Dont waste your money or, more importantly, your time purchasing a ServeCo warranty agreement. In my opinion, ******** shouldnt even in good conscience be selling them. I wish I had read about Serveco online prior I purchased the agreement through ******** 3 1/2 years ago. One reclining end of the sofa began to act as if something in the internal mechanism was faulty. ******** put me in touch with ServeCo. A number of other reviews *** read speak to delays in response time and delivery of parts. The intermediary contacts at ServeCo were always responsive, but not able to help since they subcontract their repairs out to subpar companies. Receiving my ******** parts was also not an issue. GETTING IT REPAIRED WAS THE MAJOR PROBLEM. It has taken 4 months to resolve the issue. ServeCo initially sent out a technician from one of their subcontractors, SAW Enterprises, who was unable to repair the recliner. They then sent out a different subcontractor, Premier Furniture Service. Premier was also unable to repair the recliner since a different part was needed. The lead training technician promised that he himself would come back to complete the job, as he acknowledged the company (ServeCo) was having difficulties meeting repair needs on the West Coast and he didnt want to leave us hanging. Never heard from him again, even after requesting him by name multiple times. ServeCo scheduled SAW again. Technician cancelled last minute. ServeCo scheduled Premier 2 more times and the technician cancelled on both occasions, again at the last minute. Finally on the 6TH ATTEMPT, another technician from Premier came out and successfully completed the repair. I have another 1 years on my contract and I WILL NOT BE REQUESTING SERVICES FROM SERVECO if there are any other issues with the sofa. The companys abuse of customers time, both waiting around for technicians that dont show and the time on the telephone requesting action simply isnt worth it.

We value customer feedback to best understand ways that we can achieve our goals to exceed their expectations. The fact that your input reflected a less than exceptional experience is regrettable and undermines our internal initiatives. We want to express our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused you.We do not take for granted the trust you placed in ServeCo when you invested in your service contract. I see that the service technician has successfully installed the parts and completed the repairs. If there is anything else ServeCo can do to enhance your experience, please dont hesitate to let us know.

Don't look to this company for a warranty. Review your warranty contract very carefully. They will find some way of refusing your claim.I purchased the 5 year Pet warranty against damage by pets ($200+). One weekend we were away and our 2 dogs badly clawed the front of the coach. Our claim was refused because it was not considered a 'SINGLE INCIDENT' even though this happened on one day. Like I said, they will look for any way to avoid paying a claim. Buyer Beware!!

They took my money for a leather sofa and when i need it to be replaced they do nothing. I have contacted this company to stand by their warranty and they have not followed through other than sending someone out who determined we need a new sofa They have not returned phone calls or emails. I am at my wits end-what good is a warranty if the warranty company does nothing?

We bought a sofa, chair and 1/2 and two leather recliners in February 2024. They delivered the furniture and one of the leather recliners was broken on delivery. They said they would send someone out to look at the chair and fix it. I had to call several times to get them to send someone. Now, I should have refused delivery but we didn't know it was broken until it was set up and we actually sat in it. The entire metal mechanism was bent. They said they would order the parts and fix it and that it happens all the time (not a good sign). A month went by and another tech shows up a knows nothing about the part that needs to be ordered. So he says he will order the part. This resulted in more phone calls and ******** assured me that the part was on order but takes weeks to arrive. We are 3 months out and still have a broken chair and no parts to fix it. Also, the fabric on the couch is already pilling after just a month and the ottoman cushion has a dent in it just from resting your legs on it. I would highly recommend that you don't do business with these people. The product is c*** and service is ****.UPDATE - August 2024 It has been several months and still the chair remains broken and unusable. Serve *** is who Gavigans uses for service. They have not reached out or updated us on the status of the part. At this point I am out of sorts and patience. I called the store, they again referred me to Serve *** I spent over 10 minutes on hold so I hung up and called Gavigans again. They sent an email escalating the situation.UPDATE - So the real issue here is SERVECO. As soon as the furniture arrives it is no longer Gavigans problem. If you want to lodge a complaint you need to do it to SERVECO. The service manager ************** was not helpful or friendly. They have agreed to replace the recliner but guess what???? Its been so long that they discontinued the recliner so now our recliners that side by side will not match. Uggggghhhh why did I buy from them.

