaning and ended up walking out with a bill of over 1200 and that was after my dental insurance coverage. This was 3 times more expensive than the last dental visit I had with pretty much the same work. Oh, and they didnt even polish my teeth after they said I had to come back for that.

  This place literally charged me hundreds of dollars for work that was covered by my insurance. I'm going to file a claim against this dental office for insurance fraud as I was charged for "take home medication" and never received as much as an ibuprofen from this office!

  To whom it may concern: I went to the office of coast dental in Poinciana, Florida, to get asset of partials made on 1/31/24 which I have not been able to use them since they made a metal framework without explaining to me that it was going to have metal. I have tried a couple of times to use them but they make blisters. Also one of the teeth on the upper partial is twisted out. I ask Dr. H if they can make them without metal and she reply that it will cost $1000. which I consider it ridiculous amount of money for a mistake which was not mine. Right now I'm making monthly payments which they are taking out and it's very difficult for me since I live off my social security check.   I went to Coast Dental in 2022 for dental work. I was seen by Dr. Vidya S******** DDS. She decided to install a new bridge. When I went to have the bridge installed, Dr S******** had difficulty inserting the bridge. She forced the bridge into my mouth by using both thumbs to push it in place. Within 6 months, I began experiencing discomfort in my mouth. I went to another dentist to investigate if a root canal was required. This dentist examined my mouth and advised me that the tooth that the new bridge was attached to was fractured on both sides and had to be removed. I went back to Coast Dental to have the new bridge removed. I saw another dentist there and was told to get implants. Lastly I had to go to yet another dentist, an orthodontist, and have the tooth extracted. Due to the improper work done by Dr. Vidya Sadasivan, I have incurred additional dental work which was painful and very expensive. No longer am I able to wear a bridge and must now use a partial. I asked Coast Dental to reduce my bill because of the additional expense that I feel was due to the bad dental work done by Dr. Vidya S********, Coast Dental refused my request. I would not recommend Coast Dental to anyone.

  I would give this place 0 stars if I were able. (1) Rude receptionist.(2). Made appointments for cleaning only to find out that a consult and treatment plan must be developed first. Was not told this when appointments were initially made. When I found this out (after my husband had already been entrapped.). I went to the receptionist with my confusion/concern and was told she couldnt help it if the call center hadnt provided us with that information. I then cancelled my appointment and left as I was expecting to get teeth cleaning, not a consultation.

  They cancelled my emergency appointment two days prior because the doctor wasn’t going to be there. As soon as I sighed on the phone and the receptionist could tell I was upset by this news, her tone changed to annoyed herself. When I asked if she would be able to check availability at their other locations, she scoffed and said “no, but YOU can” in a snippy tone. I said “okay bye” because I didn’t want to escalate anything over crappy customer service that other reviews seem to say they are known for and was met with a now happy “bye!” from her. I’m glad the stars aligned and I wasn’t able to go here. I hope I never have to.

  From the beginning they did "messy" work. Too much torment and negative to put in words here. I am 71 and still cannot wear my dentures. I don't feel they listen to the patient. So much pain and now my dentures are sitting on a shelf. I had them relined last week and the lady made a mess of it and got the lining material on the teeth themselves also. Then the lining peeled off the first time I took them out of my mouth the next day. I complained to my insurance company. I am so hurt and so disappointed.

  This place is a complete scam. I used to do Anesthesia/surgery assistant for a Periodontist. I had already called my insurance, so I KNEW what was covered and my cost before going. They come out with a treatment plan costing several, several thousand dollars yet I did not have a single cavity. Lied and said I had an infection and needed deep cleaning, which 1. I saw the xrays-no infection and 2. You NEVER do a scaling or deep cleaning on an infected person as it can lead to infection in the heart. I reported them to BBB for Medicare fraud. And am begging people not to go get scammed. They wouldn't even just clean my teeth which was all I wanted and needed in the first place. DON'T GO
