      Horrendous customer service. Agents are often inaccurate and get things wrong even when I repeated information carefully and repeated it back to them. They repeatedly told me that they could not confirm the details of my transactions and conversations in writing - even when I told them that they could send it to me on paper and not electronically.

      Stay away. Claim to provide dental and vision but don't. Pretty standard for medical, what medicare covers but they claim additional benefits which you have to submit to a 3rd party company. Then you get the denial of all procedures, either as invalid procedure code or Contract not effective on date of service.

      This company Wellcare health plan has to be stopped I continue getting repeat caller's from an outsourced company asking if I would like to add to my health plan I get call's from 7am-7-8pm at night called repeatedly all day long, I did contact Wellcare health plans and asked them to stop having me contacted I was told that they would place me on (do not contact) please if there's any way to stop these (repeat callers) company's please do so it would be greatly appreciated.       Yes, I'm sorry I have been busy with Dr **** and transportation my phone is not permitted to be on during Dr **** but I finally stopped getting all of these calls from Well med their we're calling to the breaking point but it has finally stopped in the past when I get these types of calls I have learned to make sure I get the name of the company that they are calling about so this is has stayed with me I want to thank everyone who has helped, this gets annoying after awhile to keep getting these types of calls but to actually have it stopped is fantastic thank you L *********

      Well Care was listed as the best alternative for my part D drug plan to go with mine and my husband's regular ******** coverage when the open enrollment period was open in November of 2022. We've been with them for a few years so I was pleased to not have to change. I just tried to fill my prescription for the first time in 2023, and they will not work with my pharmacy - the one that I specifically entered on the medicare.gov site as our preference and was shown as being in network. Now they are refusing to process my medications and my only choice to have it covered is to use CVS. I am livid! Once it is on the medicare.gov website, they should have to abide by that! I've been on the phone to try and figure out why this happened (spent most of the time on hold and being shuffled) and someone from grievance department is suppose to be calling me back, but have heard nothing. I will continue to support my hometown family pharmacy as I only have 3 drugs that are generic and cheap so will pay out of pocket even though I supposedly have insurance coverage. Had it not been on the website during open enrollment, I would have chosen another plan. Seems like switch and bait to me. I won't be using them next year even if they are the lowest yearly price. Very disgusted.

      Wellcare drug plan 2022 WILL NOT transfer any of my medications to the new plan with a different prescription plan in 2023. I know this is illegal! WellCare says my account is no longer accessible. Know they have to keep the records for 7 yrs.

      DONT DO IT!!! You’ve been warned. Worst Customer service reps that you cannot even understand due to their accents! They were no help for my mother in law who got terminated bc of missed payment due to change of address.(she has dementia and forgot to pay bc she wasn’t getting her statements in the mail) Her husband and son passed away and that was the reason for her moving. They wouldn’t consider reinstating her. The death of a loved one or address change were not “good enough” reasons to reinstate. Wowww!!! Thank goodness she’s no longer with them. find a better company that actually cares and shows compassion. WellCare… more like WEDONTCARE.. Do yourself a favor

      I cant stand wellcare. But I must have prescription drug coverage and they have a good plan. I have Parkinsons disease. My big issue with them is their worse than bad customer service. If Mr B. wants to have his company represented by the type of customer service people that he now allows to be hired then he is going to pay for these idiots in lost sales. Mr Budick I challenge you to be am under boss and go to the trenches and spy on your customer service staff. You will be surprised.

      Because of my job I have relocated several times and have had different ******** providers. WellCare is by far the worst. There were hardly any doctors in the network (in **************) when I needed services. I had to travel almost one hour to find a podiatrist who was in network and it was the shadiest doctor's ****** I've ever been to. There is absolutely NO customer service and you can't find a living person who knows what they're doing and can send you to the right person. Fortunately I am a healthy person and do not need much medical care but I can't imagine what they're like for someone who has a lot of health needs. Stay away because this ******** insurance because it is difficult to use, and shame on ********************* for doing their tv commercials.

      Hideous company. I tried to sign up when I retired and they said I had to wait until October. They didn't even understand what a qualifying event was. After three emails and multiple tries with customer service they finally figured it out. I then set up an account online. When I tried to log in 2 years later the system said my account was closed due to inactivity and to create a new account. I tried to do that and the system said my account was already in the system. Customer service reset my account and I could get it but it said my userid/password was invalid when I tried to change to paperless. I logged out and could not log back in - again an invalid userid/password. I can't wait to get rid of them in October.

      WellCare refuses to make an adjustment to my claim that they themselves process incorrectly. They auto assigned a PCP other than my real PCP on my member’s card. Because WellCare did so, instead of correcting the issue and paying a small amount of money for two vaccinations, they have chosen to push the payment obligation on me the member. Both vaccinations are included in my benefits with no copay. They conveniently using the wrong PCP they auto assigned as out of network, resulting in a copay that I’m not legally responsible for that will cost me 3 times more than what they would pay under Medicare Guidelines ,this is called consumer fraud. WellCare customer service and supervisors are not authorized to make adjustments, and will not escalate the issue to management. Obviously, management has instructed customer service personnel to not refer members/patients to management level, leaving the member with not recourse. No resolution is not acceptable! WellCare is not a reliable provider for Medicare Advantage plans.
