      What kind of **************** is this,, I have been on the phone with Wellcare never got to a repersentative totalling over 1 1/2 hours. This was a completely frustrating process. Finally, They mumbled endlessly from a script and I could barely understand. There is no reason that this simple request should have required so much time on hold. And after I was put on hold, they still didn't have the answer. I simply needed my card # emiale or given to me so I could get dental treatment for PAIN..Worst costumer service ever. You have been replaced and I will be contacting the Fair Trade Comission due to this issue.

      They took away one of the benefits in my plan without telling me! My Medicare Advantage Plan, the "HMO Giveback Plan" included an OTC benefit, where I could order about $90. per quarter in free Over The Counter healthcare items from CVS. Not a very big benefit, but I liked it. When checking on my plan for 2024, I noticed they will no longer be offering this benefit! I called their customer service number, which takes you to a call center in the Philippines where it takes them forever to look up any information, but they did verify that this benefit is no longer available in my area. I then went to one of the local Wellcare "Welcome Center" where they advertise that you can talk to an agent and get information about plans they offer and benefits. I actually liked the rest of my Wellcare plan so I wanted to discuss this issue with a real person at their local office- maybe they could offer some other plan or other benefits or explain why Wellcare is still a good deal for me without the OTC benefit. But I found out they actually do NOT have anyone to talk to at the local office: instead the receptionist handed me a business card of a sales agent and told me to call for information about Wellcare. So I immediately found the local office of another Healthcare plan, Freedom Health, which offered the same type of plan, with MORE benefits and a better OTC benefit than Wellcare. I dropped Wellcare and signed up with Freedom Health the same day! Just wanted to warn anyone else to be careful: Wellcare takes away benefits from your plan without telling you, and they have terrible customer service. There are many other Medicare Advantage plans offering better benefits than Wellcare.

      Problems with trying to collect on dental plan. Tried repeatedly to file claim, talked to many people, just kept getting the run around. I was told I would receive partial payment. I had an $1800.00 bill and I got $74.00. They found one excuse after another, very frustrating. I would not recommend this plan to anyone.

      don't dare to sign with wellcare health plan! ! ! !. They will transfer your call from one of their representatives to another without resolving your problem. They called me that my authorization for surgery was approved Nov. 8,2023, valid until Dec 8,2023. Called them again last week and was told my provider will receive the fax copy within 24-48 hrs. Never happened.Called again yesterday asking fax copy and also verified fax # they sent it to, then again i was told they re-fax it and was given fax confirmation #. unfortunately until today, no fax copy of my surgery authorization received. it looks like they're just making up reasons to believe them that they are making actions on your problem..

      I just can't understand why wellcare ohana can't fax to my provider or send me the letter approval of my surgery authorization # **SSN** which was approved last Nov 8, 2023 with validity date Nov 8- Dec 8,2023 After 4 follow-ups, on Nov 14, i was told that they will fax the authorization within 24-48 hrs and gave me reference # **SSN**. It did not happen ... I called again on Nov 20 and was told that fax was done and i was given fax reference # **SSN**, at the same time letter of authorization will be mailed to me. Unfortunately, to this date, Nov 30, letter for me nor fax to my provider, never received.... I clearly verified my address andd fax # on their file last Nov 20, and it was all correct. I'm also concerned about the authorization validity until Dec 8 only. even if i will rcvd the authorization next week, I can't meet the validity date 'cause i still need to get appointment with my primary doctor for pre-ops approval prior to surgery date. ...in this case i have to go back to square one, file again and appeal for not meeting the validity date. And when you call to expedite the appeal, they will say, they have 30 days to process the appeal i wiil not recommend to anyone the wellcare ohana as their medical health plan....

      OMG, I have been on the phone with 2 Welcare representatives totalling over 1 1/2 hours. This was a completely frustrating process. They were so poorly trained or incompetent or just plain thick. They mumbled endlessly from a script and I could barely understand. There is no reason that this simple request should have required so much time on hold. And after I was put on hold, they still didn't have the answer. And after all that, I still have to run out to fax them more information that they already should have on file. Pathetic. Worst costumer service ever.

      Upon leaving a review on this site, I was contacted by the Wellcare company. They have responded in a positive manner and are currently working on the communication issues that I had reported on. I will be more than happy to upgrade my rating of this company once these issues are fully addressed.

      They lied to me and didnt do anything to rectify the situation, leaving me with the bill and delaying my health care. I wont stay with a company I cant trust.

      One hour after receiving email confirmation- I tried to cancel the policy, that goes in effect 1/1/2024 They are refusing to cancel, stating I need to contact my other insurance company. There is no other plan., just ********* Been on ******** since ****, now received recorded phone message saying there will be penalty fees due to lapse on insurance in 2011. This is FRAUD. I have emailed them multiple times, an d can not get policy cancelled. Told them in the email will not honor the plan . It is my understanding in Florida there is a 3 day cooling off period to cancel, I did it in 1 hour. NEED IT CANCELLED

      Worst drug plan you can buy for your money. Look elsewhere. Save big with Good RX. I saved more money putting my drugs under good RX then you can amage. I been trying to Cancel plan since August 2023 every month the same story. Now it's enrollment time and still fighting me on this cancelation.

      Run! Do not sign with WellCare!This company is poorly managed, and falsely gives information. They defaulted on a gift card choice. After 4 months finally sent out CVS gift card. As their contract is with CVS. I would never have had a home healthcare visit, but they trick you, then default when not able to honor original offer.My experience with WellCare will have me changing to a reputable Insurance Company!!On many occasions WellCare representatives give different information, though some are helpful, some in theOTCH department are very rude.I wonder if some of the employees are even qualified for their job, with kids in the background.This is my first experience with an Advantage Plan Coverage and what a mistake going with Allwell by WellCare!Do not even consider this company..
