      This has been going on for about 2 years. Earlier, we had service for 3 years with outstanding service. I have a daughter who had cancer. It started when I got my neighbor's trash container (from the left side of my home to the street) in front of my house. Later, the neighbor's trash container ended up in my garage. We sanitize our trash containers because of my daughter's illness. At first, I wrote the Virginia American Trash Disposal POC; I praised the company for the employee's hard work and asked that they place the trash containers originally where they were placed. Last month, my trash container was in the other neighbor's house (to the right of my home). On 26 and 29 June 2023, the situation continued putting the neighbors' trash containers in front of my home. On 3 July 2023, it happened again. I show pictures including the neighbor's empty trash containers after service. I am asking that the employees place the trash containers where they were originally placed. Apparently, it appears that the employees do not care about a request due to family health (cancer) reasons. Please see video and pictures.

      The nature of the dispute is I still have yet to receive a refund from this company. I cancelled this service in April 2023 because they never picked up the trash on time. They pick up in my neighborhood every Wednesday. They are never on time. Each month when I call and ask the reason for the delay, they stated that the driver called out. Therefore, the whole neighborhood has to suffer for then calling out. They do not have anyone else pick up their route. So, when the person comes back from calling out, they pick up their route. I then questioned, well what if the employee calls out for two days. They then stated, they pick up their route when they come back from being called out. I changed my service immediately because I could not take it anymore. It is June 26, 2023 and I still have yet to receive my refund. It has been a whole three months and they still have not approved my refund so it can be sent to headquarters. It's so frustrating because companies are so quick to take hard working Americans money, but when it comes to Americans getting their money back from businesses, they take their sweet time.

      American Disposal Services is contracted by our HOA to do trash collection onve per week. On 6/15/2022, ADS neglected to collect our garbage, which was correctly positioned at our curb. On 6/15, after ADS team skipped our house, I called ADS and reported our missed pick-up. The representative assured me a team would return and pick up by end of day. On 6/16 morning, I called ADS again to report they did not return to collect our garbage. The representative did not apologize or acknowledge the previous representatives commitment to pick up the day before, and said a team would come to pick up our garbage within 48 hours, either on 6/16 or 6/17. No one came. ADS did not provide telephone-accessible customer service on 6/17 or 6/18 (Saturday and Sunday). On 6/19 morning, I called ADS again and reported our trash remained at our curb and their previous commitments to resolve were not fulfilled. The representative assured me a team would collect my garbage on 6/19. No one came.On 6/20, I called ADS and requested to speak with a manager. **** spoke with me, identified himself as a manager and said he was sure someone would collect my garbage that day. He also promised to call me back that day, specifically whether or not my garbage was collected. **** never called back and no one came to collect our garbage.On 6/21, I called ADS multiple times and was transferred to Mark the supervisor, but was connected to his voicemail each time. I left at least 5 voicemails on Marks voicemail service (extension *******). **** never called back. My trash remains at my curb. Bugs and larvae are visibly infesting the top of the can.

      American disposal services regularly misses trash, recycling, and yard waste pickups on my entire cul-De-sac. Since our pickup is on fridays, we have to endure whole weekends with our street looking like a landfill. The most recent missed trash pickup was 6/16/23. The one before was the Friday before the Mothers Day weekend, so our street looked like trash on Mothers Day. American disposal services did not pick up UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY!!!For all late pickups, I demand a reimbursement in the amount of $3,000 per day the trash is not picked up, as this is how disturbing staring at mine and my neighbors trash is for days on end.

