Business was paid in full for full house window and doors, and had only to come back and provide one window clip and two adjustments for windows sliding off track. This has been an ongoing issue since installation and is getting worse over time.Business Response

Since inception of the cited concerns from the Customer the Company has dispatched our certified technicians to formally evaluate the issue. Upon completion of our inspection report the Company promptly placed an order for the parts and/or components required to remedy the operational concerns of the ********************************* is currently awaiting delivery of the service order in reference to the Customer's project and shall promptly notify the Customer upon receipt of the parts. The Company has been in communication with the Customer concerning the next steps and will keep them apprised of any new information as available.

I am rejecting this response because: this seems like more lip service than a resolution. We have experienced these types of empty promises in the past. *********** has been paid in full (over $30,000) for months and months and never has fulfilled their promises to us to repair these windows, which are leaking. The only resolution we will accept are the adequate FINISHED REPAIR of the windows.Further, I would request that the company refrain from sending emails stating that our complaints are "unwarranted" and demanding we take them down immediately.

The contractor has repeatedly failed to install windows to manufacturer guidelines and specifications after numerous attempts. Contractor has failed to pass city inspection after numerous inspection attempts and has allowed permit to expire after not working on project for prolonged periods of time. The contractor has filed a false statement to Broward county in order to secure a lien, the dates reported where false as contractor stated last date of furnished services or materials was December 2022, when the actual date is October 2022. The contractor has repeatedly failed to respond to verbal and written request according to **. S. ******* - requests for list of subcontractors and suppliers. This request arose from subcontractor stating to homeowner that contractor has failed to pay accurately and timely in the past. The subcontractor was also left to perform unsupervised structural work to home and the need to know if subcontractor was license arose from quality of work. The contractor has maliciously attempted to hide structural defects in work from homeowner and city inspector by dropping unsecured nails/screws into manufacturer indicated areas and applying silicone to secure loose nails/screws. The contractor also has unethically and prematurely filed a lien on property by including incorrect dates on lien filing and by failing to correct or complete work after prolonged attempts - contractor stated that contractually compliant withholding of funds where unreasonably withheld. I am rejecting this response because: the company owner did not come out until December 1, 2022 contrary to his response. On this date, the company had already been out more than 4 times previously to correct the repairs. The work is not cosmetic, the work is structural - as the windows are not secured by anything at the bottom, this was confirmed by the city inspector and the owner *****************, both in writing. The response says that the owner called the city inspector - which is false, I have voicemails proving that all calls to city inspector were done by contractor. The inspector came out at least 4 different times when called by contractor - all failed attempts to pass inspection. The final attempt to correct structural concerns by contractor was when they attempted to deceive property owner and city inspector by applying silicone to screws, which owner has photos showing ******* doing. The company receive letters via certified mail by owner requesting information on project that were all ignored against state statues, I have proof of delivery of letters. No work was performed to property on December 15, 2022 or even months prior - contrary to contractor statements - I have proof of this. The entire response from contractor is false - owner has not even received any filings of legal actions other than an invalid lien that has been contested.

I am rejecting this response because: Contractors response is completely false. I have proof of attempts to contact company through certified mail and proof of company applying silicone to structural screws. Company has stated in writing that the only solution to correct faults in work is to completely redo the job. They have only agreed to redo the work after being confronted about the deceiving actions by contractor and after contesting the invalid lien they placed on the property. The have recored incorrect dates with the county in order to place a lien on the property and have no proof they have attempted to contact me, as they never attempted to - contrary to their statements. The contractor states that I am requested a third party present to inspect the work and that has never been brought up. Their response is still completely false and therefore is rejected.

