I have attempted 16+ calls to this company to discuss the tradeline in question, with no avail. I have sat on hold for multiple hours a day only to be hung up on. This account is lowered my score and has severely impacted my life due to the ding on my credit report. I have not received a letter from this company informing of this debt or any type of communication from the company. I do not have a contract with this company. I do not now or have ever had an account with Trident Asset Management . My credit report states this account was opened in December of 2019 for balance of $786 but no account number is listed. I have never received anything about this account. It is my right to receive a notification with contract prior to anything reporting on my credit report and I have not received anything.Business Response

I have one derrogatory **** on my credit report preventing me from becoming a first time home buyer. The amount is $624 from an old credit card that was forgotten about. I was never notified, not once, of the closure of the account or the transition to a debt collector to be able to pay it off in time. I paid this settlement off for my milestone credit card. It hasn't been removed from credit report and I haven't received a letter stating it's been paid in full when I know the account is paid off. This company has fraudulently reported an account to all 3 bureaus with inaccurate information which is a violation to the Fair Credit Act #** I requested this to be removed as I believe that the account was opened by my son ******************************** ******* **. Trident asset management claims I have a balance of $719 from ************* llc.In sept 10, 2021 I got a mail piece from liberty power claiming I had a past due balance on my account.I told the representative that it was my rental property but that the tenants had to provide their own utilities.After further investigation the representative confirmed that the voice on the original electricity request was from someone else who had a completely different voice than I.The representative then closed my account and removed the amount past due from their system.Around july 2022 I saw a collections **** on my credit report from trident asset management. I called asset management and told them what happened before with *************.
