We hired Atlantis Moving Company located out of ****** ******** to move all of our possessions cross country from ******, ********** to ******* ************. The cost of this move was between $12,000-$13,000.When the moving company arrived at our storage unit in ******* ************, the drivers refused to unload our belongings unless we paid them an extra $1200. They said this was because the original truck was not able to make it into our storage area and they had to reload the truck. However, they had the address of the storage unit and could easily see on ****** maps the layout beforehand. They were holding our items hostage and threatening to take them away. We ended up being forced to pay the extra or have them drive off with our personal property! When we unloaded the storage unit three months later (it took us that long to buy a house), we found a LOT of damage. They not only broke a large piece of artwork (the wood piece in the picture which they had already noted on their paperwork when they unloaded) as well as glass collections, glass table tops, wine glasses and dish ware from Europe was also broken. My husband has a whisky barrel which was damaged as well. We were missing 2-3 boxes of clothing and new computer but given boxes that weren't ours. When we filed a claim with MOVING CLAIMS SVCS., they made us fill out extensive paperwork ( we have done this before and NEVER had to fill out paperwork like this); we filled out all necessary documents and took pictures......this process went on for three months (from when we originally contacted them). In the end they offered a settlement of $87.00. We refused this offer and want both ****************** (******) AND MOVING CLAIMS SVCS. to be looked into and penalized in whatever way possible as well as receiving our full claim for the value of damage and loss of our personal property. I would encourage you to look up a picture online of MOVING CLAIMS SVCS. and their ratings; they look like a scam!Business Response

I hired a moving company that lost and damaged my property, I was told to contact Moving Claims, I have NEVER seen a company like this. They make it difficult for to to do anything online, So I Mailed it they came back with same excuse, we need this and that. Best part is I have to start completely over, so all the documents I sent were useless, this is ridiculous and this should be a crime. As you see by other complaints they make it difficult to submitt anything online. Do they know the time in effort I put into completing "the claims package"!! What you do and how you treat people is unprofessional and it's truly sad. I lost memories, items and so much damage and now you make it ridiculously impossible to file a complaint!!! You are worse than the moving company that caused all this damage!!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:You are going in circles ,you made an offer of $***** to cover our loss. That's an insult and I already sent you the same response to your email asking us to accept the offer.
You are in possession of ALL documents, aren't you? That is how you came to the dollar amount. I will never get back our lost items, I have things that were broken that were sentimental to us. Broken furniture a destroyed brand new mattress, the carrier could care less. How do you with all the paperwork in hand, allow these people Allied Moving Group to do this to people, then you offer $ *****. Then I have to send things to you to prove my damage and all that cost me another $ *****. Being that your website is horrible. (Read other reviews). This move cost me $ 13,0000.00 with on top of that all the damage and lost items, your asking us to re up load all this info again on here? No way, review what is already is in your office. This is ridiculous.

My problems started with the moving company. Easy road moving and storage. They did not deliver all of my items and the items delivered were damaged. I was told to file a claim with moving claims company and all would be taken care of. After months of emailing moving claims my case has not been resolved. I have to follow up repeatedly only to be told they are still processing the claim. This is unacceptable.Business Response

I moved in July, from ***** to ************. The moving company was hired through a broker, who I think grossly overcharged me- I paid almost $15,000. When my belongings arrived to ************ (2 weeks later), almost all my boxes and plastic storage bins were destroyed. I had several damaged items. I contacted the moving company, ******** Express Moving. The lady who handled my billing was made aware of all damages, and photos were sent to her as per her request. She provided me with a contact to initiate a claim for damages. They use a third party business called "Moving Claims" at movingclaims.net. I completed their online forms twice, because the first time the site crashed. It took hours to complete, and I was never given access to the completed claim to print for my records. I attempted to submit my photos and required paperwork in numerous formats and each time they were rejected by that company. I then emailed them requesting a phone call or email for assistance, and to submit my photos via mail if needed. I received no reply. I did very recently receive an email from them stating that I had to resubmit my entire claim all over again because the photos were not received. This is insanity. Damages were over $2,000. I have wasted hours on this and I am given automated responses from their company instead of humans answering my emails and complaints. I don't find it unrealistic to complain and request compensation for paying $15,000 just to have items damaged upon receipt. It is terribly frustrating to have to continue to jump through hoops trying to get my claim submitted. I just don't know what else to do. At this point, I want a refund from ******** Express Moving of $5,000- to cover damaged items, new moving boxes and materials and for what I think is a dramatic overcharge for the items I had moved. I was quoted for less than half what I was charged.Business Response

Please note, while we regret when any customer is unsatisfied with the settlement rendered, please understand that MovingClaims.net is not the responsible party for the outcome of the customer ********************.
We are not an insurance, moving nor repair company, we simply process claims/complaints. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for any actions taken by the customers service provider (moving company).
Upon reviewing the customers complaint it is CLEARLY not addressing our services and involvement in this process. Based on the information provided by the customer, their complaint is against the responsible party, which is their moving company NOT MovingClaims.com, which is the Claims processing company for their moving company.
Due to MovingClaims.net being wrongfully accused, we request to have the above referenced complaint removed from our records, and transferred to the respective party who is responsible, as it proposes an undeserving threat to our reputation, considering the services we provide are not related to the customer complaint.

