BIG SCAM!!!!This is a wast of time and money they will not warranty anything they always have a reason not to coply with *************** of all you don't receive any warranty certificate and you pay as much as you can for pet protection you show them the damage that is clearly from scratching, that is supposed to be covered and they say it is wear and tear when spots that are sat on and the arms are showing no wear! BIG SCAM !!!!!ServeCo North America

I hope this email finds you well. My name is ****** and Im in the claim resolution department here at ServeCo. I reviewed your claim and see that it was deemed ineligible in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the service contract purchased. Referring to the section titled "Wear & Tear Caused by Repeated Use" in the service contract, it explicitly lists occurrences such as "pilling, pulls, snags, seam separation, or fraying of fabric" as non-covered instances. ************************ request must be reported within ******************************************************************** this instance you mentioned that you only recently noticed the stitching coming undone: there isn't a specific incident cited as the cause.
We do not take for granted the trust you placed in ServeCo when you invested in your service contract. I want to assure you that we take your concerns seriously and are committed to creating a resolution that not only addresses the issues you've encountered but also restores your confidence in our services. ServeCo is currently exploring the availability of parts to repair the center seat casing as a courtesy and will fulfill the service contract.
I look forward to the opportunity to resolve the concerns surrounding your service request.
Have an amazing!Review fromCatherine F

1 starTerrible waste of money getting extended warranty for our Lazyboy chair. Sent pictures, called almost weekly got the same response they are reviewing it and waiting to hear from the manufacture. This has been going on for 2 months. Will not buy from Lazy Boy again they also will not seem to help us . My husband has medical conditions were the chair was needed in the first place. Not a happy customer!Review fromCarrie B

Complete waste of money purchasing a protection plan from this company. They do everything in their power to not cover what their contract says. We turned in a claim from a specific incident as the contract stated, but was told "because there was other signs of wear that the claim could not be accepted. They must bring the table back to manufacturing standards and since there is other damage, they can not fix the damage that the claim was placed for." Why even have a 5 year warranty available if you expect there is not going to be any other signs of damage on a table? Extremely rude on the phone and wait times to even get any response have been horrendous.ServeCo North America

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate the opportunity to review your claim and address your concerns. It appears the reported issue didnt align with a specific incident that caused the chips in the table, which falls out of the scope of coverage for the service contract purchased. The service contract extends coverage for specific accidental incidents reported in the time frame outline in the service contract. ServeCo has attempted to reach out in an attempt to bridge the gap between our decision based on the terms and conditions of the service contract and your expectation by offering a courtesy repair by our local service technician. We look forward to hearing back from you and the opportunity to assist with a resolution.Review fromJustin L

Shameful. If I had stuck a steak knife in my ******************** that might have been covered but if your elbow pushed through a spot then it is not. They have designed a policy that is full of loopholes. I suggest that you do not do business with anyone who sells this policy with their ********************. Not only am I disappointed in ServeCo but in Ashley ******************** for selling me this $589 policy. Warning, do your research before you buy! They will not honor their policy!ServeCo North America

WASTE OF MONEY. SCAM. I have been trying to get this company to deal with my claim for weeks now. I have submitted pictures and I have answered questions that I have only received after pestering them to address my claim. No progress hs been made whatsoever. They have dispatched nobody to address the issue and they have not returned my repeated emails, *** also contacted the furniture manufacturer, Joybird, to let them know that they are peddling a scam product, but they probably know that already.ServeCo North America

Hello, We value customer feedback to best understand ways that we can achieve our goals to exceed their expectations. The fact that your input reflected a less than exceptional experience is regrettable and undermines our internal initiatives. We want to express our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused you. I have confirmed the assignment of a service technician, and a scheduled date of 2/13/2024 has been set to address the stain. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to ServeCo before the scheduled date.Review fromBenjamin D

