1 starThey allowed my cat to go home with chance that he would reblocked over f***** money. They care nothing about pets or love for pets. Sadly I lost him rushing him to another place. They suck big time. No compassion or love to save a life but f***** care about money instead of saving a life and people crying at front desk. They have no compassion at allReview fromRonda S

1 starGave my pet sugar pills that helped nothing. All she needed was antibiotics and special food another vet figured out in a 5 minute exam. Blue pearl charged over $600 AND DID NOTHING! Intake boy got all info wrong and vet didn't listen when we told her. She gave my pet meds for vomiting and she had diarrhea. While we waited they told the wrong people bad news about their cat. BEWARE!Review fromTreva U

1 starI can't fit the entire story here, but essenatilly they cat fished money out of me. Told me my pets surgery would be max $6000 after I already spent $5,000. Only to give me a final quote of $11,000 for the surgery and they refused to make it right. They put us $5000 in debt and we still have to euthanize our best friend, because they gave us the wrong information. When I asked them to make it right they very kindly told me no. We spent an extra week in turmoil because of them and got nothing. Thanks Blue Pearl for litreally being money hungry jerks that care about nothing. YOU MESSED UP and should have made it right. If you want to read the full story its on ****** reviews.Review fromTyler C

1 starAbsolutely unprofessional And unacceptable. I went in Tuesday morning for an emergency for my dog at 7 am 6/2/24 and found there to be absolutely nobody at the hospital. There was a sign on the door that stated sorry were not taking emergencies. I thought this business was a 24 hour EMERGENCY vet hospital. I will never even try to go back and dont even think if you have an emergency they will help because chances are no one will be there. Will not recommend to a soul and Id hope you dont go either. Take your animal to university Florida emergency room. They had 3 people in there when I want.Review fromPaula P

1 starI won’t even give them one star….They KILLED my cat…….the worst treatment I have ever seen, there documentation does not match my voicemail. My cat declined horribly in there ICU, I WILL NEVER BRING ONE OF MY FUR BABIES TO THEM AGAIN! All they care about is the money, every time I was there I was given another ‘estimate’, which I gladly paid in hopes my kitty was actually being treated. I could go on but it won’t bring my boy back nor will it get my 800.00 + back, I would gladly have spent 3 x that if they would have taken care of him……the vets and techs are incompetent, no one talks to each other and when I went to get copies of his records I was asked by the receptionist if he was still in the ICU, to which I answered “no he died here 1 week ago”.Review fromPatricia N

1 starTHINK TWICE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE HAVING THIS VET DO AN OP ON your animal. They ruined the end of our dog’s life and robbed 10k from us. We dropped our still mobile dog Oscar off at Blue Pearl in Maitland, FL and he came out paralyzed. He was never able to walk again until we were forced to put him to sleep. Blue Pearl is a surgery mill that exploits people’s love for their pets for money. Blue Pearl has 1 of 5 stars, a “D-” BBB rating, and numerous lawsuits Nationwide. Oscar had started to drag one of his back legs and recently started having choppy front steps. They said IVDD surgery would fix our pup and that it had a 95% success rate we decided to proceed with the 10k surgery. This was a lie; it is more like a 40% success rate when you do more research. After the procedure, he could not walk AT ALL. He was paralyzed, in a lot of pain, and traumatized. They had failed to mention that we would need to spend 3k more to do physical therapy. We got a physical therapist right away. At his follow-up appt. Dr. Stark told us we may need to take our seats. And then with almost a smug smile on her face said "Well, it looks like your dog got another injury since his surgery, and unless you have 10k more to spend on another surgery. It looks like euthanasia is the next option." You can imagine our shock as we were gaslit. She could not say when 2nd herniated disc occurred because they only examined and x-rayed his neck area and never looked at his entire spine. We deeply regret that we had just given our dog steroids so that he could have had a happier end to his life. I am disgusted that this company exploits people’s love for their pets to make a profit. When we informed the doctor that we would not be giving Blue Pearl anymore of our money they handed us some steroids and pain meds and we never heard from them again. Oscar was a beloved family member who deserved compassionate care that he did not receive at BluePearl.Review fromDavid D