      We had this company for a few years in ********, **. Unfortunately, their services were mediocre at best. We had two trash bins (regular trash and recycling), and even though, they were to be picked up on Fridays, it was more of a guessing game. Our bins would be on the curve for 3-4 days, no knowing when they would be picked up. Then, in after the Covid shut down, their services got worse. Their ineffectiveness and lack of organization was outrageous and now easily blamed on ***** and having a hard time finding workers. Many times, I tried to contact them to know when our trash bins would get picked up and could not get any representative on the phone, or when I did I would be given an incorrect pick up day. Anyway, later on, they informed us, that because of staff issues, the recycling would now be every two weeks and no longer on a weekly basis. Though, to mention, their weekly regular trash service did not improve and the weekly calendar days continued. Finally, in June 2021, I decided to end our services with American Disposal Services and contacted them. I informed them that the last pick up they performed for us was their last one and that they are now welcome to pick up their two bins. I was told that on Tuesday, someone will come to pick them up. Of course, on that Tuesday no one showed up. I contacted them again, and was told that the following Friday someone will come to get the bins. Again, the truck came in our neighborhood, to pick up the regular trash, but never picked up our empty ones. I called them again, and I was told that on Tuesday, they will be picked up. That Tuesday, they did. About three months later, I started receiving a bill for $19.08 for not paying for their services. I called them and told them that we do not use them, and the representative told me that it must be an error. But, they kept on sending monthly bills reminder and now sent me to a Debt collector for $19.08.I do not use that company.

      I have had continuous issues with this company for the entire year we have been using them. Within the last 3 months, we have experienced continued missed pickups of our trash, despite following all instructions for pickup. We sometimes get emails that our pickup is delayed, and to leave our trash outside for the next day; it is often still not picked up. My current trash and yardwaste has been sitting for at least 2 weeks, and it is garnering pests. When I send a message through the portal, someone named ********* gives a generic response with a promise that pickup will be handled. It never is. When I call, everyone I speak to is really nice and takes notes, but the same issues recur. I was offered a $5 credit on my next bill once, but that doesn't begin to cover the cost of the new yard bags I have to keep purchasing, nor does it cover the time spent and inconvenience had trying to rectify these situations. I want a full refund of my payment for this service cycle, plus the credit promised for the inconvenience.

      I cancelled recycling in December 2022.They told me they would pick up the recycle bin. Never came, and Ive called NUMEROUS times so they were *** stop billing me for recycling.I totally understand tge labor shortage. However if they do t pick up my empty container its THEIR fault and I should not be billed.Im tired of calling and always having them say theyll fix the issue. They said they are short of workers and cannot keep up. I live in an HOA community so I cannot consistently leave out the recycle bin because of codes.I refuse to pay my next bill if they charge me now 3 Quarters for recycling I dont use.I have no other options.If they cant pick up the empty container then STOP charging me for a service I cancelled 5 months ago.

      I pay this company to pick it my business trash. But this company purposely domt take trash properly. Like they miss pick up trash, or they dont empty container part of the trash remains in the container, since last month they place trash container another business property. Ive called, emailed numerous times but noone cares. They never miss sending monthly bill, and *********** l do my job *** pay them but they dont do their job.

      Rarely picks up trash as agreed. Tuesdays. Most of the time just a day or two behind. Always behind is the problem. Tired of paying an ever increasing bill. Poor service or no service. Only one option in Cobb county **. Buyers remorse , yes only because I have no other option except load my own trailer and deal with animals tearing up the neighborhood.

      American Disposal did not collect our trash for weeks and we cancelled their service at the end of 2022 due to poor customer service and lack of service . We called several times and were promised that the trash would be picked up and never was. They confirmed indeed that our service was cancelled and that they would pick up the trash totes. They did not pick up the totes and we had to beg them to pick them up and after several calls and weeks later they picked up the totes. We continued to receive invoices for 2023 years annual payment in the amount of $173.91 after we cancelled the service in 2022. We kept on calling and they confirmed that our service was cancelled but we continued receiving past due invoices. They also said that they would send us a refund for not picking up our trash for several weeks. Today I received a letter from A.R.M. solutions a collection agency. My Agency Account Number is noted as *********. I am requesting that you contact American Disposal and assist us in resolving this issue once and for all and stop being harassed. and have them send us a written letter that we cancelled our trash service with them in 2022 and that we have a zero balance.
