      Business will not uphold contractual agreement of services. -Supposed to be providing weekly service on Tuesdays for cardboard and for Trash pickup. -Consistently misses this **** on a weekly basis. - Voicemails have been left to try and connect with company with no responses ever received. Looking for the business to uphold what their company states and provide weekly service on Tuesdays as the contract states.

      I cancelled my service with American Disposal in early June. On June 3, I attempted to call their support line, but I could not get through and an automated message on their line directed me to email their support address. I did so on June 3. I did not receive a confirmation of this cancelation until June 24. On July 5, I received a bill for the period of June 1 - June 24. I did not pay it and instead sent an email to their support line asking the bill be cancelled because I did not actually receive service between June 3 and 24 -- it simply took them that long to acknowledge my email. I never heard back. On August 4, I received a bill for the previous amount plus $10 due to late payment. I went ahead and paid that **** to avoid the hassle of sending to collections, but I would like a refund of the $36.80 I paid due to American's lack of customer support.

      American Disposal forced me to prepay for services, in this case yard waste disposal. For months, they have not only neglected to pick up my yard waste, they have neglected it for our entire neighborhood. I have repeatedly filed complains on missed services with this company and Fairfax county. American Disposal had lied, in writing, that they will pick up yard waste for weeks on end. They have changed the reason for failing to pick up yard waste every time. At one point, American Disposal called me and addressed my issue by claiming service would resume and I would be getting a refund for the missed weeks. Two months and one billing cycle later, I have no refund. Here is an example email: Notification from: American Disposal Services Dear ********************************* Please disregard previous yard waste notice.We apologize if you did not receive yard waste service this past Saturday, July 30th. Due to labor-shortages, we were unable to complete all our routes before the disposal facilities closed. Please understand we are doing the very best we can to provide all services for all of our customers each and every week. If your yard waste services were not provided, your service will resume on Saturday, August 6th. We will collect up to 20 paper bags and/or personal containers labeled yard waste, as well as up to 20 bundles of brush per home to offset the push in service from last week. Site Name: ********************************* We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience. American Disposal Services Spoiler alert, it's August 14, two Saturdays after their claimed service, and they still haven't pickup up yard waste for my neighborhood. Please help all of us either get consistent service and refunds for services never rendered, but paid for.

      American Disposal Services provides trash collection, yard waste collection and recycling to all the homes in my subdivision of ********* ********. At the start of COVID they cut our trash collection from twice a week to once a week stating that they could not hire enough personnel. Then they mandated that we had to receive our invoice electronically or pay $2 to receive each paper bill. Also last year they apparently purchased new trucks and required each customer to rent a specific trash receptable from them for $7.50 a period. Last year Prince ******* County initiated a new program for yard waste requiring it be picked up separately in paper backs. For that privilege American is charging each household an additional $3.00 a month. Bottom line is that American has over the last three years raised the price of their services to new heights. However, while their price has increased their service has drastically decreased. Today, for the second week in a row, they announced that they were not going to pick up yard waste. This is a common occurrence which they blame on inability to hire personnel or mechanical breakdowns in their fleet of trucks. It would appear that the huge price increases are going straight to their profit line rather than hiring personnel at a decent wage and maintaining their fleet of vehicles. I feel that their business practices are driven solely by profit margin rather than providing adequate service to their customers. I feel that anytime that American fails to provide or is late in providing their promised services, that the customers should receive an immediate credit to their bills without having to call the company to compllain

      Due to ongoing terrible service and increasing prices, I contacted American Disposal to have our service cancelled. I texted/called/emailed and posted to their ******** page multiple times a week for weeks to get confirmation of cancellation. ******** posts were deleted and all other contact remained un-answered. Finally, we got a poorly written email confirming our service was cancelled as of June 30, but they would not issue a refund until they picked up the cans. We were given a date, and set our cans out. They never came. We left the cans out for nearly two weeks then finally stored them in our shed. I continued to follow up about can pick-up and was given a new pick-up date, which they missed. Again. They are holding our refund hostage until they remove the cans, which they refuse to do.

      I cancelled my service with the company and told they would issue a refund in 4 to 5 weeks after they picked the trash bin. They have scheduled me and others in my community and failed to pick up the bins. This seems to be an ongoing issue with this company. Our homes sit up on hills and its hard to pull the bins back up to the home since the bins can't sit out over 24 hours. I want them to send me my refund, as far as the bin they can walk up the steep driveway and pick up by my garage.

      I called the stated number for ******* Disposal Services of ******* multiple times before moving out of a property and left voicemails stating I needed to cancel my service since I would be moving. They never returned my calls and never responded. Months later at my new house I've received bills for a three month period of time after I moved away from the property and no longer used the services. There was no one in the property to provide trash to them and new service was set up by the new occupants prior to them taking possession.

      American Disposal has provided inconsistent service for several years culminating to a pointe where they did not pick up recycling for over a month. We canceled their service and have been waiting now for over two months for them to retrieve their garbage bins. I just want to be done with this company. Ive had to leave my bins at the street since July 15th which is a violation of my neighborhood covenants. I called the company after several days of waiting and was told they would be there on July 29th. The bins have remained at the street since that day which is now 7 more days. I have contacted the company every other day for the last week and was told they entered an escalation to pick them up today- August 5th- but the bins are still here. American Disposal does not perform the contracted services - and now I cant even end the services and they are causing me to be in violation of my neighborhood covenants which require bins to be put away.

      I moved to a new primary residence in early January 2022 and cancelled my residential trash and recycling service on or around January 10th because sanitation is provided by the new city I live in. American Disposal pre-bills for entire quarters (January-March) so I was due a refund of most of if not all of the $48.36 I was charged on January 3rd, 2022. The customer service agent I spoke with to cancel confirmed I was due refund and said it would be processed after my cans were picked ** in two weeks. That representative also asked for my new address, which I gave them, so the refund check would get to me directly.Since that time, I have called and called and called American Disposal desperately trying to get the refund I am owed. At first I was told the cans hadn't been picked up, but that made absolutely no sense and quite frankly it wasn't my problem. I left the cans at the curb and the new owners confirmed they hadn't touched them. American Disposal apparently didn't pick up the cans until LATE MARCH, but promised my refund would be processed right away.Since that time I have called every month asking for an update on my refund. Each representative I speak with says the same thing. They show I am definitely due a refund, my cans are marked as having been picked up, they can't understand why my refund hasn't been processed, and they say they will escalate this to billing and call me back with an update. THAT NEVER HAPPENS! No one has EVER called me back and followed through on their promise. Every time I call it says my refund STILL hasn't been paid out. I don't know what is wrong with this business but the amount of time I have spent trying to get this refund based on my hourly wage FAR exceeds the value of my refund. If I could easily *** this company for the value of my time I would. I feel they are intentionally withholding my money and I have to believe they are doing the same to other customers.

      Account # *********** Due to poor service and non customer service, we canceled our service with American Disposal in March 2022.After numerous attempts through emails and phone calls, we are still getting a **** - it's now August. I have even gone to their office - doors locked, was told they're not letting customers in because of covid and monkey pox.I met with a Shemari ****** ******************************************************** supposed "customer representative supervisor "outside, she spoke with me and my wife (on my phone) and stated that once she received "any" email my wife sent in march cancelling our service, she would personally see that accounting would close our account - nothing due, and that we would hear from her by 4:30 pm that day - 3 August. We have heard nothing from her. Also, they were to pick up our garbage can when we cancelled, they have not. My neighbor took it with him when got tired of waiting (a month) for a new can due to damaged old one. He was told by them that they had the can serial numbers and I would get credit.
