      Be careful, this hotel search is misleading. I thought on (08/22/22) I was on ******************* website. After filling in all questions to receive price and availability information only a text message from my bank came up immediately notifying that my credit card was charged. I called the hotel directly and was told I am paid in full. "For what and if so, I would like to cancel?" I spoke. " Can't be done, was booked by a third party" A man at service desk of Best Western replied. "Who is this third Party?" I inquired. "Don't know" Hotel person told me. I called my bank. They could not give me a name but a telephone number. I called the number, and something was mumbled. "Who" I asked. That's when I learned it was HotelPlanner.com. Never heard of this business. I went back to this unauthorized reservation and canceled all information's immediately. Since then, I have unsuccessfully asked to receive the charged amount of $194.66 back. A day later on (08/23/22) I received a refund of $146.00. I am still waiting to receive the $48.66 due. They claim a penalty is due. For what, that I unknowingly browsed their website? I am asking for a full refund, not part only. Honest American businesses have no problem refunding and usually give customers 3 to 10 days to complete legal business transaction.

The cancellation policy to which you agreed is as follows: Each room in this reservation is refundable with a penalty: Bookings cancelled before 09/05/2022, 6:00 PM ************ time) are subject to a fee of 25 percent of the total. There is no refund for no-shows, early checkouts, or cancellations after 09/05/2022, 6:00 PM ************ time).

      Hotel planner is a dishonest web site that profits by misleading customers. They showed their prices in CAD but when I booked they charged the same amount in USD. Then I complained to them and they said "they will request a price adjustment and maybe it will be approved" . So I cancelled with them, I don't have time to sit there and deal with your sketchy departments. Then they charged me for 1 night stay anyways. Complete *****, **** site ! Do not use !
