      I have used ******** for my credit card processing for several years. I remained with them only for one reason - after inputting all my wine club members info and cc numbers into their online program (Portico) I was told I could not have that information back so I could go elsewhere. (I was told by other processors they were able to get the information and even my *** said I couldn't have it back) The sales *** was terrible! If I listed all the issues I've had with Hartland this review would go past my allotted number of characters. Just last week I was charged $200+ after I closed my account a few months ago. I called customer service (which is terrible) and they had a record I closed my account but told me they didn't close it and they couldn't do anything about the charge! Finally, I got it closed and a refund is supposed to be coming... we'll see. I would not use ******** again even if it was free.

      These guys are pure fraud. Stay away. They will raise your fees, assign random ones. There are much better alternatives out there now.

      I had cancelled my account over 7 months ago and I am still receiving charges and bills from them repeatedly. I received confirmation that the account would be cancelled but apparently someone did not get the memo because they are still trying to charge me insane rates every month. Which their rates are SO much higher than my new company I use, I dont even understand where they get their numbers. Whenever I call nobody can help me or get to the bottom of the issue they just bounce around my call to different "agents". DO NOT USE TSYS MERCHANT SERVICES, they will keep hold of your bank account and keep charging you even after cancelling their services. This has been completely outrageous.

      This is a dishonest company to the core. As a physician I signed up for their terminal and was being charges $197/month. After I left them and went with square, they said I did not notify them and they charged me for 6 years as I did not recognize **** on my bank statement and thought it was for something else. They had my phone number and e-mail address and could have easily notified me that I was being charges $200/month with no transaction. My last card that was processed was in 10/2016 and I discovered this in 7/2024 so almost 8 years of charges for almost $12,000. They made no apologies and refused to offer any refund whatsoever. It doesn't that surprise me that they get 1/5 stars. Its really criminal activity and unfortunately I am very busy and cannot go through every charge and look for this kind of activity, but I now will because of this.

      This credit card card processor is a highway robber. Their goal is to steal as much money as they can from small businesses that use them. They come up with an incredible number of bugus fees such as depositing money in your account carries a fee and so on. The fees total more than 6% of your deposits. If you think about it, on average small businesses may have a net profit of about 10%, if they are doing well. This company take more than 6% of that. That means roughly 60% of the net profit a small business generates goes to a company just for processing credit cards. It is unbelievable that our government allows this to happen.

      Typical horror show with this processor. Fees up to 6% with other bogus fees added without any notice. This month 2/24/24 they added a fee called a Statement Settlement fee. Yup, they used a real estate term to make it sound official. These people are so corrupt it makes you feel hopeless.

      Horrible merchant services company. They add so many fees and don't make you aware. We were charged over 10%! Beware, the increase fees you pay the longer you stay. Terrible, dishonest company.

      They refused to validate my account based on my credit report. They wanted me to screenshot my phone number on my credit report . My phone is correct. I looked at my credit report and propay seen my phone numbers on it plus my name. I called them several times to get validation but they can validate me over a phone number on my credit report. I had to wind up disputing the phone number on my credit report.

      I had to cancel the contract as I was paying 300% more than I used to pay a year ago for the same business and same amount of transactions. I am still getting charged for account even though I returned terminal a months ago and upon calling them they confirmed that they received the terminal, but my account is still active. They are lazy so they need months to deactivate the account at customers costs. Professional thieves

      Terrible ******************* I have been trying to close my merchant account for over a month with no one calling me back and the run-around. After a month of numerous calls and emails, my rep says I will email you the cancellation form. Why didn't he email me the cancellation form from the start?!?!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
