I contacted Equifax on November 4 for the second time asking for an investigation into the reporting of inaccurate bankruptcies on my credit report. Equifax failed to conduct an investigation and they failed to respond within 30 days. I still haven't received the results of their investigation and the information from the courts is different from what Equifax is reporting.Business Response

Recently, I did an investigation on my credit report which caused severe depression upon me an found unverifiable, invalidated , inaccurate, and questionable items that were reporting on my credit report. i reported these items to your agency over 30 days ago to ensure that these items were reporting 100%correctly by the credit bureaus. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, everything has to 100% accurate on my credit report and Under 15 U.S Code 1681a(b) and15 U.S Code 1681(5) these accounts are in violation of not reporting 100% accurate. The credit reporting agencies stated that these accounts previously disputed as being inaccurate were properly investigated and came back verified. ,However, how's this true when there are still inaccuracies on my report? As a consumer, I request to know the steps your agency took to inure these items were100% accurate under 15 U.S.C 1681(7)Method of verification Description of reinvestigation procedure. On (10/05/2021). I filed a police report, requested a fraud alerts, and contacted the federal trade commission of fraud on my credit report. I also contacted(Equifax )through certified mail and the cfpb( consumer financial protection bureau. There are still fraudulent accounts being reported to my credit vm . I have hired a consumer attorney because(Equifax) refuses to remove fraudulent accounts, fraudulent addresses and fraudulent inquiries from my credit report. This agency is Reporting inaccurate and unverified information that is damaging my ability to get credit. I filed a dispute letter on 12/1/22. The dispute was closed and updated, but the information is still wrong and nothing was changed. Nothing was changed and all information is still incorrect as according to the attached letter sent on 12/01/22. *** also complained to the ***** Im requesting they provide all documentation on how they verified my complaint pursuant FCRA section 611). During disputes, agencies are required to verify with the original creditor and provide me with method of verification and documentation of the information given. If they cant provide this, per the attached letter, I want the inaccurate accounts be immediately deleted and the late payments updated to paid as agreed never late as stated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I am rejecting this response because:
they are in violation of Federal law. This reply lacks merit and was lazy at best.
Under FCRA they are currently failing to follow proper debt dispute procedures, furnishing and reporting inaccurate information, and mixing data.
I am requesting a method of verification under the law, FCRA section 611, which states that consider reporting agencies must provide information on how they verified account information.
The information I am requesting is including and not limited to an investigators summary, information on the method used to verify the accounts, who they contacted, who spoke with, applicable dates and times, all documents backing up the verified data, documentation on payment history, balance details, and all records and data accosicated with the account including documents from the Original creditor.
This is requested for all disputed accounts and the student loan disputed.
Additionally, Reporting a collection with a balance due is inaccurate and should be deleted. a collection is a write off on the creditors half and treated as income by the *** when I file a **** forgiveness of debt to recognize it as income. According to FCRA, income is not reported on your credit report.
All of this data is different across the bureaus which is inaccurate reporting, a violation of FCRA, and a violation of my consumer rights under the law.
Refer to the first dispute letter for items disputed and reasons of inaccuracies and update according to the letter.

Dear Better Business Bureau I am writing a complaint about Equifax I have sent a letter on 09/09/22 stating I was having some accounts and information that did not belong to me which I consider inappropriate activity. Hello, my name is ******* ***********************, and Im writing to delete the following information in my file. The items I need deleted are listed in the report. I am a victim of fraud and identity theft and I did not make this change. I now ask that the items be deleted to correct my credit report. I reported the theft of my identity to the ************************ and I also have enclosed copies of the ************************s Identity Theft Affidavit. Please delete these items as soon as possible! Based on, 15 U.S. Code 1681c2 a consumer reporting agency shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt.
