1 starWe had noticed a big noise by water pump right after we moved in. We informed to construction manager who poorly installed pipe in outside to drain the water. We have the same noise bouncing back all house within 1 year after raining and couldn't sleep in bedrooms. The technician advised that we have to change water pump but Pulte customer care said that it is not covered by warranty and rejected to fix it. It just proved that Pulte builder didn't have enough experiences to know which pump they can install and terribly built the new home without considering any noise issues.Review fromChristopher R

1 starWe were so excited to move into our brand new home. That lasted all of a week after closing. The subcontractor work is laughable, we call our own home "a paper straw house" because of how awful the work was. The landscaping crew (if you can call them that) did zero prep work before literally just throwing poorly-sourced sod down. Even the pine straw beds are just ungraded clumpy red **** with construction trash mixed in. The yard was not graded properly AT ALL and will be a pain in our side but luckily for pulte, they designed their warranty to not have to do anything but sit on their hands. I have emails stating the yard needs correction dating back to the month we moved in. Pulte tried to blame the fence we had installed TWO MONTHS LATER from original complaint. I cannot overstate how much I do not recommend this builder, it is pathetic.Review fromMike V

1 starA fortune 500 company built on cheating and lies! I am a Pulte home owner in *********** **. This company has done nothing but lie to us and then threatened ** into buying one of the absolute worst examples of construction I've ever seen, and I've been in the construction trade for over 30 years!!! Quality is nonexistent, workmanship is on par with a 10 year old, we paid for upgrades then are told they're not available any more. Then they try to upcharge for the down grade. I'm so thankful that my wife reads every word of everything... she caught them in countless lies during the build. The Finishes are terrible, the drywall is worse. They promise to fix everything then send in the most unskilled workers to just make the problem worse. They claim that it's up to the standards and won't do anything else. I assure you that no new home owner has this low of standards! When you keep pressing them they stop responding and send you to the legal department.. the bottom line is, DO NOT EVER BUY FROM PULTE! Every promise they make is a lie and they will cost you a fortune!Review fromCharlie P

1 starMaster shower drain leaked into garage causing water damage. House is only 8.5 years old. They said they only covered leaks for 5 years. The drain was improperly sealed. Pulte used to be a name I could trust, but not anymore. There have been other issues with the house as well. Very disappointed in the product they are putting out there.Review fromAnthony L

2 starsPulte group has a very poor customer service. We tried calling customer service only to get voicemail. I left 3 voicemails and no one called me back. I then called the salesperson for help. I then spoke to customer service and explained the issue. They scheduled an appointment. No one ever showed up. Tried contacting pulte again and as usual no call back after leaving voicemails. We had other issues, but pulte tries to avoid correcting issues.Review fromMary M

1 starMy new construction home in ***************, *************, ** was fraught with problems - uneven foundation, sloppy redo of the interior paint and trim, nail pops and drywall separating, crooked window framing, ill-fitting doors and sliders, broken roof tiles, slanted cabinet shelves, HVAC dampers that were completely shut off to the front of the house. There was no attention to the detail that one would expect in a $800K home. The Pulte Service Team and the rep assigned to me, had vendors come out 3-5 times to fix the same problem. There were always band aid fixes. My dining room shade valence is noticeably separating from the window frame. Pulte's answer was "since this is a 5/8" variance it is in our level of tolerance." My real beef with Pulte is ***************** and unethical behavior. 1) There was sand in my water pipes, to such an extent that it ruined my shower valve, kitchen faucet and refrigerator valve and filter. My ice cubes were brown. I also had major surgery soon after I moved in and had surgical drains. The shower water was slimy, and I could not figure out why. It took Pulte 4 months to correct this problem. 2) There is STILL sand and soot coming onto my kitchen range through the hood. I cannot cook when this happens, Pulte sent their vendor 4 times and never fixed the problem. They refuse now and say I am past my warranty period, even though the requests were made before the expiration. 3) The brown facia on the exterior of my house is spotted with grey. I was told since there was a lot of rain around the time I moved in, this is considered an "Act of God" and they won't repaint. The rain was AFTER my inspection. 4) Pulte put many disclaimers in the closing documents: one of which - the area was in a wind tunnel and the sandstorms could cause property and personal harm. It is too bad they didn't have the real estate salespeople disclose this during the purchase process. One would have had time to consider the risk. BUYER BEWAREReview fromGregory G

1 starWe love our new home in *************, but have a horrible HOA , we submitted all the landscape documents and they turned it down, we did the exact same plants, rocks, trees as many of our neighbors have. This is what I do for a living. Feeling very disappointed in Del Web *************. We were told one thing and it was all untrue. Be careful when dealing with Del Web ************* power hungry HOA. And we have spent well over a million on the property.Review fromRod K

1 starWe build our home in DelWebb and close in 10/21. We have issues with air flow to back of the home. Added extension to our gathering room on new model Contour. As to this date we are the only one put the extension. Finally after 6 months calling, texting and email our customer care person the **** ********************** installed another run. We ask Pulte to touchup our attic insulation after the **** company disturbed the insulation. If we would ever sell this home and the new buyers get inspection they will write up low spots.Pulte turn us down of our request. This poor customer service and standing by there product. Very Very unsatisfactory customerReview fromJordan J

Needless to say, we never even got through the home building process and decided to terminate our home purchase agreement, even after engaging legal services and determining we would lose our $10k deposit. The entire process has been disorganized with tons of misinformation, attempted additional charges and predatory practices. Our process started out ***** as the first pieces of misinformation came with the incentives being offered for the community we were interested in, as well as the type of community (natural gas vs. electric). My parent was told by a sales consultant in writing $40k in incentives, however the sales consultant we were assigned told us $30k. Asked about the discrepancy, our ** blamed the entire situation on the other's incompetency. The next debacle came with the ** improperly selecting the structural options within their system. We had selected a 3-car garage w/ service door and to convert the tandem garage into a flex room ($4,800 total). After "submission", they came back and said the structural form was incorrect and there would be an additional $4,100, in addition to the service door not being an option with the 3-car garage. Immediately annoyed and refused to pay for THEIR INCOMPETENCE. The design studio appointment went great, however it was a hassle getting in contact with their 3rd party security provider as our ** never providing the structural plans to them (Note - completing all design phases in the specified timeframe was required to stay in good standing for the $30k incentive). After 4 change orders, we finally had the design finalized. Then absolutely NOTHING...FOR MONTHS. We could not shake the feelings and the constant incoming negative reviews, so we decided to terminate the agreement. The ** told us we would not be getting our deposit back. Their reasoning was that because we had a pre-approval with their preferred lender, that made it a hard-binding non-refundable deposit.Pulte Group

1 starI will keep it brief given everything said in the other 1`65 reviews covers it. This company is horrible! They are definitely one of the worst builders I have seen. Don't be fooled by the alternative name they put on their models DelWebb is Pulte. Do not buy a house from them as you will regret it. The whole experience working with their so called after purchase support team is a nightmare. I have had my home for a year and a half and have a long list of issues that are now out of warranty. They don't deserve the one star I am giving them here...there should be a zero option.
