This company is a scam They are supposed to handle the damage done by "WE CARE FOR YOU" moving company. Claims process is so convoluted and the website does not even allow for all the files requested to be uploaded. Erases files added and then claim cannot be processed because all the data is not in a "one file attachment". When asking for help to get **** the information to them, they provide a third party "help" which will only assist if you give them your credit card information to charge for their *********************** appears that moving companies use them as a front to solve issues when all they will do is drag it out beyond the statue of limitations so you cannot file lawsuits. Hello. I see the mail and the cheesie response from the people claiming they are there to help get a resolution as they are a 3rd party, they were contracted with ryder relocation moving company and to pay for damages, losses etc some at .60-1.00 a pound there is significant amount of damages they offered to pay ***** they are there to make claim good why would they offer a ***** for severe damages? I'm sorry I don't understand...I also don't understand what they are going to do, would you please assist in helping me understand what I can do please thank you Rachelle

Moving Claims refuses to provide the calculation of insurance proceeds on a claim filed. The mover admits damage to my goods and uses Moving Claims to process insurance claims. Moving Claims continues to say that it is using the purchased insurance rate of 60 cents per pound to calucate the proposed claim of $71, yet refuses to provide the calculation for how it derived 118 pounds of damaged goods. I have totaled hundreds of pounds of damaged items (furniture and dishes mainly), and have no ability to dispute the proposed claim without the details of how the claim is being calucated. They also make the claim filing process next to impossible and will only allow you to upload a very small amount of pictures (which they require to validate your claim). They appear to collude with the moving companies to keep the claims down.They also use a system in which it is impossible to determine what has been reviewed, accepted, questioned, etc. and every interatcion requires a massive amount of time and repeating of information. They system is desiged to wear out the customer to make them go away. This is clearly documented in other reviews/complaints.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The claim is CLEARLY against Moving Claim Services and its role in calculating the damages to me under my insurance claim. It is a fraudulent business practcie to refuse to disclose the calculation of the damages, but rather to provide a very low value with no substantiation. That is the job of Moving Claim Services - to provide the value of the insurance payout. Yet, they refuse to provide the calcualtion behind the number, making it impossible to dispute. Not only is the fraudulent, it indicates collusion with the movers -- somthing the ** should be investigating. I'm merely asking for HOW they calculated the amount -- using 60 cents against what weights? Seems like a very simple explanation that, without fraud, would be easy to provide. They have the math.

Moving Claims (CSI) does not practice Insurance law, does not give legal advice, and does not adjust insurance claims. By using the Moving Claims website, no insurance claim will be created with Moving Claims. Instead, you are filing a Household Goods claim directly with the motor carrier who moved you via Moving Claims (CSI) Websites for the purposes of settlement negotiations based upon the valuation selection you made; not an insurance claim.

