1 starAfter reading the numerous complaints of Pulte group, homes. I totally agree that they are a faulty company. I purchased my home in 2015 and from the moment I moved in it (started with a crack on the driveway). I was told that that was common when I put in a work report to have that fixed and you should see how they fixed it. A child couldve fixed it better. I have cracks in my ceiling and continue seeing new cracks daily also along the walls as well. Nails are starting to protrude from the ceiling. There are separations between the ceiling and the wall! The walls are buckling in various places in my home and all through the day and night you can hear the foundation literally moving! One night I was startled by a tremendous pop and right then I knew it was my foundation despite what Pulte says. I have had some drywall issues repaired, but to no avail they came back within a month. I complain so much that Pulte dispatched a company that works with them or for them (?) out to conduct what they called a foundation analysis. The company (M/// engineer). Reported their results to Pulte, which reported to me that it was not the foundation, but the soil underneath the foundation. This is so senseless to me, because if in fact, it is the soil. then that would make the foundation fail to do its job properly. I have called several foundation, repair companies to come out and give me an estimate. They wouldnt even come out and said that they wouldnt even touch it, because its still on the warrant! They did say that with everything I describe to them (it was definitely the foundation!) I only have a few more years until my warranty is up and I think this is a way that Pulte is stalling so its not liable to fix it. Why have a warranty when its useless and they wont honor it! Meanwhile, my house is sinking and shifting. Now that the walls of buckling, its literally caving in on itself!Review fromJudy S

1 starAWFUL COMPANY. ***************************************************** are HORRIBLE human beings to work with. They do everything possible to go around being a fault for a warranty issue. You NEVER get to work with actual construction workers just the customer care mangers telling you there right and your wrong! All of this is wasted time anyway, You've wasted an entire week of our lives having your "expert" framer come out, and your concrete guy come out, all your people under contract with your company. They've all either not said anything that made sense, or didn't really come to any conclusion. Every person you've had out to our house has had an immense bias in your favor. Every 'expert' you've supposedly shown a picture to, hasn't been on any kind of email chain with me or even been to our house, I have no clue how you explained the situation to them. All in all, this wasn't really a fight you were going to allow us to win. I knew that from day one. It was never about "holding framers accountable" per ******, or making sure our house is structurally safe, it was about finding whatever you could to use concrete as a get-out-of-jail-free card. You told me today that it didn't matter if the door was installed right, it could be held up with magic, it's still the concrete's fault. So that's that! You don't have to continue to try to find ways to defend how those guys installed our door, you don't have to tell me that you're in our corner. Just acknowledge that you don't follow manufacturer specifications if it saves time and money! It's cool! With the amount of time all you people have spent scheming on this issue, you probably would have saved money and reputation if you just fixed it in the first place. Or better yet, made sure the framers read the instructions the first time. You definitely didn't save us any money on our heat bill either.Review fromCarltone F

1 starBroken Garage Carriage Light Fixture - Resending - Letting corporate management know that ******* and **** lack of communication and follow through with issues coming up at the house that we closed on May 30, 2022. **** did NOT note many of the items that are wrong with the house and specifically, did not note the garage door light fixture. We had to bring that up to him. **** specifically stated (after our 15 minute quality walk through) that we will see many things wrong with this house that need to be fixed and to just call customer service to take care of any issue that comes up. When we did call customer service, they tell us that **** did not note anything other than dry wall and kitchen cabinets to be fixed (kitchen cabinets are scheduled for Jan 10, 2023, with no one coming to fix since closing of May 30, 2022), and in order for the carriage light to be fixed **** has to note it, otherwise its not Pultes responsibility. This seemed more like a tactical deception to us rather than customer service.??******* came to the house and looked at all the issues and seemed very receptive and supportive with all of our concerns. With regards to the carriage lights, she first stated that she was looking for another light fixture to replace the broken one, so we waited. Then she indicated that she needed a time stamped picture for documentation purposes, which we happily provided and we again waited, then finally she stated that **** was never aware of the dent and that Pulte will not be fixing the ************ note, this was back in November 2022 around thanksgiving. How can **** NOT be aware, when he and the trade reattached the detached carriage light? Pictures were requested and sent. These pictures were taken on July 29, 2022.The trade from Pulte came and attached the carriage light but did NOT fixed the dent.We are and have been requesting for Pulte to schedule a date/time to complete the fix with absolutely no answer from Pulte.Review fromJohn C. 1 starFaulty drywall. Nail pops. Huge separation between walls and ceilings. Zero craftsmanship. Need repairs almost everywhere. Home was "built" in 2019 - Built in parenthesis as this house is in rough shape. Cracking drywall in both the walls and ceilings. Pulte Homes stiff armed me and provided no resolution when filing a repair request through portal. Brand new ***** + sq. ft. homes with bad dry wall install. Just a couple years and the home looks horrible.Review fromchris c