Many of the customers claim is simply false and we continue to go back and forth with him. We have tried repeatedly to schedule work to be completed at his home but he had been nonresponsive until a protective mechanics lien was filed. The lien was filed at the recommendation of our outside counsel to preserve our rights as the amount of work and product ordered for the customers house exceeds the deposit he provided to the Company. My windows and sliders r Crooked . MY sliders dont close right! I have told them this when they demanded the last payment of $1000 of a $28,000 job. I told them, All my sliders do not closed probably! U fixed. The beauty outside but I am still in danger for what I bought the windows for in the first place! So either they do something and properly fix all their mistakes that I have asked or I am hiring someone else and they r paying for it. I went thru hurricanes season a nervous wreck buying a horrible product! They were shoving these windows in to fit. My decorative window is in on a slate! It still has a sticker on it. I cant get it down, They were supposed to send someone,too! I paid them $27,000 for this junk in a two bedroom! The best part was when I asked where r the screens? They said oh u didnt order screens. I was never even asked they just check a box and dont ask the client. Isnt that sweet? U think a person would buy 3 sliders with a fenced yard out to a garden she put in with no screens? Take it I have built homes with my husband. We didnt like screened in pools so we always had screens on our sliders so y would I change on this home that I bought that obviously didnt have a screened yard!Business Response

Had Salesman come to my home 6/17/2022. Agreed on having 7 windows and 2 doors impact for ******** Gave deposit and last time I ever could get in touch with him again. Statewide was to fill out a few forms so that HOA would approve the job. Paperwork at best was childlike, really pathetic. The management company denied it. So with ******* deposit and 6 months later nothing has *** done. Could not even imagine the quality of work they would do,and what it would cost to fix it. Statewide at every step of the way from salesman not calling back day after I gave **** to amf forms filled out to wrong HOA. Every chance to get windows installed statewide dropped the ball.Im done forms that I was to look over and sign but instead both were signed or call it forged by someone at statewide. 90 days after permit was issued statewide violated state law on time limits on contracts with more than 10 percent down. Everybody involved was fully aware what they were doing as I see now by read bbb complaints this was standard operating procedure.I am no long obliged to do business with statewide.I sent letter of demand with legal rights that a person has. The offer says nothing.I have taken steps as advised by state officials.

The Company does not agree with the Customer's statement concerning the project and misinterpretation of the building codes. The Company has been ready, willing and able to install all the materials for several months now, however the Customer has thwarted and/or failed to obtain the ********************** consent to perform the architectural modifications.
The Company has incurred significant costs on this project and cancellation at this juncture would incur additional out of pocket fees due. The Company can provide an invoice for the additional costs due for cancellation after the instituted three (3) day right to recission period, however the Company would gladly like to proceed with the project and fulfill the obligations per the original Contract.

Address the fact that any attempt to apply to hoa were signed by someone other than me. That is a fact. I hired Statewide windows and doors to install 11 impact windows and 1 front door. A subcontractor by the name of Palm Beach Glazing came out and did the work. It was done so badly that we had leaks which caused damage to our home, after fighting with ****** from Palm Beach Glazing he admitted his crew did a horrible install and promised he would come back and fix everything, he never showed up! We went to Statewide's showroom 2 days later and asked for a manager and we were directed to ****. We showed **** pictures of the install and he asked if he could come to our house and see it for himself. He came out a few days later and admitted it was a terrible install and he said he would get it fixed. We told **** that the first installer didn't use any protection on most of our vinyl flooring and ruined the floor beyond repair. We have photos to prove it. We told everyone connected to the job that my wife was having her knee replaced on 10-26-2022 and we needed the job done before that date. **** sent out another crew and things still aren't correct. **** is sending a crew for a third install. Windows are crooked in the frames, side gaps are not equal, several windows won't stay fully open, no caulking Installed in the inside of the windows. We have concrete gushing out from under the front door threshold in the house, and the best part is that yesterday we received a certified letter stating that Statewide put a lien on our property asking for payment in full because the job is complete according to our contract. **** told us we are entitled to a discount for all we have been through but the lien is for the total amount. We missed out on Y-grene financing thanks to the horrible job ****** and his crew did. Statewide never asked us how we were going to pay but they took it upon themselves to give our Information to a secondary financing company who had 7 different people calling us all times of day and night from ********** stating Statewide told them to call us.Business Response

