The male 'vet tech' was not compassionate at all. My 18 year old dog was clearly in distress the morning of 7/7/24. He kept telling me I need a reason to have her euthanized! I told him that all he had to do was look at her to know she needed out of misery. She's been with me for 18 1/2 years. I know when my baby is ready. I explained to the 'tech' that my regular vet and I have her in comfort care and he wanted to know what I meant by that. This idiot was arguing with me. I finally had enough and told him off. He was leaving the room and told me he would get someone else to help me. I had to wait another 15 minutes for someone else to be freed up to take care of her. I would never go there again and I regret taking my baby there. This was at 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning so I really had very little choice. One of the worst days of my life and this idiot has no business being around pets and parents. So very angry and hurt at the way we were treated.

I was robbed by the hospital in southfield. I came in crying with a 6month old puppy and they charged me 900 dollars. They made me leave them with him saying he had a contusion on his lung. Then they wanted 2009 dollars to keep him over night. When I took him to my Dr in the morning he said my pup was perfectly good and there was no contusion. I hate that hospital and they should be shut down

I am a disabled senior citizen who was treated with malice and disrespect by a vet tech at ***********, with the initials of RNZ, at PVSEC NORTH when i assertively questioned procedures/protocol about the treatment of my cat and reimbursement of a possible mis-diagnosis by one of their veterinarians. (my cat's vet made a different diagnosis,) I am hard of hearing, so in a 44-line Patient Report on my cat by "RNZ" (4 lines were of my cat....40 lines was about ME....I was treated like the patient, instead of my cat who was the patient. I was mocked, libeled and slandered by RNZ, and made fun of in writing, when i could not hear, so I asked them to speak slower. *** said that i accused her of doing something bad to my cat. This shocked me, as it was a flat out lie! Her supv, **************, defended her. I am 73 years old. and RNZ with a few other young girls, agreed on a story to back each other up, and stuck together like a swarm of bees in a hive. (maybe their forte is in writing fiction, instead of being vet techs) I concluded that mental problems exist among some of these people, and retraining in social skills and client relations needs implemented. RNZ wrote things I never said, exaggerated our conversation, and just overall, tried to make me look bad. If this is the kind of thing they do to innocent victims in order to intimidate people from asking for their money back, it's just a matter of time for them as indicated by their D- BBB Rating. I even called their corporate office in Florida 3 times and got no response. I decided to never go back there again, even before an "L.C". sent me a CERTIFIED letter saying they no long want my business.Future clients BEWARE: If you are not prepared for backlash for questioning an outlandish bill, do NOT take your pet there in the first place. I am considering action for the libel and slander RNZ even sent it to my cat's personal vet! The $$$ is SO important to them, that they would actually do this to a trusting client!!!

When asked how long the wait was they refused. When push as it was important for us to know. They again refused. Other place in Magnolia told us 4-5 hrs and maybe should try for shorter time elsewhere. We appreciated the honesty Found Urgent Vet and no wait. Rather than consider the public’s needs Blue Pearl insist you come there and sit for hours so they don’t lose your business Terrible Policy. Speaks volumes- don’t go therej

I brought my cat, ***** on Saturday morning (6/8-24) because she was very sick.I was put into a examination room immediately.A vet tech, ************ examined her thoroughly and was very nice realizing my concern Then ************************ came in and explained to me her diagnosis. They could not do much for her because of her age and poor condition.I made the hard decision to put her down.Throughout this whole procedure, they were very compassionate and supportive of my decision.Highly recommend this emergency vet hospital.Staff were amazing.

If I could just tell people if you go to this hospital, beware of the outrageous cost associated here. I was given an initial estimate of $8,000- $12000 and ended up costing 3 times and over 20 days in the icu. They didn’t communicate the full extent of my dogs illness. If I would have known how sick my puppy was and that the estimate give was actually going to end up over $20k I would have never continued to save him. As soon as I started asking about other places to go, blue pearl immediately stopped helping. We ended up finding out that WSU has a vet school in Pullman, wa. So we drive the 4 hrs for affordable emergency care

These people see you distraught with your animal in serious pain and or dying. And they just see money bags in their eyes they're ready to take full advantage of you in your stressed State of mind. They do not care about animals at all they don't care about the humanity of the situation they just want money. They just did whatever they wanted, typed up a list of charges before even asking me if they can do these things. I brought my kitten to their facility at 1:00 a.m. I was the only patient/customer in the entire building. My cat was dying in my arms. They ask if they can do a CPR on her and I say yes. They take her to a back room to work on her. I sat there for two and a half hours before anybody came to talk to me. When they finally do; this lady has an itemized bill of things that they've already done to the poor cat that I did not authorize and no one asked me if it was okay to do. They did all these tests and blood work and IVs etc without informing me or asking my consent. For 2 hours they did all this stuff and racked up a bill of supposedly $1,600 before finally talking to me about it and they say that it could cost $8,000 to $13,000 and it's not a good chance of saving the cat. When I say I don't have any money along those lines and it might be best to put her down. We could have decided that when I first came in and it would have been just the money for the injection to put the cat down. But these jerks literally have me sitting in a room traumatized by myself for 2 hours without being talked to at all. They have the nerve to bill me for things I did not authorize or know the price of. No one asked my permission to do expensive and unnecessary things. They prolonged my poor baby's pain and poked and prodded her for 2 hours just so they could make some money. We could have saved the poor baby some pain and put her down right away. No way it should have ever cost more than just a couple hundred bucks. Inhumane money grubbing greedy punks.

My dog ate from a bag that was headed to the compost pile. Salmon, potatoes, squash (a little mold present) and espresso pucks. I was concerned about the espresso so I took her in 20 minutes after she ate it. Long story shortened..The vet was rude and looking for a cash grab. I specifically told her not to do blood work and **rays. I consented to my dog staying to be watched since they gave her a bunch of meds instead of pumping her stomach. I get a call at 3 am the vet did **rays without consent. The **rays were good, well of course they were, she ate organic food! Now she wants to do a g tube. I tell her NO! Im coming to get my dog! She tells me when I get there my dog is going to explode! Her exact words EXPLODE! With hand gestures! My dog farted several times and she didnt explode, of course! Extremely unprofessional! . They put this dog through so much that was not needed just to make money. They charged me $2000. I called and they did refund me $300 for the **rays. They could have pumped her stomach, charcoal and sent her home. Why put this dog through that over organic food?!? Well because of money, thats why.

My wife and I brought our dog ( french bulldog) to Blue Pearl because she was randomly shaking. Dr. Gal C. Chivvis diagnosed her as having ingested, or been exposed to marijuana, but, did not test for it. She exercised zero tact in implying that we were responsible. My wife told her no one in our household does drugs, yet, she adamantly kept implying that we did. Being black, I felt so insulted and disrespected. I told her I was put off by her implications, and it was obvious she didn't care, "because all black people use drugs". What she should have done was ask if anyone in our household smokes marijuana, because her symptoms are similar to that of being exposed, and once we said no, just leave it at that, but, no, she kept on with the accusation. Her smug, arrogant, judgmental, and prejudice attitude was unacceptable.
