I went to 2 Popeyes location in *********** **.. Popeyes says they offer 20% discount on purchases at all Popeyes restaurants both restaurants would not give me the discount, the managers said there cash registers dont have the button to give the discount..: I dont think this is I acceptable answer to not honor it.. I have called there complaint line with no calls back to me each time they said they will escalate it.. the complaints are filed under my phone numberInitial Complaint

I purchased a chicken sandwich combo thru the Popeyes app and when I went into the store to pick up my order I was told there are out of chicken sandwiches. I told the manager I already paid thru the Popeyes app and asked if she could substitute the sandwich for chicken and she said no. She told me I had to cancel the order online and I explained that I was unable to and she simply said she could do nothing. I want a full refund since I couldn't get food no one is willing to help me.Initial Complaint

My Husband stopped at Popeyes on his way home from work on 7/3/2022 @ 10:11 p.m. I was on the phone with him while he was in the drive thru. He placed his order and she refused to accept the coupon because it didn't have a code on it. So therefore he was charged regular price. He paid and brought the food home. The chicken was old and dried out. I called and ask for a Manager she stated she was the manager her name was *******. I told her what my issue was and instead of understanding she tried to explain how the chicken be when you order spicy. I told her I've ate from popeyes in several occasions and it's never been like this. I was now on my way back to the store. I asked her to refund my money and also showed her the coupon. I too explained gas isn't cheap and we do not stay this way. Therefore she should refund my money and also compensate the customer. I brought the food back to show her exactly what I was saying. This is why I'm so skeptical about restaurants now and it shouldn't be a debate if a customer has an issue.Business Response

I was not going to complain put the more I thought about it the more I got mad. I went to the store in ******* first they were completely out of chicken and just had strips and turn us away at the drive-through because I want to Popeyes and then drove all the way to State line when I got there and made my order the chicken was cold and they were out of fries and just about every other side but mashed potatoes. I dont know what was going on with the store that day but they told us they were not cooking anymore chicken cause I was about to close then I looked at my watch it was only 9 oclock and then I asked them what time they close and they said 10 oclock so by the time I got in the store they had already stopped cooking chicken was only offering thighs very little white meat and wasnt cooking any more chicken they were cleaning up and shutting down at 9 oclock and I guess they was just gonna walk out the door at 10. There was one couple that was behind me they drove all the way from *********** ** just to be told the same thing. I dont know why your stores were out of chicken but I would like to get my money back because it was just one of the horrible experiences that I went through it didnt make sense to me. Ive done fast food for ******************************************************************************************** something the manager was rude and did not care. I drove all the way from *********** **. to not get what I wanted and to be treated rude. an one other thing after the manger pack my chicken it sat on the con for 5 to 7 min and then a crew member walk out of the kitchen and gave it to me. she was very rude and by this time I took my chicken home and heated it up. On Saturday July the 16 2022 I went to Popeye's Chicken in *************** ***** and I place my order through the drive-thru got up to the window pay for my meals which come out to be $20 and some change in the young girl named ****** came to the window hit the pavement gave me my receipt and shortly had me my food and the food was not right she shorted me a whole box of chicken so I told her I said honey you just wrong me up you took my money and you gave me the food but it's not all here she looked at me like I was crazy close the window in my face this ***************** came to the window to try to help me with the situation and she told him to close the window then she took his hand off of a whatever that holds the window up open and the one that's close so I haven't drove on off because it will more cars behind me I went around the building to go inside the building they had locked the door on me so I went back through the drive-thru this time the young man came back to the window and I said here's the receipt I did not get all my food she was started running her mouth in the background so this other girl came to the window and I said are you the manager Awards your GM manager who is your GM manager and I need your store number because I'm going to file a complaint she told me that they store phone did not work I said honey I'm not talkin about the store phone number I'm talking about the number of the store so finally I got my food and this girl ****** still in the back rolling her eyes at me instead of running off at her mouth and I said this is no way to treat a customerInitial Complaint

On June 23, 2022 I ordered a meal from this location via the mobile app but I kept getting an error message. I went to pick up the order and confirmed it did not go through. I ordered the meal through the drive thru. I was told no mobile order went through. I checked my account later and I was charged twice. I contacted customer service and spoke with ******* via email. I provided proof I was charged twice and I was told by her that I would receive a refund within 3-5 days. I never received one. After numerous follow up emails with no response or reply I am here looking for help. Ive attached the receipt, my bank statement showing I was charged twice and the email from Popeyes saying they will refund me. They forgot the fries and I had to go back. Then I realized every tender was spicy.I went through the drive thru because I needed this to be a quick transaction. Going back for fries was already an inconvenience. I was already too far to go back again. On July 9, 2022at approximately ****, I came to this Popeyes to order the exact same dark only family meal I order each time. The manager started cursing saying, we dont do that s*** We dont follow rules other Popeyes follow. After explaining to her that I order the same thing at this location, I stood there waiting on the cashier. When she returned, she stated that theyll do it this time but itll be a wait. The ** with the short black and ***** 27 piece wig, then stated she gon be waiting a long long time cause Im not about to make my **** drop that s*** now. As I waited in the lobby, every crew member that worked this shift, was using profanity and yelling at each other and laughing. On May 1st I went through this business's drive thru. I was greeted relatively promptly with "we will be right with you". There were no other cars in the drive thru. I waited for at least 15 minutes in silence. Trying to be understanding of short staffed facilities I decided to wait. Finally, they were ready to proceed with my order. I began to order 2 sandwiches and popcorn shrimp at which point I was rudely interrupted stating if I was to order more food I needed to come inside because my order was too large for their empty drive thru. I pulled around to speak to my husband that I was going to go somewhere else where I was greeted at my car by the employee originally taking my order. She came out to ask me if I was going to come inside as they started dropping some of order already. I stated if they aren't able to handle my order then I would take my business elsewhere. But the employee assured me they could complete my order as long as I came inside. I went inside and finished my order. Once receiving my food I reviewed what was handed to me and it was missing food. This happened 3 more times before my order was correct. The next day I noticed the facility double charged my card. I went into the store and they told me to send them the receipt in text message to the manager and they would work on my refund. I was told to file a dispute with my bank. My bank said I needed to consult with the business. I filed a complaint with customer service for a full refund in which nobody has called me back. I called several more times in which on June 3 it was escalated to corporate. Corporate still hasn't called me. I need a refund for the double charge of ***** but am requesting a full refund for my food as well for all my inconveniences. Apparently no body has the power to get me to corporate to give me back at least what they stole from me.