Hello I need help regarding a Permit Number B-2021-******-**** that Statewide windows and doors company pulled after we signed a contract on March 13, 2021 and gave them a deposit for installation of Hurricane windows and doors. One of they employee came four time to take the Measurements. After one year and one month, on April 5 they came and installed the windows and doors but the job was not completed. The screens on the sliding doors were not installed and they also left parts that were supposed to be installed on the windows. Them the County Code Enforcement Inspector came on April 7,2021 to Approved the work. However the inspector did not approved it because some sliding glass doors separating the enclosed ******* room from the living room were removed by the Previous owner. Now Code enforcement is saying it is my problem to get a Mechanical constructor to replace the glass doors. I dont understand why the person that came four time did not say anything about the Glass sliding doors that were removed. I am rejecting this response because:I Partial agreed with the company response however On April 27,2022 I went to the building code enforcement and explained the situation to one of the employee. The employee advise me to go back to Statewide and tell them all they needed to do was get a revised permit. ******************** from Statewide told me this had happened before and she would take care of it. I have called several times Code Enforcement nothing had been filed for a Revise permit. Yes Statewide put up the windows and doors but the job is still not completed. And as of today I have paid Statewide $19,380.00.--

The Company received the Customer's feedback from the building department concerning the suggested revision of the permit. However, the revision suggest would involve additional trade assessments under a sub permit application from either mechanical or electrical to correct the existing deficiencies on the property. The Customer must engage a certified Engineer to draft the required scope of work for the other trades to follow in order to accurately revise the permit application and correct the deficiencies. The Company has provided recommendations to the Customer for engineering services which must be enacted on the Customer's behalf.
The Company is happy and willing to work with the Customer towards closure of the permit however the existing deficiencies upon the property our beyond the Company's scope of work and Contractual requirements.

The two emails they send providing recommendation was asking someone by the name **** to contact me, which I never heard from ****
2nd email asking me if they can send someone to measure the interior sliding glass door that I needed to purchase, so you can collect the balance owed. I responded to your first email to please send me **** phone number because I dont pick phone calls I dont recognize.
My response to your 2nd recommendation email was that if you wanted to collect the balance owed, which is $1,020. You must first finish the job that your people left undone. They left behind parts that I think it goes to the windows and hang up the screen doors to the impact sliding glass doors. Which I went to ********** and paid two man to come over to my house and hang up the screen doors, which was done incorrectly because that was not they job.
I am a senior citizen without any structural experiences, therefore I will keep on googling for certified engineers, because the company never recommend any certified engineers, never returned my text, emails or my phone calls. I want to put this nightmare behind me that I ever signed a contract with Statewide windows and doors.Business Response

The Company has been in communication with the Customers concerning the needs for corrections to the existing deficiencies sited by the building inspector. As expressed previously this work is outside of our scope and needs to be evaluated for assessment by a certified engineer. On August 8, 2022 we extended recommendations for our preferred engineer to the Customer to contact for assistance and a quote on the work to be performed. Alternatively, the Company did offer a proposed resolution for the Customer to purchase an interior door separating the enclosed patio from the livable space thusly reclassifying the area as non-habitable space once more. The latest communication sent on this topic was on November 28, 2022 (no response on the inquiry).
Once more the Company is ready willing and able to complete the final s**** cover applications and host final inspection however the existing deficiencies must be corrected prior to this occurring.

How many times I have called and left ******************************** messages to please call me back and I am still waiting to hear from him or any one else from the Company. I want to solve this situation as soon possible. I am still waiting to hear from someone he mentioned, Mr **** he was supposed to come take the measurement for the interior sliding glass door, I am still waiting.
I last called ***************** if we can meet in person, no response from *****************. I even had several different people call him for me and no response. From ***************** or his company.
I am tryin to get a mechanical engineer to help without any success. ***************** will not recommend anyone.

For the uncompleted job. They filed a claim of Lien against my unit for the amount of $1020.00 that I will be more then happy to pay it as long as the company the job. I have sliding screen doors inside my unit and some parts that need to be installed on the window.

