1 starFighting GAP Claim Delays: Is Anyone Else Experiencing This?Hi everyone,I wanted to share my ongoing frustration with **** Pure Protection and ***************************** to see if anyone else has faced something similar. After a total loss on October 20, 2024, Ive been trying to resolve my GAP claim, but its been nothing but delays and dead ends. Despite making over 42 calls and sending more than 20 emails since October 25, Ive seen no progress. My insurance company already settled their part, but ***************************** has yet to reinstate my contract or process my claim. With the filing deadline of January 28, 2025, quickly approaching, Im deeply concerned about being left to shoulder the financial loss.This situation feels like a deliberate attempt to delay resolution and avoid fulfilling their contractual obligations. By failing to act in good faith or process my claim in a timely manner, ***************************** is breaching their fiduciary duty and engaging in practices that unfairly disadvantage customers like me. The lack of accountability has created unnecessary stress and financial strain, and I believe its important to shed light on these bad faith insurance practices. 1 starI purchased Safe-Guard GAP Insurance through Banner ********* in *********. Then when I needed to use it they was extremely difficult. For one they requested 10x the amount of documentation that the insurance company requested. Then they will find anything to reject or say they didn't receive. They do this so your stuck making the monthly payment until its paid off. Then when you call in for a update they tell you to call back in two weeks. That has been their response since the claim has been filed back in 9-5-2024 and it's now 12-23-24. What is sad is my insurance company almost completely paid off the vehicle yet the remaining few thousand dollars they will come up with all kinds of excuses why they can't pay. Save your money and the headache by not using this company for any service they offer.Review fromJose D

1 starSafe-Guard Products International, LLC denied a pay out of $698.92 to the bank lender for a car loan the had been declared Totaled by my insurance company. Stating after the insurance payment out and warranty refund there was no benefit to pay out. I paid a $1200 dollars for the peace of mind only to be only to be taken advantage of.Review fromAudrey N

1 starI have been fighting with them since May 7, 2024 to get my vehicle fixed. I have had the runaround until it was finally done July 15th. I was supposed to get a rental car or get a Rent-A-Car and they were gonna pay me back which is never happened because I had to use another car from my parents because I am a traveling nurse and could not just travel out of state with a dealership vehicle. They have been unresponsive and unhelpful, and I would never suggest this to anybody.Review fromEnith R

1 star0 Stars.This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. My car was totaled in July and I had to submit a claim to my GAP insurance since my primary insurance was not going to cover everything. I submitted all my documents on time and I was told on September 12th that It will take 7-10 business days for my claim to be completed. I called on the 9th day and was assured that my claim was with upper management and that it would take ***** hours so I called again after the 48 hours and the agent on the phone said that it actually was not with upper management and that she was going to escalate my claim since it had been more than 2 weeks. I call on the following Monday and still no update on my case. It has now been 15 days and my claim is still not completed. I had no issues with the documents and I was never asked to provide anything else. Every time I speak to an agent they do not listen they just talk over you and repeat the same thing instead of listening. Every time I contact them someone tells me something different they have told me different time frames then others tell me that they're not supposed to give a time frame. The worst company and customer service I have received. I had to purchase this through the ***** but after my experience I will steer clear of this company.Review fromEric P

1 starBad customer service they keep giving me the run around I have sent several documents to them they kept denying it they talked to my finance company directly with me present my finance company sent them the information *** requested two different times and now they are saying my claim is closed because they rejected the paperwork from the finance company that they asked for the information they needed was sent two different times they even read it to me over the phone but still said they dont know the price of the item purchased. It had the purchase price and it had the price after interest and they are still saying they cant use it every person I have spoke with has given me different information each time this is so aggravating and a waste of time and money because they do not want to do their part as a company I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM AT ALL!Review fromRodolfo M

1 starIn 2021, I purchased a car from ****** in ***********, *******, and I also purchased GAP insurance from Safe-Guard Products International LLC. In June 2023, my car was a total loss and I had to contact GAP. I sent all the necessary documentation to prove the need for payment, and for over a year I have been trying to resolve the problem without any solution from GAP, and I still have a bank debt in my name at the bank because of this major failure by GAP, this company that did not fulfill its part of the contracted insurance! I do not recommend this company to people in any way, and I am seriously harmed by the risk of paying a high amount in debt for a car that no longer exists!******************Review fromShenekia S

1 starThis company has been giving me the run around. I have a claim with them because my vehicle was totaled. They did not pay out the full amount because they were trying to say that I purchased an additional warranty. I advised them that I canceled the warranty the day after I purchased my vehicle. They wanted me to send in all kinds of paperwork showing that I cancelled it. I sent them the paperwork that I and the salesman sighed to cancel the warranty. I sent them paperwork showing that it was refunded back to the bank that financed my vehicle. I sent them the email showing that it was cancelled. I also sent them the statement showing the refund itself and the cancellation of the warranty. Yet every time I call, I speak with some of the most unprofessional and rudest customer service representatives who are telling me they have not received anything. The last time I called, I asked to speak to a supervisor and their response was that there is not one available. This company is a scam. After looking at the paperwork for the warranty, I see that it is the EXACT SAME company for the gap insurance, so I really do not understand why they are giving me such a hard time. 1 starI wish I could leave 0 stars! This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I filed my claim in March and I am still waiting for my GAP to be processed. I have contacted this company numerous times only to be told I just have to wait. Every time I call it is same story over and over again. I have even recently been in contact with a supervisor to escalate the claim. That manager assured me before 07/04/24 my claim would be processed. Today 07/05/24 I called and spoke to a supervisor named "****" to follow up about the status of my claim. Never in my life have I had a member of management answer the phone and immediately start talking down to me. He would not allow me to speak with out talking over me and proceeded to tell me my claim was not a priority .I ended up in tears and once again was told to wait it out. 1 starThis company needs to be shut down based on the previous reviews that Ive just read. Looks like they played this game a lot with customers stating that the claim is still being processed and more paperwork is needed every time you contact them they never contact you. You have to contact them or upload your paperwork to them which when you continue to explain if that has been done, they ignore you talk over you very rude disrespectfully stating that they need the paperwork in order to process the claim no matter what youre telling them they could care less if it was done by you or not theres no follow from them or a way to inform you what may still be needed until you contact them and find out that theyve told you something different than the last representative.I was told over a month ago that this was resolved and that it was already being processed and now Im being told today a whole month later that the claim has not been processed and that there is yet again another document needed. seems like this is the way that they try to go around paying the claim or by time to pay the claim not sure what this game is all about but this business should not exist at this point they are taking the customers for granite not caring with the customer has to go through being if they have a car that is totaled that needs to still be paid for while theyre paying for their new transportation to get back-and-forth to work, which is affecting both financially and causing the family stress having to go back-and-forth about the same issue that shouldve been resolved over a month ago pretty ridiculous