My brother, who is deaf as is his wife, have entered into a purchase agreement with Pulte homes and their agents to buy a home in *************, **. They are to meet to do a walk through where the builder's representative is planning on showing them the details of the home's amenities and operational capabilities of the features within the home. My brother has asked for an interpreter for this meeting which, according to the Pulte Home's representative, will last between 2 to 3 hours. He was told Pulte will not provide an interpreter and if my brother feels he needs one, the cost is his to bear. Putting aside the ways to avoid the ADA ********** of providing needed accommodations for those with disabilities, it appears that Pulte has neither the ethics nor empathy for people who cannot communicate using verbal communication. Unless this issue is resolved prior to December 16, 2022, my brother will likely have to pay for an interpreter to ensure he fully understands what the Pulte representative is telling him and his wife. I guess paying $375,000 plus for a home from Pulte doesn't justify accommodating people with disabilities. Just because you can avoid what ethically should be obvious, doesn't mean you should. This is just a single example of how large businesses ignore the needs of the few in order to maximize profits. Their website states that in 2021 they did **** billion in sales. Apparently, the cost of an interpreter for upwards of three hours could put a noticeable dent in that figure and the picture of fatigue on the faces of the ***** of ********** That's conjecture on my part but why then would they balk at ensuring deaf people will understand the benefits of their homes. When you are looking for a new home, consider how the builder treats the vulnerable among us. Those literally without a voice and who cannot hear the spoken word. Then ask yourself this, if they don't meet the needs of the few, do you think they will care about your needs?Pulte Group

Can you please provide your brothers name? Working with local leadership is the best way to get any issues addressed. I have provided the ** team contact information below for your reference. ******************************************* **************Steve S.

His name is ******************************. After forwarding information relating to the *** requirements requiring the use of an interpreter for the deaf at not cost to them, a representative replied that they are working to provide an interpreter for the meeting. I am withholding my withdrawal of my complaint until I am sure he is not charged for this service. I should not have had to push to get this done.Review fromCheryl S.

1 starMy experience with Pulte/ DiVosta has been on going since April 2022. My home wasnt complete after a 3 plus month delay. My punch list has over 100 items still needing attention including the roof, plumbing, electrical, grading, tiling, and countless cosmetic issues. I have written to the President of customer service (*****) and the *** (****) and still cannot get the items completed. I was left to be the contractor for my new build custom home. They have done nothing to compensate me. Many of the owners have had similar problems. The quality is subpar at best. If you purchase a Pulte/ DiVosta home be sure to have an attorney on standby.Review fromMichael N

1 starThis is the worst company that I have to deal with. Its all about taken money from an honest working person. I made a deposit of $3000 and $1200 upgrade for the house in *********, ******. After several months I received a letter from a sales manager, ************************, indicated I broke the contact which I never requested. Being trying to get a hold of her but never call me back to find out what happen or it can some misunderstanding. Just email indicated that Im no longer pulte customer and cant talk to me. I felt very bad and cant sleep several nights thinking about the way I was treated. This is outrageous customer service from a sales manager. She wont give my EDM BACK saying Im no long a customer of **********************. If u thinking about doing with pulte. I highly advise to rethink about it.Review fromKevin F

1 starPulte has failed over and over again. I have broken items warped cabinet doors installed nails and screws coming through cabinets and to top it off I was to receive a refund from a range I ordered and cant get and now they are telling me I need to sign paperwork in order to get refund, but the person that handles that is incompetent. I purchased a new range and still waiting for paperwork in order to get funds returned. If I would have known about PULTE HOMES i definitely would have chosen someone else. POOR COMMUNICATION FROM BEGINNING TO PRESENT..stay away from this company.
