      The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Our vehicle was totalled in a total loss house fire on 3/08. We had to wait to start the gap coverage to initiate until our regular insurance paid out, the week of 4/25. We are now going into month 3, and have had to make additional car payments this entire time, just for SafeGuard to send the check to the wrong address for the lienholder, because they do not keep up to date records (or know how to read letterheads). The entire staff has given me attitude, and been combative. I will be contacting an attorney as I believe this company acts in bad faith, they're fast to take your money, but will not pay out. ****** should sever their ties with this company.

      This review is about GAP insurance the definition of GAP is:GAP insurance, or Guaranteed Asset Protection insurance, covers the "gap" between the actual cash value of a vehicle and the amount still owed on the loan or lease if the vehicle is totaled or stolen. Essentially, it pays the difference if your insurance settlement doesn't cover the outstanding loan balance. Safeguard said the insured amount was not for the entire loan and therefore I have negative GAP insurance.This reason doesn't even fit what the definition of gap insurance ****** don't insure a vehicle for a total loan amount. You insure a vehicle for the value of the vehicle.Per Camping World, who is where the ** was purchased? They return the extended warranty money to the finance company to reduce the amount of the gap coverage?Camping World did not Return the extended warranty money as they said. The total amount for the extended work. He was $4000. Camping world returned $1818 Out of the four thousand. I'm not exactly sure. Safeguard is the only problem that I'm having. I think Camping World also is to blame for this Sirius Blunder. Just going to the definition itself. The gap covers that I was sold. Was not yet covered at all.

      I have a platinum level extended warranty with Land Rover Protection through Safe-Guard Products International. When I really needed them, they were not there. They went as far as to deny a claim because the auto mechanic found an incidental problem. When the warranty company finished with me, I was out ***** dollars. They covered 2 of 5 problems, and I had to fight very hard for the 2. I was very confident when I purchased this warranty. Now I am just disappointed, and I feel robbed. I have no fight left in me. The warranty company wins again. It's never this had for them to get their money, but we make call after call and spend hours on the phone for them to maintain their end of the deal.

      My car was totaled on January 21, 2025. I initially filed a claim with Safe Guard on February ******; I uploaded the paperwork required to process my claim. I spoke with someone on February 18 and was told to allow 2 weeks for processing, each day I checked the online portal for status updates and as of today March ******* my claim is still pending. I am now being told that claims are handled in the order that they are received. **************** representatives have bad attitudes and doesnt want to give updates on the status of the claims and it seems that everyone is trained differently and doesnt know the exact timeframe of when the claim will be processed. This process has been very frustrating and I am not able to get approved for another loan until this claim has been processed. I would like for someone to assist me with getting my claim processed as soon as possible.

      This is a trash company running a scam on every customer. Do not get this coverage on your vehicle because they will not resolve complaints, and they use every trick they can to dodge and avoid upholding their end of the contract. I don't know how this company is still in business this day in age??

      This company is trash and I will tell everyone I know to never do business with this company. I was in a motorcycle accident back last year in July and bought GAP with my bike. Well they cancelled my policy and then took months to get them to reinstate it. Had to call and get the *********************** involved. Now 5 month later they've told me I was denied. This is after no call or explanation I've been logging into their portal to check the status and for two months it's been with the auditor...Took me forever to get them to accept any of the documents that came directly from the police *************** insurance company which total lossed my bike. Reason: denied due to an Exclusion listed on the *** contract

      I cancelled our gap when we purchased a different camper and they didnt refund any of the remaining 2 years of coverage. What a ripoff.

      Fighting a gap claim and they are the worst company in history they have given me the run around and always telling me the wrong information my insurance company wasnt even this difficult to work with and was able to get majority of my vehicle paid off. Highly disappointed as this was a service I had to pay for and was not free all they have done was waste my time and energy at this point and no resolution has come from it.
