      I think Hotel Planner is a deceitful company who will lie in order to make a sale. I was traveling cross country from Ontario to British Columbia to help move my friends belongings. I went on the Carriage House web page (or so I thought) to book a room. The booking agent assured me I was speaking with the hotel directly. I asked twice if I was speaking with the Calgary location because I detected a southern drawl from the representative on the phone. Low and behold I was charged in US dollars on my credit card statement. I called the hotel planner to have the over charge refunded but was given an excuse about taking 10 days for a refund. Not impressed by their deceitful practices. My stay was for October 21st 2022 booking number was ******** Not impressed with these deceitful people

      Was the worst place, filthy, mosquitoes, flies and gnats. The bed was so lumpy couldn't get a good night sleep. Dead bugs killed on walls. I believed I was talking to LA Quinta but I was wrong. Routed to Expedia. Was charged an arm and a leg. The hotel even charged us 456.76. A lot cheaper than your price of 717.14 even though your email said 687.15. Want be doing this again. Never booked rooms before and want be doing this again. I feel as though we were *******.

      The $456.76 charge should have gone to the 3rd party provider. That price was privately negotiated between the 3rd party and the hotel and is not supposed to be public knowledge.

      We had a horrible experience with this company. They will not respond back to you and keep point fingers at a tournament company that we were participating in. We booked a ********* Lucid and they charged ** a deposit at the time of booking which looked like was a charge from the hotel. Deposits normally come off the final total and this one did not because the hotel claims they never got the deposit nor did they charge ** a deposit. They are charging deposits under hotel names and when we called to get the deposit refunded since it didn't come off of our final cost they have been given us the run around. Beware of using this service.

      The reservation you made was part of a tournament. That tournament uses Lucid Travel as a software product to help them manage their own hotel room blocks. Lucid Travel did not set up the hotel contracts or work with the hotels at all. Also, the tournament has the ability to add a rebate to the hotel price. In this case, the reservation deposit was added by the tournament as extra revenue. None of that goes to Lucid Travel at all.
      We understand your frustration but (in this case) Lucid was simply the software product and all of the hotel prices and settings were set by the tournament. We would love to speak with you to change your mind about Lucid Travel. We care deeply about our customers and have ambitions to continue our rapid growth.
