    I got yupp tv and they say they wont refund. I see ton of ppl saying the same and why no one takes action on these customer remorse and reports.Their service is bad and they customer support is bad as well. They dont sympathize with you and say we cant refund and connect to supervisor (no supervisor available without even checking) we checked ur voice recording from past and we didnt promise anything within two mins the agent said he did find it. So I asked him name of person who spoke to me from voice recording he said it confidential lol when he has all my dad cant share the name as he is bullshitting that he got from recording. So I asked him how did u find the recording in two mins n reply and answer I got was when I can yesterday they did find it (the promise was to call me which they never did) n I asked then why did they not call me - no answer at this point the shady person said no supervisor or cant share name. I pushed him for *************** said someone would call me n asked when we have so many customer call for my supervisor (no wonder if they scam ppl like this & offer no refund for poor services). They would say no contract can cancel but wont mention no refund. Very shady business dont recommend n what is way to tie a bell to this cheaty cat

    This company provides a TV subscription to ****** shows (kind of like a ******************** hasn't been working properly for a few weeks or months (not sure when it started).I called and tried to get the service fixed and get a refund for the time when the service wasn't working.Their terms and conditions are extremely anti-consumer:"YuppTV will not refund any unutilized price for any part of the Services. However, termination of the subscription shall not relieve the User of any obligations (including, but not limited to the payment for the Services) as set forth in this Agreement. Cancellations of quarterly, half-yearly and yearly packages with and without Devices shall not be permitted under any circumstances as they are available to User at discounted prices."They are charging me a yearly subscription for a service that is degraded and won't refund me for it. They suggested I spend MORE money to a different device to get their service working. The customer service representative I talked to even admitted that this is a known problem they've had and still wouldn't give us confirmation of a refund. They refused to send us anything in writing with the promises they were making and that we had to trust that they were taking notes on their side for our issues. They wouldn't escalate to a supervisor despite us asking multiple times.The ticket number they gave us was: ****** This was the second time we called about the service degradation and the first time they said the issue was with the app needing to get uninstalled and reinstalled from our TV - even though they admitted on this call that this is a known issue for them.They also said even if we cancelled our yearly subscription they wouldn't refund us any of the money for the rest of the year (for reference the yearly subscription began in May 2023) and that it was in their terms and conditions.So essentially I'm paying for a service that they are not providing and refusing to refund.

    I paid ($89.99) for one year subscription for the basic Tamil package which included (4) ******* Tamil channels (Jaya Plus, Jaya, Jaya *** and Jaya Movies). The subscription started on 1/8/2023. But from 4/1/2023 these Jaya Tamil channels vanished from their service. And they are not working till today(5/2/2023). I made several calls and chatted many times. The agents simply kept saying that it would be resolved soon. But the issue is not resolved till today(5/2/2023)Finally, I gave up and asked them to cancel my subscription and refund the balance money in my account to me. But they are saying that it is not possible to cancel/refund one year subscription. My point is, they should either provide the service as promised or refund the money. They are doing neither. Though I don't want to cancel, I have to cancel the subscription because of their failure to provide the service.     Date of last transaction: August 1st, 2022 Amount of transaction: $99.00 Promised duration for content: Until January **** Receipt #****-9946 I have been a YuppTV customer for more than a couple of years. My latest contract started in August of last year. The package I purchased included SunTV as one of the channels. A couple of weeks back, they stopped broadcasting SunTV. Their US service phone number ************** stopped working. After reaching their agent through their ******** number, I was told they unilaterally changed the plan mid-term. I either had a choice to pay additional money for an upgrade or to wait for a 5-days for a fix. A week has passed and the issue is still unresolved. There is no indication from YuppTV that they will fix it. I think it is unfair that they changed the contract unilaterally and in the middle of the term (the service was paid for until January ****).

    I recently purchased a package from an ****** *** content provider on Jan, they offered me 2 ****** language channels(tamil and telugu) for 140$ per year. Within 2 months one of the leading content provider for tamil and telugu (sun tv) was removed from my package( ************ for around 70% of the package). When I called up I was told that *** had come up with their own platform Nd I had to either shell out another 40 bucks plus the cost of a firestick since smart TV doesn't support this yet, I was also told tmi won't be given any refund since this was a clause in their agreement when I sugned up.     On June 6th 2022, I paid $99 for one year for malayalam tv package. In January 2023, I received an email saying zee channels (zee keralam) is not going to be available anymore. In their email, they mention that they are adding other premium contents but no further update on that. They lied. On April 6th, I lost access to ********* Surya movies, Surya US channels. I emailed about getting a refund for the remaining 2 months left on my subscription but received no reply. They are also not picking up my calls. Yupptv is not holding their end of the bargain. They show a list of channels and entice customers to pay money to access these channels but their is no guarantee that these channels will be available to you. I want a refund for remaining 2 months (April 6th to June 6th) (99/12)X2=16.5