I am rejecting this response because:
They have not responding to my request for assistance in providing my photos of proof of damage, therefore my claim has been rejected by them. I have received automated responses stating I must resubmit. I have requested a person to contact to assist me in getting those pictures out. Yes, my issue is first with the moving company, but this is the third party they use to submit my claim.that is out of my control and because their site is not user friendly and they do not value customer service and contact those by email..as their website states they would, I now have an issue with them because I dont have a way to submit my claim now.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:Yet again, I have not received any response in assistance in completing my claim through Moving Claims because there is no other option but to file it with them. I have not been able to submit my photos, and requested someone to contact me to assist me in doing so. The information in this complaint is part of my claim.....I have never once said Moving Claims caused the damage to my belongings, but I did say that it was important that I get to submit my claim, get it filed so I can have the cost of my items paid out to me. Moving Claims is making it impossible to submit my claim and actually have it filed with the Moving company. All I want is to receive help in submitting my photos and to have this done without completing hours of forms yet again on their website. If it asked me to log in, my information should be saved and it should be so simple as to walk me through a different way to submit photos and attach it to my claim. Moving Claims has never once replied to my emails other than generic pre-written response. They clearly list on the bottom of their emails to email them, and they would be "happy to assist", yet I have not received assistance yet.
Sincerely,

Dear Valued Customer,
We are pleased to know that you have accepted, signed & returned your settlement letter.
Rest assured that once it has been received by Moving Claims it is immediately forwarded to your moving company directly.
Please note, it is now their responsibility to release & mail your check accordingly. As we are only the claims processing company, we cannot request to expedite their process.
In most cases, settlement checks are mailed out within a week or two from the date the carrier receives the signed release from us. Some carriers have specific dates to issue checks and some carriers mail out settlement checks within 30 days of receipt of the signed release. Moving Claims is requesting carriers to issue checks no later than 45 days of receipt of the signed release. This time frame is an internal requirement and not a legal requirement.Customer Answer

As with other complaints, the moving company I engaged, All Moving Relocation, LLC was a total disaster facilitating my move from ** to OR. They lost many items of mine for a total of $6,473. When I tried to report the loss to All Moving Relocation, they said I must work with Moving Claims, which I have attempted to do. As most others have reported, I have tried multiple times to file my claim online, as instructed, with no confirmations.I've called Moving Claims office and been hung up on.I see nothing left to do but continue to work through the Attorneys General offices in ******** and *******, which I started several months ago.Business Response

IMovers LLC failed to deliver my "Cannondale" mountain bike as it was included in both inventory lists at pick-up on May 14, 2022 and delivery on June 10, 2022. Imovers LLC driver/mover, Erzhan (cellphone: ************) along with his colleague arrived at ************************************************************************ on the evening of June 10, 2022 (Friday) at ~8:15 pm. My belongings were unloaded from the truck and furniture was assembled appropriately for 3-3.5 hours that evening. The movers did not leave until after midnight the morning of June 11, 2022. I did not realize that the bike was not delivered with the rest of my belongings until 2 am the morning of June 11, 2022 (Saturday). I called and spoke with Erzhan at 9:00 am on June 11, 2022 (Saturday) and let him know that the bike was not delivered and to please add this item as part of "item(s) not delivered." He verbalized that he never saw a bike loaded when he drove my belongings from ******** where he picked up the truck and drove it to ***************, **. He also expressed that he will add my bike to the delivery inventory list IN ADDITION to calling ************** (contact: ************) that following Monday to inquire if the bike was left in the warehouse. I have not heard back from Erzhan since that telephone encounter. I called and sent text messages to IMovers LLC on June 13, 2022 (Monday (first work day) after delivery) inquiring about my bike. Please see screenshot attachments of the conversation. The representative had no clue about the location of my bike and it took a few more text messages to get responses from her. I have filed a claim with CSI Keep on Moving (Claim ID: ********* Order / Job No: Al3832211) but the claim was denied. In addition to losing my bike, Imovers charged me an additional $5410.69 from what Allegiance Moving company estimated originally.