1 starPlease do yourself and your fur baby a favor and go to another vet if you can. After charging a large sum of money for overnight care and testing, to have the vet fail to give us any sense of our sweet dog's prognosis while acknowledging the financial cost, proceeded to botch the euthanasia process and disappeared for almost *************************************** the middle of their work area doing nothing. That night has haunted us for over a year now and the company has chosen to ignore my two attempts to speak with either the BluePearl president or Mars Petcare ***; I have the signed receipts showing where employees of their offices signed for the letters. While I did interact with a member of what they call "client relations" team after my first letter, they lacked empathy and when I asked to speak to someone above him twice I never received a response. After allowing some time to pass, I sent a follow up letter to the *** and president detailing what happened and included the correspondence with their employee. I did not even receive an apology for what happened from the company. It tells you all you need to know about them - happy to take your money and walk away when things don't go well.I hope this prevents at least family from going what we have gone through.Review fromLori P

1 starThe worst experience. They said my dog was not in pain. We squeezed him and he didn’t cry. That’s what they said. We took the dog to Michigan State Veterinary Hospital. He had a herniated disc and his bladder was about to explode . Do not trust blue pearl!!! We had to put him to sleepReview fromBrian O

1 starThey are evil, they will charge you five times be charged for the same services in human. For example I recently had an MRI myself, and it was $650. Blue ***** refuse to tell me anything about the health of my dog unless I paid them $5,000 for an mri, and then had to wait a week and a half for results. And even then we had to drag it out of them.I went 20 miles outside of ******* and went into a tractor supply store looking for veterinarian recommendations, and they gave me wonderful ones. The country vet's where a third of the price, they do all the things that don't cost anything, or cost very little to check the health of your animal. They laughed at Blue *****, and our now former veterinarian Peachtree Hills in buckhead. They laughed at the Buckhead and Blue ***** for their incompetence, and the obvious nature of their scam; which is taking advantage of emotional pet owners to charge them excessively for their services We ended up going to the *** vet school, got a correct diagnosis which ended up being radiation treatment for bone cancer in our Ridgeback skull, that I was asking Blue ***** and Peachtree Hills about for a year. If we listen to the idiot vets in Blue ***** and Peachtree hills, we would put our dog down. But thanks to actual good vets in the *** vet school he will live out his remaining life. Do not go to Blue *****, they will treat you like garbage. They will mock you whenever you show concern that they are pricing their services excessively high. You will get terrible service levels if you get service at all.Blue ***** and veterinary hospitals like them are run by investment firms. They are the new payday loan scammers of this generation. The people that run places like blue ***** need to be put in prison just like the predatory payday lenders were. There's no difference, except I'd wager that these vile people running these scams to take pet owners and their hard earned money the troubles of a pet to rip people off.Review fromJames K

1 starWORST ANIMAL HOSPITAL EVER!
Sadly, I had to take our 7yr old cat to this dump, that claims to be a "specialty/emergency care" facility in levittown PA.
Dr Chalifoux was great, caring and compassionate about our cats health. He did everything he could to help my kitty. She got better after the first day, but started feeling bad again after we brought her home, so we had to take her back. unfortunately we got stuck with a POS so called dr called Jessica Kielb Basile. We got stuck with her since Dr. Chalifoux had off the next day, and She was the most heartless, and uncompassionate jerk that I've ever had to deal with. She should be fired for killing animals. I do believe there are laws against cruelty to animals.
Sadly I have had to euthanize a few animals in my life, and NONE of them suffered like my cat had to at the hands of this so called veterinarian. Every one of my past animals went peacefully, and drifted away with no pain. BUT when Jessica kielb gave my cat the shots, she practically tried to jump out of my wife's arms and cried out in pain. She didn't slowly inject her she jammed the needle in and quickly pushed the plunger. That's what made my cat react how she did. She rushed it, with NO HEART or care for my animal. Not to mention, the over pricing of services. 2 days in this place cost me $10,000 and all she cared about was putting my cat down. After spending 2 days in that place, she couldn't even give us a direct answer to why my cat was so sick. I hate myself for taking my animal to this place. I will NEVER forget the look of fear in my poor cats eyes when she gave her the shot. I hope someone does something about this heartless POS of a human being. She doesn't belong in an animal hospital. She deserves to be unemployed. I hope she doesn't have any children or a husband because she probably treats them like like crap too.
AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR PET MURDERED!!!! ESPECIALLY JESSICA KIELB!
The rest of the staff was pleasant and caring.
