Orkin Pest Control billed me $189.41 for spraying my yard. This amount was more than my electric bil. I have been a good customer for years and never been billed this much. I feel that I have been taken advantage and used my banking information to make money. After all these years of being a good customer I know that I have been scammed.Business Response

Unhappy with services. They have attempted to come out and fix. Still no change to pest problems. Contract states there is a money back guarantee and when I mention it they push me around from manager to manager. I would just like to cancel services and them honor the money back guarantee in the contract. Im also being charged more than what I was quoted. Hello, I had Rollins *************** at ************************************ last month. I cancelled my Orkin coverage for this property three weeks ago. I've contacted the Pensacola, FL ************ and have spoken with ******** a couple of times requesting an update for my refund, as I'm due a refund for early cancellation of service; she confirmed I'm due a refund. I am requesting my refund immediately; to the best of my knowledge, it has not even been mailed. Three weeks is far too long to be waiting for a refund.Business Response

I used to have a contract for regular Pest Control with the ************** When it became apparent that I will be renting my home out and moving away, I informed ***** of cancellation of my contract. *****'s representatives instead failed to cancel my contract and continued charging me a monthly fee. When I made the customer service representatives aware of this, they ignored the issue, failed/ignored my request to cancel the contract, and continued sending letters and threatening voice messages and many calls. I felt harassed and intimidated and stopped responding as this issue is triggering my PTSD. At this point they turned me over to the 'Rollins **************** which I understand is a ****************** This agency to this day continues to send me letter demanding a payment of $204.18.Since I cancelled the contract, and there were no penalties in my initial contract for cancelling early, I ask, kindly, for Orkin, LLC, a subsidiary of Rollins, Inc. to reverse my charges and finally cancel and settle out my contract. I also ask that neither Orkin, LLC, nor Rollins ************** contact me again, via mail, e-mail, voice mail, and also stop calling me. I have fulfilled the terms of our contract.Business Response

I canceled service with Orkin 3 months ago, and for 3 months they have continued to come to my house and spray, this month it was 3 people on the same day which cant be good for the environment. 2 from Orkin And one from the company I hired to come out to replace ***** for cheating me out of money. I fired them for cheating me out of money, and they continue to do so, and wont refund anything. The manager claimed I never canceled it, which I did, 3 months ago. So last month she refused to give me a refund for the 2 months, and she told old me she would make sure it was canceled. Obviously, it didnt get canceled because I got charged yesterday for another $75. I can show proof when I went with true green and paid them up front for the whole summer minus the first month.Business Response

I hired Orkin pest control to eliminate my flea problem at my residence. I hired ***** on July 21, 2024. The first time they came out was July 22, 2024. This company has promised to deal with my flea problem and it has been over a month and I still have the same issue. There has been 7 times a technician has came out to spray my yard and they have not fulfilled the contract they were hired for. The technicians that have been coming have done an awful job and have not been professional. One of the technicians spot sprayed the outside of my home in 5 minutes and took the same spray he used outside and started spraying inside my home. I asked him if I needed to remove my dog and he said no. I have reached out to speak to a manager on multiple occasions and they were unavailable to speak to me about my concerns. Orkin is by far the worst business I have ever hired for any service. After they have been out to spray my yard 7 times I still have a flea infestation.Business Response

During the inspection they found heavy flea activity on the right side of the home, and in the crawlspace. A follow-up treatment was performed on Tuesday August 27th. Orkin pest control ripped me off. In the beginning I had an appointment with a manager and he basically told me that if was to get the moisture control and humidity package along with bi- monthly pest services that I would be free of water bugs, of course I was expecting to see one once in a while since it is pest control, but I see them all the time! I cant even get 30 days pest free ever since I hired this company. We invested over $7000.00 so I would feel even more ripped off trying to find another company so I have to stay with them but they are not living up to their standards and agreement. They are also not doing the inspection and other things that were supposed to be done after we paid for that package. They have not gave my home a thorough inspection and patched things up as I paid for and when they do come out for the spraying in and outside of our home they are not doing that properly since we always are seeing the water bugs. We are ripped off and being ripped off because we are not getting what we paid for. They have not got to the bottom of our problems and just basically doing the bare minimum but the bare minimum is not showing no results and havent in over a year. This is non stop I have to call them to come back because there is never no peace of mind since the water bugs always show up. I just want them to get down to the bottom of this so I can have peace of mind, and Im allergic to water bugs as well.Business Response

During the inspection there were some holes on the interior and exterior that he applied foam to, as well as checked the traps for activity but none was found. In addition, an appointment was scheduled and rendered for September 3rd to seal the ***** vents. I contacted ***** on 7/18 regarding a mite problem. ******************* conducted an inspection and provided a quote for insulation and an exclusion. On 7/19, I signed the contract. Work was to be completed on 7/23 to include a quality audit. *** indicated it was a one day job. The crew came out on 7/23 and completed the insulation job, but did not do the exclusion. I contacted *** and he said the crew would be out the following day to complete the work. A partial exclusion was completed on 7/24. I contacted *** again and advised the exclusion was not completed. He indicated he would expedite the quality audit. I waited 2 weeks with no contact. Then I contacted customer service to speak with the service manager. I was to receive a call back in 24 hours. This did not happen and I had to follow up again. The service manager called me back to schedule the quality audit. I advised him that any day the week of 08/19 would work except 8/20. I later received a voice mail from him indicating he would be over on 8/20. I immediately called him back and advised again that 8/20 didn't work. I did not hear back from him until 8/20 when he planned to come to my house. The service manager indicated he would call me this morning to do the quality audit today. No call no show and tomorrow is the end of my 30 day guarantee. I left him a voice mail. The work I signed for is incomplete and I believe ****** is in breach of their contract promises. I was to have 90 days from completion to pay for the job. I have received the bill, but the job is incomplete. I have asked for an itemization 3 times to see what I am paying for and have not received one. I am asking for the work to be completed and an adjustment to my bill for having to hold them accountable to their job.Business Response

I paid Orkin $7000 to get rid of bats in October 2019. They got them out of my house. They came back. I have called them to come out every year since. The bats still get back in. They get IN MY HOUSE!!! I called them in October 2023 to ask them to come one more time, because we were residing and sealing my house and wanted them to work eith the guys doing it. It was hard to get them to respond but when they finally did I was told they needed more money to come back. I already paid these people $7000! That has to count for something. They never permanently got rid of the bats. Which is what I thought I was paying for. Now I will once again have to pay someone to get rid of them.
