      STAY AWAY- PLEASE FOR YOUR BUSINESS SAKE...You will sign a contract, and agree on fees, but the will slowly raise your fees without telling you or you agreeing with it... the used to charge $19.99 PCI fee.. the national average is $20-$40... with out telling me the started charging $125... the local rep has never called me back or returned my emails, the main office will not call back or return a message. Everything has increased without my knowledge, they started doing this after a class action lawsuit to re coup there losses... BEWARE please share your email and contact info in your complaints so we all can share our stories and team up against a company robbing us with out our acknowledgement and not upholding the contacts we signed and agreed too.my email is ***** @ humboldtrepublic .com share yours also

      Stay away from this company.They are nice when it's time to have as customer but after couples of months they will triple the fees,by adding some inimaginable what so ever and something you can't even make sens ****** paid arround 300/400$ months and they went up to 950 and 1000$ month. Not And at the end they will charge tou for returning the machines and on and on.Do not get trapped in their we have a good service and bla bla bla.Never again global payments or neither moneris.

      We signed up in 2015 and just realized they have been charging us all these fees This month I was charged ****** and we have not used this in the last 8 years. Stay away

      This is the worst merchant processor I have worked with in my 33 years of business. I used them because they were integrated with my EMR software (********** - also a terrible company). Their fees have always been outrageous and their customer service is abysmal. I have changed EMR and cancelled Global payments. on October 1st I processed my last 2 transactions with them. The total of those transactions was $101. My merchant fees for October are $125!!!!!!! I am so happy to finally be rid of them!

      We have been attempting to close our account for 6 months through phone calls, emails, letters. No one would do it after they said they would. Finally, we had someone say they closed it, but now continually being billed. Pretty sad that the customer service rep I just talked to said the only way to stop it is to go to the bank and dispute the charge. This company is a scam. Unfortunately, reading through other reviews it sounds like this is their business model.

      My name is ******* and Im a small business owner that is part of a network of karate schools that use EVO for our payment processing. Our schools are aimed at helping youth learn valuable lessons early on in life. We have been customers for many years We use EVO because the school management software we use requires it. However, we are moving to a new software that better meets our needs plus saves us money, which as a small business owners, is critical to us being able to provide for our families.The new software uses Stripe so we need to migrate from EVO to Stripe. We found out that to do this, EVO wants to charge each of our schools (each with a different mom or dad that owns it) $750 plus $1.25 per card. I was shocked by this because for someone whose livelihood is the school, this is a significant cost. I reached out to some other SMB owners I know and they say theyve done this but the fee was always fixed and less than $400.I was hoping youd be able to help us and myself migrate from EVO to Stripe at a much more palatable cost.Thank you,*******************************

      Their customer service is terrible. No way to get a hold of them through the phone, let alone through email. I've been trying to cancel my service with them and it's been well over a month now after the initial contact where they mentioned it would be sorted out within a week. They lack communication skills and the ability to deliver.

      I am very disappointed and frustrated with my experience with EVO. Firstly, there is a lack of transparency regarding fee increases. There was never any explicit notification of a fee increase. Actually, there is no communication from EVO at all. No communication when your contract is up or renewing. No communication regarding fee increases. While a fee increase was "published" on my statement, as a busy business owner, at a quick glance you would not recognize that there was an increase. This lack of communication is concerning and reflects poor and unethical business practice. In addition, I didn't even have access to my statements until this last month. This is very clearly on record with EVO. My contract states that if the merchant objects to any fee increase, they have the right to cancel the agreement without charge by notifying EVO in writing within 30 days after receiving notice of the fee adjustment. Since I was just able to review my statements within the last 30-days, I requested to cancel my account considering the increase in my fees. However, they claim that this was not a reasonable request and are still charging me a termination fee.Additionally, I am concerned about the discrepancy in the termination fee. My contract specifies a termination fee of $395. EVO is attempting to charge me $495 without providing a clear explanation for this increase. I believe this is unfair and not in line with the agreed-upon terms. My opinion and experience is that EVO operates unethically and is simply money hungry. Their customer service is non-existent. They would rather receive your termination fee than keep you doing business with their company.

      Not good company for small business companies. They look after the big companies only. I don't recommend small business company to work with them