ServeCo apologizes for the frustration and delay youve experienced with your service request.Upon reviewing your case, I see that ServeCo ordered a part for your item in April, following the service technicians recommendation. The process of obtaining parts can be lengthy, particularly if they are sourced from overseas or if the item has been discontinued. Manufacturers often need to conduct additional research to confirm part availability, and ServeCo receives updates on the status. In your case, the delay was extended due to the item likely being discontinued. As you are aware, ServeCo has committed to replacing both pieces to ensure you have a matching set.Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue. We look forward to ensuring that you can fully enjoy your furniture as intended.

We initiated a warranty claim under the Gold Package in March. Unfortunately, the entire process has been quite challenging. After submitting the necessary photos, the claim was approved, and a technician was dispatched to take additional photos. However, the process has been delayed significantly. Two months later, a technician arrived with the incorrect part, and we have been waiting for resolution since then. I have been consistently following up every two weeks, often spending an hour on hold each time, only to be told that the part has shipped and that I should await further communication. This experience has been frustrating, and I hope for a prompt resolution.

Power Recliner for disabled person stopped working. The furniture store filed claim ******. ServeCo sent a technician who said he "giggled some wires" and said "it was okay". It never worked again!I returned to the furniture store. The store Manager called ServeCo and I was instructed to provide photos of the chair and all internal labels. When I inquired electronically about the status of the claim, I was prompted to send all of the photos for a second time. ( An employee informed me that this is a system failure ServeCo is aware of)Over a 24 day period I spoke with three different ServeCo employees. All three told me the motor was ordered and would be shipped directly to my home!On 8/8 (24 days after the claim was filed) I received an email informing me "The assessment of the damage is not covered by the terms of your manufacturer warranty". It stated that before proceeding there was a $35 processing fee. We were offered two options "Triage and Parts Ordering" and "On-site Inspection". It also informed that "Each technician visit incurs a labor service fee outside the one-year manufacturer warranty. The fee for the initial home visit is $175 and any additional visits will be billed at $125/hour."It is obvious that whoever wrote the 8/8 email failed to review my file. If they had, they would have realized that a technician had already been to my home and jiggled some wires and that a motor had been ordered!!!We are the recipients of a 24-day runaround by SERVECO CUSTOMER CARE TEAM!!! After waiting 24 days, we are offered an option to pay a $35 processing fee plus $175 initial home visit and any additional visits at $125/hour.I will make certain to inform Flexsteel (the manufacturer of the chair) the poor service we experienced with SERVECO!Fraud and Consumer Protection Division will be made aware of this form of price gouging.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your service request. We value consumer input as it helps us identify areas for improvement, enhance our services, and better meet expectations.Initially, we started your service request using an incorrect receipt from the portal. When we attempted to order the part through the manufacturer, we discovered that the chair in question did not match the one listed on the receipt we used. After locating the correct receipt, we found that your chair was beyond the manufacturing warranty period, and we sent you the non-warranty script for your review. We understand that this situation caused confusion, and better communication on our part could have led to a more positive experience. To resolve the issue, ServeCo has collaborated with the retailer to provide a solution. We will cover the cost of the required part, and the retailer will send a service technician to install it at no charge to you. Please rest assured that we take your concerns seriously and are dedicated to resolving this matter to restore your confidence in our services.

I do NOT recommend buying your warranty with this company! They give you nothing but the run around!! I have been waiting months for them to send someone to repair my couch, a technician did come out and say its not fixable and a replacement would be the best option. The company denied his report and said he never came or said this even though I have proof! They assigned yet another technician to come out and its been weeks with no date I called and they told me to call this other number to book the visit. What??? Now Im doing their work so I called as my couch has been sitting on the floor broken middle of living room for months you can even sit on it as the springs are completely broken at the bottom of couch and there is no answer at the number they provided. They will not help resolve this issue. Please do your research before paying for warranty this company is the worst to deal with. Even the technician that first talked to me couldnt believe what theyre doing to us.

This company is a snake. We have a leather chair and took out a 10 year warranty on it. We’ve had it for 2 1/2 years and the color is wiping off. We were told maybe men’s oil could cause this color to come off. Under what’s covered it states human bodily fluids , nope not covered. Bodily fluids is saliva, feces, vomit, and there was one more can’t remember. I ask it it was one of those and I wiped it off and the color came off is that covered. Nope that’s called color loss. This company will not cover anything they have an excuse every time you try them to cover something. This was my 2nd time filling a complaint about the chair. Do not ever take out an extended warranty with them. The furniture store I bought it doesn’t deal with them anymore.

Seriously! We cant even sit in the chair! And I have made several calls trying to get this chair fix and get the correct parts. What is the point of this warranty if they do nothing?!?!
