  STINKS I started this trash service approximately 5 weeks ago in November with them delivering a trashcan for $68. If i could give them a negative rating I would, but I had to settle for a one star. They have picked up my trash ONE time in almost 5 weeks. My trash cans are now overflowing. I cannot tell you how many times I have called and it's the same story, oh you are on our supervisory route and we will pick it up today before such and such a time. It never happens. Everyday I call them, everyday they tell me the same lies. Then they said well your trash wasnt out, making me out to be a liar. My trashcans have been sitting where they are suppose to be sitting for pick up for the last 26 years. Nothing has changed. I am sick of them already. I never saw such a company where you have to beg someone to come get your trash that I have paid for. I would like my $68 back and I will not be using them. This is a huge warning to anyone considering their services and if you dont believe me go read some of their other reviews. I dont know how they stay in business. RUN RUN RUN to another service.

  If I could leave a negative zero I would!!! As a new customer who works in both law enforcement and code enforcement, first impressions mean everything. The first 2 associates I spoke had a positive attitude, and I haven't been able to get them on the line since. The third well.... The issue isn't the customer service, but the fact that my trash has yet to be picked up. For 3 weeks straight I've been having to properly dispose of my own trash with permission from my supervisor. That means I've been having to load trash into my personal vehicle that's not fit for disposing of waste. I will be requesting a full refund immediately during business hours. I've never experienced such lack of service in my entire adult life.

  I have been using American Disposal for a little over a year. The price has gone up nearly every quarter yet pickups have become later and later and or are completely missed. The latest pickup I watched the truck turn onto my road and proceed to pick up neighbors trash but didnt not back up to service mine. When I reached out and asked for pickup, I was told that they have video of my can being serviced yet the same two bags are sitting in the can from Monday night (pick up is Tuesday).

  Horrible service. Used their trash and recycling service for 6 years and pickup was inconsistent if even picked up at all. Cancelled service in October of 2023 and was told it would be a month before they would pick up the bins. This bin pickup has been rescheduled 5 times now. They need to get their cans off my property. It's ridiculous to not provide service I paid for then leave their bins on my property 3 months after cancellation.

  American Disposal is by far the most unprofessional and unreliable waste management service I have ever encountered. I paid upfront and in full to have new bins delivered to my home. They scheduled the delivery of my bins and a trash pick up on the same day. For two weeks, no one picked up my trash or recycling and when my bins arrived they were damaged and clearly used.I called repeatedly to report missed pick *** and each time I was told to give the drivers until 7 PM, that someone would come the next day. It took an additional week to get my trash and recycling picked up. It was so bad, a driver from another company felt bad for me and emptied my trash.Fed up, I cancelled my service and was told I wouldn't receive a refund for 6-8 weeks. I threatened to file a BBB complaint and magically received a refund in two weeks. I was told the bins could not be picked up until about a month later on November 14, 2023. It is now December and and American Disposal missed picking up my bins three times. Furthermore, they had the audacity to send a text stating that if the bins were not curbside on December 5, 2023, I would be fined for unreturned equipment. It's December 5, 2023 at approximately 10:30 PM ET and my the bins are still on the curb. In fact they have been on the curb since November 14th. A piece of advice, DO NOT rely on American Disposal for your waste management needs if you value cleanliness, reliability, and professionalism

  Cancelled service a month ago and they keep changing the date to pick up the bins. I had to make numerous phone calls while still a customer to complain about the driver. One of the incidents. garbage truck picking up our garbage can and he knocked over our full recycle can and contents spilled out. He didnt bother to pick it up. All caught on security camera.

  There appears to be a lot of displeasure with this company. I maybe lucked out when I called today. **** gave excellent customer service. She had to research some of the services the company offered that I needed. When she realized they no longer offered the services, ****, directed me on where to find the help I needed. She was very patient in answering the many questions I asked. Maybe this company needs to let **** train others in customer service.Thank you **** for all your help.

  This company should be put out of business! They are constantly late or sometimes don't bother to show up. The representatives lie and make promises they never intend to keep. The previous tenants in the house next to us left several months ago and they have yet to come and pick up the bins full of trash that they left. After years of dealing with them, we decided to try another company. They are refusing to pick up their bins! It has been weeks! This is very unsanitary and a health hazard.

  I have counted over ************** my sent emails reminding this waste management company that I am not receiving service, I requested to cancel my service, why am I still getting bills, please correct the billing. -They are VERY willing to engage until I produce the cancellation requests forwarded from April/ May in a effort to continuously bill me. -These bills are in clear violation of my multiple requests for cancellation, and I have NO standing contract - each quarter is prepaid - it has also been clearly noted that service has not only not been received but each time the cancellation request, stop for billing, and previous requests for can pick up happens - there is radio silence. -I have called repeatedly and been hung up on twice (just today) by the billing/ accounting department. The email and BBB input is serving as a reminder - and an invalidation of the improper billing/ invoices on a closed account. There is no world in which a customer cancels and non-contracted service that the company can refuse to accept the cancellation by ignoring and hanging up, continue to bill, and attempt to enforce 'collections'.

  DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They do not consistently pick up trash or recycling on the correct day (and sometimes not at all!) and they no longer communicate if they are behind schedule. I canceled my service a month ago and Im still waiting for my bins to be taken off my property. I was told to set them out on a specific date and now theyve been sitting by the road for 10 days. You have to sit on hold every time you call and sometimes the robot just hangs up on you before anyone answers the phone. Ive called twice about my bins not being collected and customer service has not fixed the issue. I would advise signing up with a different provider if you have another option.