The Company has received the client's response and has exerted efforts to assist the client with reconciliation of the existing deficiencies which have no relation on our Contract. The Client still owes the balance of $1,020.00 and has filed a rightful claim of lien against the property due to the time elapsed without receipt of payment.
The Company recommends sourcing proposals from other engineers to assist with the corrections to the deficiencies on the property; however this matter is mutually exclusive of the Contract with the Company and should not be a premise of this unjust complaint launched by the Client

Dear ****************** Mr. ************** letter is been sent to with the purpose of either negotiating a possible release from the agreement of May 9, 2022, regarding replacement of the windows/doors of he above stated property located in **************, *******. When the financing agreement and contract were signed with your company and Ygreene, I was told that the project SHOULD be completed before October 2022. The other companies that came to my apartment provided much lower estimates but longer periods of project completion and were not in business as long as your company. Consequently, I decided to hire your company for the project.On May 9, 2022 Mr. ********* received the following communication from Ygreene You are now authorized your company to move into construction/installation of the project. On June 10, 2022, I received an email from ************************* with attachments/forms to be signed by ************ 1. The same were signed and sent to **************** by email on or about June 12, 2022. The last time I contacted **************** in September 2022, I was told that nothing had been done with the project as the company had not received authorization from ************ HOA, which is contrary to the facts and/or emails which are in my possession. I have called and texted you numerous times only to be given a run around (last time October 21, 2022) and nobody seems to be considerate enough to provide a reasonable explanation why the project has not been completed or even started. At this point in time I demand a fact based explanation of the reasons why the deadline for installation has not competed and/or evidence that the same will be completed in the next fourteen (14) days from this letter. Furthermore, as the Ygreene is no longer in business, I refuse to sign any other financing unless; a) the project is completed within 14 days and; b) there is a substantial discount on the agreement for your negligence.Yours truly,*************************Initial Complaint

Ordered and had installed 8 impact windows however one had a broken pane and 4 were defective with hairline cracks. I received a call that the broken window replacement was in and all others will be in on 9/13. On 9/23 I called and spoke with ******************* and was advised he would call me on Monday to schedule installation. He never called me and I have since called several times leaving voice messages but as of today, October 15th no-one has returned any of my calls. I want the windows installed so I can then take care of the damage done to the bedroom window frame that was created by the installers of which I have before, during and after photos.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:On October 21, I returned home to a voice mail from *** that they were coming tomorrow Saturday, October 22 to do the work. Arose early the following day and had someone come and move my furniture at a cost to me so they could access all windows but at 10:25 am I received an email from ******* that the work wasn't being done that day rather Wednesday, October 26th. On Wednesday October 26th at 3:30 pm a gentleman came however he brought none of the replacement items and did none of the warrantied work. All he did was take pictures of the defects and left. They must have figured it was time to do an inspection as one was never done prior per **************** letter that a project manager conducted an inspection. All deficiencies were forwarded to them by me after they were found. This can all be documented should the need arise. Nothing has been done nor has anyone been to my home since the windows were installed other than yesterday October 26th. It is a disgrace that the Better Business Bureau rates them an A+ as they seem to prey on seniors such as I.

The Company humbly disagrees with the Customer's claims cited in the rebuttal presented. A senior technician from the Company was dispatched on October 26, 2022 to the Customer's residences in anticipation of commencing the warranty however it was discovered upon delivery the manufacturer had sent us the incorrect parts to complete the work. Further documentation was gathered at the time of this appointment and sent promptly to the factory for the corrective replacement items to be processed. Currently, the Company tentatively expects receipt of the proper items around the end of November and shall swiftly execute the work once received.
The Company apologies for the error committed by the factory and our team has requested an expedite on the proper materials. The Company has been continuously working on the warranty claim with the factory and has maintained communication with updates along the way.

I am rejecting this response because:The technician came as promised however he brought nothing as he intended to no exactly that, nothing. This was probably the inspection that was claimed had been done prior which it hadn't. One window pane has to be replaced and why 5 months later you still don't have 1 pane of glass? Who is kidding who! I will wait until the end of November for the parts which have been received several times and if this job isn't completed satisfactorily will seek legal recourse.

The Company does not agree with the Customer's accusations and claims insinuated in the response provided. Formal communication has been maintained with the Customer with updates concerning the project status since execution of the Contract. The Company still maintains possession of the all the custom materials order under the original agreement and stands ready and willing to complete the obligations set forth in the Contract.
