    My daughter recently used my card and tried a 7 day trial for one dollar I was unaware of this . I contacted neighbor who and they canceled the membership but did not refund me and I was still charged the $44.86 . I cannot afford this .

    The refund of $44.86 was processed immediately, on our end, however, please note that it may take up to 10 days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement depending on your financial institution.

    I opted for a $1.00 charge on the Neighbor Who website and then I get this charge on my bank account Web Initiated Payment At PayPal Inst Xfer Neighborwho 072922-$44.86 . I DID NOT want to continue this service and only opted for the one time $1.00 charge. I live on social security and really need this $44.86 put back into my checking account (through Pay Pal is fine). I noticed there are a lot of complaints about this website doing exactly this and it needs to stop! Thank you for your help!*******************************

    Thank you so much for the opportunity for allowing us to assist you with this matter.
    I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience.  All of our subscriptions are recurring.  

    The account was created on 07/20/2022 with our $1.00 7-day trial.  
    Upon further review, it appears we did not receive a request to cancel prior to the end of the trial. In that event, your account was automatically renewed to the monthly subscription of $44.86. 
    When signing up for our background reports, the subscription does outline that it will auto-renew until elected to cancel.

    However, rest assured that the account was cancelled and you were issued a refund of $44.86. 
    The refund was processed immediately on our end, however, please note that it may take up to 10 days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement depending on your financial institution.