I was required by ************ Moving and Storage to send my claim for damaged items through MovingClaims.net, which I did. It took several attempts with no success and after jumping through their many hoops and filling out the exact same paperwork multiple times, I finally had to mail my 14 page "Claims Procedure Package with the limited photos they would allow, This process started in November 2023. I finally received an email on a Settlement of ******************************* Release of Liability offer of 60 cents per pound at $166.00. I have asked them repeatedly (exactly 30 emails) requesting an itemized list that shows how they calculated their settlement amount of $166.00. They continue to send a standardize form continuing to ignore my questions as to how they came up with this settlement. My claim was for 14 damaged items with a total weight of 893 pounds. Using their stated coverage at the 60 cents per pound, I would expect to recover $535.00 ( 893 x 60) according to the Bill of Lading/contract.I received a statement from Moving Claims "In case you find the settlement offer from your carrier unsatisfactory, you are required to submit an ONLINE DISPUTE LETTER REQUEST aiming for a more favorable resolution" which I did Moving Claims came back with another Settlement of Claim stating "after careful evaluation of your claim this settlement has been found in the amount of $81.00 and to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction, *********** ********************** is willing to compensate you an additional $50.00 to the $81.00 the total settlement has been given in the amount of $131.00-COMPANY FINAL OFFER" This offer (less than the original of $ 166.00) of $131.00 vs the claim amount of $535.00, this is their more favorable resolution? My claim was for 14 damaged items with a total weight of 893 pounds. Using their stated coverage at the 60 cents per pound, I would expect to recover $535.00 (893 x 60) according to the Bill of Lading/contract.
I received a statement from Moving Claims "In case you find the settlement offer from your carrier unsatisfactory, you are required to submit an ONLINE DISPUTE LETTER REQUEST through which you can present additional supporting documents to request a re-evaluation of your case, aiming for a more favorable resolution" So I filled out the ONLINE DISPUTE LETTER REQUEST and Moving Claims came back with another Settlement of Claim & Global Release of Liability stating "after careful evaluation of your claim this settlement has been found in the amount of $81.00 and to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction,*********** ********************** is willing to compensate you an additional $50.00 to the $81.00 of which the company is obligated to compensate based on the legal terms and conditions. Therefore, the total settlement has been given in the amount of $131.00-COMPANY FINAL OFFER"
This offer is now less than the original of $ ******. The $131.00 latest offer vs the claim amount of $535.00 which is the liability contract of 60 cents per pound, this is their more favorable resolution . After 30 emails to date (last being May 31 2024) to get the moving companies obligated compensation, I have yet to see a more favorable resolution offer or explanation of their valuation of claim for this low-ball compensation.This company has already had several complaints on this platform and should not be allowed to do business. After having Elite *** Lines sell my account to the worst ********************** companies in the ** (Green ******* Movers and American Pacific Transporters), as directed, I filed a settlement for huge and negligent amounts of damage to my property. I jumped through every hoop MovingClaims.net could throw in my way--repeatedly--their requirements for filing include giving away EVERY right I might have in the situation. You CANNOT file the claim without giving up your rights. HOW IS THIS LEGAL? Spare me the 3rd party stuff. You get paid by the movers to stall and deflect, waste my time, and hope that I will give up and stop seeking recompense I am owed.Like other complaints, I put enormous effort and met every ridiculous requirement to make my claim for thousands of dollars. Also like other complaints, I get a short response offer of $100 without ANY explanation or description of where the company came up with the amount.Just one of the items destroyed by the movers was a petrified wood table that weighs 225 pounds. The process of getting refunded is absolutely insane. I would give 0 starts if I could. Why should I have to have my settlement notarized out of my own pocket? I filed a complaint regarding damages occurred during my move. Movingclaims.com is the party responsible for handling the claim. I managed to submit my claim pictures and descriptions for $1300 in accordance with the rules stated on the Bill of Lading. This despite their website is full of malware so you really have to be careful which buttons you push.Back came a settlement offer of $92. No description no details just an amount. After several attempts through phone and email i was asked to file a dispute.However the dispute page also has no details, so there is no way for me to send a dispute. I sent them another email to which I got yet another non-descript template letter. They only answer in templates, and never answer a single question. The company should be forced to close as their only tactic is to drag out time, until people cave in and sign for pennies on the dollar. I see you decide that the counterpart submitted good faith answers.
Did you read them, or was it simply because they answered three times. At no point in time did they address the specific issues raised.
If you take a look at the company they are using the same tactic over and over again and are always answering with the same templates regardless of what the consumer asks.
By keeping this kind of company on a B-rating you are essentially justifying their behavior, which is very surprising to me.
All I asked for were details in a settlement, which they refuse to provide. I never disputed the settlement, as I do not have the details to do so. So I guess BBB finds it acceptable to refuse this. Maybe that behavior is allowed by law, I do not know, but it cannot be good business ethics.

We are not an insurance, moving nor repair company, we simply process claims/complaints. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for any actions taken by the customers service provider (moving company).
Upon reviewing the customers complaint it is CLEARLY not addressing our services and involvement in this process. Based on the information provided by the customer, their complaint is against the responsible party, which is their moving company NOT MovingClaims.com, which is the Claims processing company for their moving company.
Due to Moving Claims being wrongfully accused, we request to have the above referenced complaint removed from our records, and transferred to the respective party who is responsible, as it proposes an undeserving threat to our reputation, considering the services we provide are not related to the customer complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: this business is owned by the same owners as Beacon Moving and logistics. This company did not do an adequate evaluation and Beacon was a horrendous broker as was Blue Lion moving and storage in terms of moving capabilities and professionalism. Moving Claims is a fraudulent company as they did not evaluate any of the damages lost items and overcharges Beacon and Blue $9000. Moving Claims is done absolutely nothing to evaluate the problems properly.

Moving Claims is a fraudulent company. They are an extension or owned by the same people who own Beacon moving out and logistics. They did not perform any type of evaluation process and did not come to my home to evaluate the damages and losses or stolen items or the overpayments.
