      If I could leave a negative one as a score I would I cannot believe I did not read all these reviews before I signed up with WellCare this year. Of course on Medicare you cannot change your prescription drug coverage after the first of the year I would gladly go back to my old company which was *****. I have had nothing but trouble with WellCare the worst customer service out of the country cannot understand anything they are saying. They switch you from person to person sometimes even disconnect your call and you have to turn somersaults to get back through. My doctor prescribed a topical cream for me and when I went to pick it up they told me my copay with insurance was $121. When I called WellCare they say I need prior authorization.. are you kidding me never ever experienced anything like this.... I even called ***** to compare and I would have paid $5 for that prescription no questions asked ..no prior auth. I cannot wait until this year is over to drop this terrible company!

      They seem totally dysfunctional. I cant set up my account. Im on my third round of someone will contact you in 10 business days. Every time I try to log in and set up an account I get a message saying my user name and pw dont match they seem to not have Any IT support at all. Wow, just read a bunch of complaints below, everyone is saying how non supportive and dysfunctional they are. How the h*** did they get such a high rating on the ******** site????Run Away!

      Wellcare.healtgnet is a scam!!! My husband had Medicare for years. We saw an ad on TV to check your coverage for your area. We signed up for Wellcare before 2024 and it has been a nightmare since. We received my husband's membership card and they changed his PCP, even after asking who his PCP was currently, at the sign up time. That was our first complaint of many. He has many providers currently including specialists. As of 2024, we have received phone calls from his providers saying the bill was not paid for service. We faxed our information and requested disenrollment from them effective immediately in January 2024. We just received notification that my husband is disenrolled from Wellcare. After hours on the phone with Wellcare, we are now in appeal stage with Wellcare. The system is still showing Wellcare as his insurance for his providers. We have had HORRIBLE SERVICE. Noone speaks legible English, hold times are forever and their explanations are reps talking in circles. Do not sign up with this company. They lie to you and are not knowledgeable as to how to resolve problems their client encounters. They say it is an addition to your current plan, when actually Wellcare changes your insurance and takes over!! We look forward to this nightmare ending!!

      Be warned: they are THE WORST! I'm retiring this year so, trying to save money, I switched from Silver Script over to this crappy company. Insurance companies are overall bad but this one takes the cake. They have screwed me in every way possible. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews until it was too late and now that Medicare open enrollment is over, I'm stuck with this horrible company. Lesson learned.

      BEWARE!! ?????? Well Care drug coverage started ripping me off one month after signing up for Medicare Part G Medigap plan with Rocky Mountain Medicare from Helena, Montana. I signed up for at an extra $179 / mth. Medigap Part G plan to insure all medical costs. I did not want more drug coverage but was forced to accept it. I have another much better drug plan, Good RX.. Well Care sent me a letter and added a lifetine monthly "PENALTY CHARGE" of $59, saying I did not have prior drug coverage, which I did thru military TriCare for life. So what if I did not have prior drug coverage!!! ???????? My agent never warned me of this. So I call Well Care customer service, two hour wait, multiple attempts, get non English speaker in Phillipines ????, ask for supervisor, broken English again, disconnected, go thru process all over, disgusting. Then I call again, and get transferred finally to United States person with more excuses of we will look into it. It has not been resolved. I am hung up now in the bureaucracy of military tri care getting proof of prior drug coverage, This penalty is a scam on Medicare Medigap Part G to us seniors by Well Care, at their mercy.WellCare told me it is Medicare that added the penalty. Penalize us old folks till we die for every penny. I am in touch with a Congressman to do a refund to millions of seniors. ???? and will not let up.

      Thank you BBB! Too bad that I had to elevate this issue to to BBB to get anything hopefully done. There are many thousands of seniors who signed up for Medigap and Wellcare drug coverage facing the same fraudulent monthly penalties. I have taken this issue to the office of US Senator Steve D. They were familiar and agreed it has to be changed and rectified. The seniirs across the country are entitled to massive refunds for the criminal penalties they were fraudulently charged.

