Was under contract and building a home at DelWebb Oak Creek in *************. The contract stated in 2 places that I was to have high impact windows. They were not installed and they refused to honor the contract and correct the issue.

Be Aware that there is no SEPARATION OF POWERS in the Pulte Group this allows them all the power and control. This also means that they maintain plausible deniability for things when they aren't done right. The buck literally stops nowhere...Poor management, Incoherent communication, Incompetent Employees and Uncertain Deadlines have made our experience exhausting. We are in DAY 66 and counting on a warranty issue. The trade partners blame one another, Pulte employees have little to no experience of the construction materials and process. I have literally had to manage them without compensation. I have reached out the *** and the ** and have been ignored or passed back to warranty. They boast of a BQE (Build Quality Experience), but it is missing one key component and that is INTEGRITY.

Much the same comments as below. Getting warranty work performed is impossible. Closed 10 months ago and still trying to get flooring repairs completed. Totally incompetent.

BUYER BEWARE. Do your research first. We came very close to singing up for a new single family home in the new over 55 community under construction on the former **************** located in ******************, **. I would like to thank the BBB and the other many contributors that put the information and horror stories out to the public; We visited the sales office three times in the past two months, but the price kept going up. I was able to track down three of the authors of the many reviews and videos posted on line, and determined the reviews were accurate. Unbelievable, but true. Pulte used to be a great company that delivered great homes, and I have spoken to a couple of people that have purchased three new homes from them in the past. The quality, honesty, and promises they make are products of the past. After over fifty hours of research and conversations with Pulte home owners and local officials, I could not live with myself if I did not post this advice. if you are looking for a new 55 and over community in ******************, Pulte *************** is about the only game in town. Like the computer said at the end of the movie "Wargames"--the only way to win is to not play the game...

A Home buyers NIGHTMARE! I am beyond exhausted trying to get my blue tape items handled and Ive beware living in the house for 5 months! I cannot get anyone to call me back, come out and walk the property with me or even act like its a concern to them. I get that I didnt buy a $1,000,000 home but is a BRAND new home and it looks like it was crafted by kids. Everything from the crooked windows, the painting of doors (including my front door AND garage door) the caulking around the showers, my driveway/concrete pouring job, the floor boards that arent even nailed down, the toilet in the downstairs bathroom, my wooden fence, the electrical switch in my living room that for some reason turns on the bathroom light and fan! The list goes on and on! I was told it will be handled upfront and do not worry its been 5 months and 1 item out of the 27 I added to the portal has been addressed! No one cares now that I closed on the home. During a time when rates were low and home prices still cheap these employees all got complacent, comfortable and just expect to use their power and name to make us customers just deal with it! The quality of the home is by far the worst Ive seen, and more importantly the lack of communication, no responding and failure to follow through with what they said they will make right is was has driven me here after 5 months of chasing them around for help! Nothing has seemed to work and Im sure they wont dare respond to this or come walk my property with me. Any executive or manager would be ashamed of the came to my NEW HOME I have expressed this to my neighbors and many have had similar responses and experiences with this builder! I DO NOT recommend buying a Pulte/Centex home. Please reach out to me Pulte if you want to schedule a walk around my house where you will find the poorly finished product of which you call and I quote skillfully built by our *********** home builders

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the quality of craftsmanship in my new home in **, which was built by Pulte. Some of the specific issues we have encountered water flooded about a quarter of our back yard. Well, water did not recede for more than 72 and started to give an unpleasant smell. After much insisting and many requests they did french drains on the sides of the home, since water was accumulating and taking longer than 72 hrs to dry out which is what they said is normal. This repair had its negative consequences as workers broke the main water line and banged up and dented the air conditioning unit. our windows seem to be of poor quality, Since we have been in the home, three windows have had to be replaced due to seal breaks and the gas coming off the glass and also the window frame are starting to break. we paid extra for the appliances to be upgraded. our oven-microwave combo was not working properly and after calling whirlpool because they told me I needed to call myself Whirlpool directly, I spent hours trying to figure out on the phone what was wrong. We figured out that the computerized parts were not functioning and needed to be replaced. we paid extra for our floors upgrade and a year later it needed to be replaced due to a defective tile and potentially bad installation; We are without a doubt grateful for them replacing the tile under warranty but the process of them doing the replacement has been a challenge. As a homeowners, we wanted to make sure the tile was installed correctly, so we requested for them to remove the baseboard trim since it was the best practice that all floor installer professionals that we consulted with indicated, but they said no.We feel that we have paid a premium price for a high-quality home, but instead, we have received a substandard product. This is rather something that is expected from a builder that its advertising quality craftsmanship and does not enforce good quality work.

After being in our new Pulte home in ***********, ** for 14 months, we still have major issues that were on our list of discrepancies at closing. We have worked our way up the chain of command within the past year to include the Area Construction Manager at ***********, Vice President of Construction Operations, President of ********* Division and Corporate Headquarters and it still seams like I am being blown off. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a Pulte Home. If you do buy a Pulte home, hire a house inspector before sheetrock, before closing and again for the one year walk through.

Pulte Homes has taken the good name of *************** and totally DESTROYED it. Its truly a shame. They have built a series of homes that are SO SUBPAR and backed this with the RUDEST, MOST PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE staff Ive ever known.Weve had multiple problems with our home ( as have countless other unfortunate people) and have been met wit ****, insulting and downright HORRIBLE customer service. I guess their thinking is: Intimidate the homeowner into submission and theyll go away! The ONLY way to get anything repaired is to threaten legal action. Anything less, and theyll continue to BEAT YOU DOWN!!!Wish I could leave a MINUS STAR!!!Shame on you, Pulte!!!

One of the worst, most arrogant, most incompetent companies that I have ever dealt with in my life. Run away from these crooks.

We bought our first home as a pulte new build and it has been the worst experience of my life. I paid $375,000 for this house and there are so many issues. We closed on the house on 2/10/22 and it has been a nightmare. We have bent trim almost throughout the entire house. There are patches in the ceiling in multiple areas where they did a c*** job fixing during building and the repair reps ******** is that the only way they can fix is is to redo the entire thing and it would cost too much of "their" money so it is what it is and I just have to deal with it. We have poor draining from the side of our home so there is constantly standing water on both sides of our home from poor grading and the builder states there is nothing they can do and that a French drain is not their responsibility. I would never buy from this builder again. There are items I brought up at our 90 day that were never fixed and that agent got fired for not taking care of anyone and the new guy came at our 11 month and said these things should have been brought up at our 30 day. I told him that I did but it never got taken care of and he said that ***** and moved on. I'm so passed at the amount of money I spent for this matchbox house. I highly recommend you never buy from pulte or any of their subsidiaries unless you want a house that is built terribly and cheap.
