I have attempted to use my giftcard at two different locations, and been turned down both times. I called Customer ******************** and was told to just keep on trying until I found one which would take it. I asked how many more businesses it had to be declined at before they issued me a new card. They told me it wouldnt get declined anymore. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The agent said they would just tell me the same thing. Finally she did switch me to ******, her immediate supervisor, who told me that I should just keep trying it. He explained that the places I had tried to use the card, the business banks had refused to accept it, and it wouldnt happen again. I asked him why it would be different at other businesses, since it seemed very unlikely I had picked the only two businesses whose banks would turn me down. He sais just keep trying, he could guarantee it wouldnt turn me down again. I asked why it wouldnt. He said because it was the business banks. I adked what would keep additional business banks from refusing it. He explained it just wont. I asked if I could get another gift card. He said no. So essentially he said I should just wander around and see if someone would take it. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He doesnt have one. Apparently he is the sole person in charge of the company, but cant give his last name. He did give me the address of the company so I could contact BBB, and if I use this card one more time and it is declined, I will file a complaint with BBB.InComm Financial Services

Please do not purchase ******* gift cards, it is a SCAM! In April 2023 I received a $50 gift card that I was unable to use, all transactions were declined. I contacted customer ********************** who told me I needed to send a copy of the front and back of the card to verifiy it was issued on a US bank. Didn't hear anything for months called back and was assured the card was good. To this day cannot use the card and Vanilla will not issue a new card. Customer ********************** is rude and incompetent. This time they told me I have to provide the receipt. These cards are a SCAM!InComm Financial Services

I purchased a Vanilla gift card from a local grocery store in December of 2023. I gave the card to an employee of mine as a Christmas gift. He went to use it and there was no balance on it. I called vanilla and they sent a replacement card to someone else in a different city without verifying they are the original purchaser. I've called numerous times to get a refund and went through all the steps they requested. I was finally told, after jumping through all the hoops, that the refund process would take up to 90 days. It has been almost a full year, and over the 90 days, of fighting this. I WANT MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!InComm Financial Services

Awful I got a gift card yesterday for a birthday and no one is able to help me out. I submitted a case and supposedly it will be completed in ****************************************************************************************************************** their customer **********************. This is beyond horrible how can I spend the money I was gifted???? I need answers this is the worst customer ********************** and a giant scam. Buyer beware they do nothing to resolve anything, if you got a scam card you are screwed. Tried going to ********* with the receipt and they said to call a number, the number just tells you to submit a case which I did and you cant actually talk to a real person awful!InComm Financial Services

Received a $100 dollar ************ gift card. It has been months and I'm still unable to use this card ANYWHERE. No merchants accept this card and all transactions are declined. I have been contact with customer ********************** for weeks and they are the worst. It is such a scam.InComm Financial Services

If I could give no star I would. The gift card I got as a gift had the numbers ripped off by the packaging. The packaging encases the card fully so youd be able to tell if it was tampered with. For a gift card with $50 on it I would literally have to wait 30 days for them to do an investigation. I asked if I could transfer it into an e-gift card and was told no. Im sorry Im not waiting 30 days for $50 dollars. Also customer ********************** is an absolute joke try to get a *** on the line. Never again, I will also be telling everyone to never buy a vanilla gift card.InComm Financial Services

I received three Vanilla Gift cards for my birthday; all from different individuals. The first one I used without a problem; I think because I activated the card on the phone. The second gift card I activated it online and went to the store 30 minutes later and the card was declined and would not go through. I went home and called the number on the card and the representative told me that the card had been compromised and they would send me another one. He asked for my name, address, etc... Now that I have spoken to several people at this company, I think that was an HORRIBLE idea to even give them my information. When I got the replacement card in the mail, I attempted to activate the card, they immediately forwarded me to a representative, and THAT representative told me that the card is on HOLD and I would need to send a copy of my government issued identification to verify my identity. If I am the person who can identify where I was when the card did not go through and you mailed me another card; who else would have the card. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THE SCAMMERS.InComm Financial Services

In the last 24 hours I purchased 4 online vanilla gift cards. 3 from the target website and 1 from the vanilla website. All Four went on hold when I attempted to put it through the same online website. ( The cards were not on hold till I attempted to use for the first time, I watched all four status change to " on hold " when i attempted to use for the first time) I have purchased these gift cards for the last 4 years and have spent a hundred thousand or more on vanilla gift cards. All are used for the same purchases on the same site. Now all of a sudden the last four are compromised. I don't want to buy another one, it will just be put on hold again. NO one at the Customer ********************** number can tell me why ? I asked for a manager and they refused to put one one on the phone. They just say that the card has been compromised Which is totally false. I used these cards within a minute of receiving ( For the last four) years .I want my cards removed from hold . I dont want to wait 30 days to get a check in the mail. And I shouldn't have to provide my drivers license ,and am very uncomfortable sending online to someone i don't know physically. I want to be assured that if I buy more the same thing wont happen , the last two cards i called on, both **** hung up on me, Because I told them i need to know why and I was a very good customer. ( i explained its four cards, and that I was concerned, and said all four were not compromised. )I am sure this is a new security feature, and I am out money and time because of it. Its not coincidental that the only card I was able to use was the one I added to my apple wallet . This is how I know its Incomms security feature and not that someone hacked 4 separate cards i purchased online. from different companies at different times.InComm Financial Services

This company is horrible to work with. They are a scam for sure. I received a gift card for Christmas. Right after Christmas I was diagnosed with a highly aggressive cancer and had to undergo treatment. When I was well enough in July I opened my card and went to activate it. Found that it was already activated that someone kept trying to use it at ****** then finally go them to approve transaction for S&L Carriers for $159 all on the same day. When I filed the dispute I didn't hear anything from them. Sent multiple emails and called the number several times. I received a new card in the mail and the balance was what it was when I filed the dispute. When I called they told me the time frame was up and that they would not refund the money. Then someone put my card on hold again and told me I had to file another dispute. So I did 45 days later no word, I called they said they rejected it again. Told me to call back with card number so they could reissue me another card. So wrong on so many counts. Someone needs to look into this company.InComm Financial Services