      Most of my scripts are now tier 3 That's not what I was told when steered to sign up with this plan I've spent more this first month than I spent all year with BCBS I truly think the person signing me up was plaid and well trained to force me into this program, This is almost like no insurance coverage when it's a tier 3 Also I now find out express script is not a preferred company I spent $40 by purchasing my script thru mail order This company is a biden creation This is a great company if you don't have to take meds , I'll hp broke with this plan Every quarter I will spend almost my entire monthly income for meds I was lied to !

      Wellcare is the worst ******** RX Plan available, and you are better off with nothing.Unfortunately, you only find out how bad the coverage is AFTER youve signed up and its not possible to switch.Far better prescription coverage is available for free on public RX plans, like Good RX, ******* Pharmacy, ******** Pharmacy, ******* and most grocery stores that offer pharmacy service. I will drop them since I have to keep reminding pharmacies NOT to run anything through WellCare.They should not be part of ******** and are fleecing ******** seniors. They dont even deserve one star since theyll cost you time, trouble and money. What a misleading waste of a company.

      Horrible customer service. I have made every attempt to disenroll for ****, following every procedure required per their website and phone communications, as well as a phone call directly to ********* Apparently it is like 'Hotel California', you can sign-up, but you can never leave. Each of the many phone calls result in multiple holds and transfers, but never a resolution to disenroll as we planned during the appropriate time frame for disenrollment. They have sent me a payment book and told me if I don't pay the premiums, they will terminate me for non-payment. I have found that cash payment for prescriptions using free discount cards is less than the monthly premiums and benefits for this drug coverage.

      HORRIBLE!!!The service provided; the customer service is deplorable. When they transfer you, you end up on hold for several minutes, then a "supervisor" opens the line, and the nightmare continues. HORRIBLE - now going on over an hour, multiple calls, agents, etc. I'd give this a negative star rating, but unable per the method of logging complaints. Reviewing previous complaints clearly your agents need reeducation. Same complaint regarding taking action, resolving issues. When I explain I've spent 2.5 hrs BEFORE paying for this "service" validating all specialty drugs with my provider: USAA, Wellcare rep and Medicare....they STILL seem to be confused at Wellcare........

      This is my second complaint and I've only been with this company for ************************************************************************************************ pleasant surprise. They don't want to feel my medication even though I was told it was covered. When I finally got that out of the way now there's another medication and the nightmare is back. I spent one hour of my life on the phone with a supervisor by the name of ****** last night. When I was put on hold and no one came back for at least 15 minutes I finally hung up after 1 hour and 10 minutes. When you get older time is all you have I have none left to give a worthless company in my opinion. I am now seeking a new company I am done. They outsource their customer service Representatives as told to me, and I can tell by the fact that they don't know what they're doing in my case. I feel like I've been with this company for 6 months and it's only been 30 days. No one should have to live like that

      It's very easy to say they weren't able to get a hold of me to address the issues when I did return a phone call with a message that I stand by what I said. At that time I stated I wanted no further contact because I canceled, and went to another company I was not disenrolled I disenrolled myself the company did not. I love the way they want to make a spin on it. I told them the last time I filed the complaint that it was the last time I was going to deal with it, and yet when I went to fill another medication I found the same problems even after reaching out to a supervisor who gave me no help. This is my personal experience with this company

      Also adding to that the supervisor I spoke with said her name was Cassie, and that my doctor would have to submit proof of my diagnosis before they would give me my medicine. The only thing in question was I could not take a generic I had to have a brand. That had nothing to do with my diagnosis, they are not doctors, and saying that my doctor needed to prove my diagnosis was completely out of line in my personal opinion. No other insurance company has ever gone that intrusive into my life. On another note since I commented on their response they have tried to contact me again by phone leaving no message on my machine. I have screenshots of my caller ID with their number on it and what time and day it came.I have asked this company to leave me alone.