I am perplexed, disappointed, and flat out insulted to the level of service which I have received in dealing with the claims department before, during, and after the fact when dealing with ServeCo for a stain claim on our power recliner. I have essentially beencalled wreck less, that this situation was preventable, that this situation was a repeatable offense (even though I followed each guideline per the ServeCo manual that I received upon the purchase of my furniture), and essentially I feel like I have been called a liar and that I have not been heard one bit throughout this whole process.Once my claim was fully denied, I was told that I had to work solely with ******** for the duration if I wanted to get anywhere from here. I was told that if I wanted to get anything, including my money back for the money spent on my fabric protection that I was not going to be able to use due my denied claim, than it was up to me to go in and ask the store from which I bought the item for a refund for the warranty that ServeCo provided. How INCREDIBLY frustrating for the customer in this sense. One that tried his hardest to follow all the rules and guidelines according to what was put in place per ServeCo and for only to be denied (and to find out by myself calling, no formal denial sent out by ServeCo). I cant tell you how disappointed I am with this whole entire process, the lack of respect I received, the things I was told I didnt do or should have done, instead of helping me like a warranty company shouldmaybe just a little bit. There was no Im sorry.I understandthis must be hard, etc.; but rather, just constant ridicule and unfriendliness to the point that I was left essentially high and dry to figure this out on my own. I need whoever needs to know this to know that this is NOT how you handle a claim, how you handle a customer who is probably going to be buying more furniture in the near future, or in general, how you treat peopleits just not!ServeCo North America

Under the service contract the consumer purchased, accidental stains created by pet urine are eligible for service under the Terms and Conditions. However, also included in the contract is the disclaimer that repetitive animal damages are considered preventable occurrences and will not be eligible for service. After the consumer applied their contract for a repetitive incident for the 3rd time within 10 days, we politely informed them that their circumstances no longer qualified as accidental and that ServeCo would provide a comprehensive cleaning of their furniture at no cost as a courtesy. Regrettably, we acknowledge that our goodwill gesture did not meet desired expectations, and we're sorry to hear about the dissatisfaction reflected in this review. Our intention has always been to provide excellent service, and we genuinely value the consumers business. We sincerely hope they reconsider their relationship with ServeCo. Our offer for a complimentary comprehensive cleaning stand, and we are committed to resolving this matter to reasonable satisfaction.Review fromAshley S

Purchased ServeCos protection plans on furniture from Lazboy. Absolute waste of money and a complete scam! Apparently they wont cover a seam separation because it wasnt from a specific incident and when I told them I thought it was from pet damage (I also purchased pet protection), they sent me an email saying its not covered after I went through the trouble of calling multiple times, scanning and uploading my purchase receipt, and pictures as proof of the damage. Called ****** to complain and they told me theres nothing they can do. Ive been telling everyone I know DO NOT BUY THE PROTECTION PLANS!ServeCo North America

Could the claim be under another name or email? Also, can you possibly provide your phone number as I can look it up with that information as well. This company is a scam. Their practices are fraudulent. Do not buy their protection plan for furniture. I have a broken tension spring, which is literally stated as part of the plan. And they disqualified it from repair, saying it's not. Money wasted.ServeCo North America

We value customer feedback to best understand ways that we can achieve our goals to exceed their expectations. The fact that your input reflected a less than exceptional experience is regrettable and undermines our internal initiatives. We want to express our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused you. ServeCo has since dispatched ******* Steamer to do an overall cleaning and we also approved the service technician to move forward with adding a deodorizer compound as a courtesy since the stain sat longer than expected and the inconvenience that accompanied the late service. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact ServeCo directly.Review fromJudith M

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! Purchased an electric loveseat from ******** 14 months ago. The right side stopped working. Went on line 7 days ago and put in a service request, added the pictures they asked for. 3 days later I called and was told they needed more pictures. Sent those. 3 days later called again, was told she would send over a request to their parts department to order the parts and it would take about 10 days. HOW DO THEY KNOW WHAT PART TO ORDER WHEN NO ONE HAS BEEN OUT! ALSO, I am 70 years old and my husband is 85. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS FOR US TO CRAWL IN AND OUT OF THIS! AND IT'S GOING TO TAKE, WHAT, ANOTHER MONTH IF WE ARE LUCKY! i will NEVER buy another service contract with this company!ServeCo North America

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with *******. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the claim intake process and provide insights into our approach for a swift resolution. To expedite the resolution of your claim, ServeCo requests the manufacturing tags upfront, with a particular focus on obtaining the *** number located on the tag. This *** number is crucial for ordering the necessary parts, allowing us to eliminate the need for an initial service ********** to diagnose the issue which shortens the lifespan of your claims by weeks. Your proactive submission of photos, though not mandatory, greatly contributed to this expedited process. We believe that by addressing the reported problem starting with the switch, we can efficiently resolve the issue with your recliner. We're pleased to inform you that the part has already been ordered based on the *** number provided, and we have an estimated shipping date of 1/18/2024.Once you receive your part, please feel free to contact ServeCo so we can dispatch a service technician for installation.
