Hello, my name is *****************************. I called ********************** today, 11/22/2022, and I spoke to a representative and I was alarmed and disheartened to discover that 3 accounts that were previously deleted have ILLEGALLY reappeared! Under US Code ****(5)(B)(ii)(iii) any item that was previously deleted cannot be reinserted without notifying me within 5 days and the following accounts are in direct violation of the law and I want them removed IMMEDIATELY! WILBRFRCE UN * *************** DEPT OF ED/GSL/*** * ********** DEPT ED * 87163261PE****** ******************************************** I have asked them numerous times to provide me with ANY AND ALL proof they have of these alleged debts, specifically the original application bearing my signature, and they have not been able to provide such proof to me. Under the Fair Credit reporting Act, these disputed items may not appear on my credit report if they cannot be supported by the proper evidence, 15 USC ****. I am asking that you remove these illegal and falsely reporting accounts immediately as I am in the process of buying a house and my score has SIGNIFICANTLY dropped because ********************** chose to be criminal and cavalier with my life and livelihood. My next email will be to the ****** Attorney General, then to the ************ Judicial system to sue ********************** for its unlawful and irresponsible behavior!!! I have filed two disputes with Equifax dated 8/31/2022 and 10/19/2022 with tracking numbers ********************** and **********************, respectively. I have disputed a medical collection on my Equifax credit report by ARC Management. I have also sent a debt validation letter to ARC dated 8/31/2022 and 10/19/2022 with tracking numbers ********************** and **********************, respectively. Neither ARC nor Equifax has responded to either dispute. Equifax needs to delete this record from my credit file immediately. Equifax is the only credit bureau reporting 2 fraudulent accounts from the exact same bank! Not only are the accounts duplicate of one another and the exact same account, they won't remove this Fraud after already being provided with the *** Identity ********************** Report, AND a fraud letter from the issuing bank. Equifax is required by LAW to remove these accounts since they are in fact fraud. Equifax is in direct violation of the **** and will face legal penalties if these accounts are not removed. The fraudulent account is with ********** Account Number ****************, the bank changed the account number to **************** when they were notified of the fraud, so Equifax decided to report BOTH account numbers SEPARATELY causing me to have TWICE the fraudulent balance and missed payments! On September 11, 2022, I wrote to Equifax requesting an investigation into items on my credit file that were being reported illegally and inaccurate. To date, I have not received a reply from them or any acknowledgement that an investigation has begun. In my previous request, I listed my reason for disputing the information. I have enclosed it again and request that Equifax reply within a reasonable amount of time. I was the victim of identity theft in 2021. Someone filed a fraudulent tax return in my name, and also opened multiple fraudulent accounts. I was going through my credit reports and saw a collection account for a credit card account I did not recognize. The account in question is now listed on my credit report as: ************ 517805XXXXXXXXX. It says the original creditor was **************** and opened in December 2021. This is NOT mine. I have NO KNOWLEDGE of this account whatsoever. It was OBVIOUSLY opened fraudulently. It says the account was open for one month and they maxed out the card and never made a payment? This fraudulent account is destroying my credit and this company refuses to acknowledge the identity theft or error in reporting on their part. Per 15 USC ****, they must remove inaccurate or fraudulent information. This is a violation of my rights. I demand this fraudulent account be removed from my credit report ASAP.Business Response

Hello, my name is ***************************. I recently received a copy of my H3331313036****313434H report. I was upset to find there were numerous collections that do not belong to me. I have contacted the bureau numerous times and I have sent in letters with my drivers license, social security card and a current utility bill. All I have received back is a stall tactic letter requesting me to prove my identity. I have also asked them for a method of verification. I have not received any correspondence other than them stating that the company had verified it. By law, they are required to provide their method of how they verified these collections including any alleged evidence. I do not have a written contract with these collection agencies, nor have they provided me with the original contract with this alleged debt. A few months ago I was notified that Equifax took 62 points from my credit report stating that I closed a finger hut account it reported right behind that I opened a new account the same day. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. So I contacted fingerhut and they told me that they changed lenders so the accounts are named different They informed all 3 credit bureaus that this has nothing to do with their clients.it was an internal lending situation. Furthermore I wake up this morning they have taken 43 more points!!!!! Stating corrections are being made from 2020!!!!!! Adding more negativity!!!At this point Im feeling as if this is something personal!!! I utilize less than 15 percent of my credit, I have a 98 percent payment history, and I owe 0 dollars to collections! No score is part of the credit file and therefore cannot be disputed. Please also note that lenders have their own criteria for granting or denying a service or benefit based upon any particular score.
