      Let's see. they took our money via the furniture store and have denied a legitimate claim. After rejecting it and my call about it they told me to refile the claim after a few weeks. I followed their directions and was promptly rejected a second time. The furniture is not that old and has broken springs. on one end of our larger sofa which will need repair or replacement due to damage covered by the warrantee purchased. I tried to call again today and was unable to get through. when my wife arrived home she called and was greeted with a great deal of rude and disrespectful response from the person on the phone. As she was being treated poorly but finally was able to get through I took over only to get hung up on and told that the claim was due to damage over time. While the company has many positive reviews it is clear that something has happened as I have read several negative reviews that are the same almost to the word as our experience.Either ServeCo needs to honor the warrantees or stop selling their products. The treatment we recieved and the service we did not receive borders on false advertising.

      Our sincere apologies if our interactions with you or your wife have been anything less than expected. Your Protection Plan is coverage for accidental damages based on a specific/particular incident. it does include protection against damages that have occurred over time or wear and tear. Because you reported to us that your sofa was sinking and that it was happening over time and that it wasn't a specific incident, we determined your claim was ineligible for service. However, in the spirit of customer relations, we have agreed to send a furniture technician in hopes of completing the necessary repairs. We appreciate your patience and understanding.       I bought coverage from **** *** *********. The coverage company is SERVECO. Unfortunately for inexplicable reasons they denied my claim, without sufficient reason. ** ** * ***** **** *** they will get you to answer the questions in the claim which then give them an "out" for fixing the damage. ***** ****. Last time I will buy any furniture coverage. I had a small tear on the chair and I was not totally aware of the cause and this was their reasoning for denying my claim. ******* ** * *****

      When I bought my Sofa and Chair and a Half back in November of 2022 along with a ServeCo Pet Protection plan that cost $465, everything was great. In mid to late January 2023, I caught my cat using the chair and a half as a scratching post as well as other damages to both units. I called that same day to report the damage. At first, ServeCo stated incorrectly that because the units were still within the first year that it was up to ******** to fix the damages. After speaking with ******************* about this, they contacted ServeCo and found out that the person that told me that was new and didn't know any better. They then said they would take my claim in mid February. It is now 9 March 2023, and ServeCo is stating that because the damage has gotten worse since my initial call they are calling it a "More than 30 day accumulation of damage" and refusing to cover the damage.I called them the day the damage happened, they lied to me, passed me back and forth with ******** for 2 months, all the while my cats damaged the furniture more, and now because of those delays are telling me that they no longer have to cover the repair.As far as I am concerned, until they repair the furniture, they have stolen $465 from me.

      Sorry to hear of your disappointment regarding the outcome of your claim. The Service Contract that was purchased provides coverage for accidental damage that occurs as a result of a specific/particular incident. What was initially reported to ServeCo was that there was a lot of threads pulled all over as well as other damage to both units. Additionally, we were told that this damage activity had been happening for 2-3 months. Therefore, regretfully, we determined that the damage was accumulative, which as stated in the terms and conditions of the Protection Plan as ineligible for service.       So, you admit that due to your own delays in resolving the damage covered by the protection I purchased from you for $500, delays that caused the damage to worsen, that it put you in a position to deny my claim? You are admitting to that, out in the open.Step 1: My cats damage my furniture, so I call to file a claim.Step 2: You take your sweet time, about 3 months of it, to process the claim.Step 3: During that time my cats do more damage.Step 4: Now that there is an accumulation of damage, caused by a delay that was YOUR FAULT, you are telling me that I can no longer use the protection plan I paid good money for?ServeCo is an absolute JOKE.

      Sorry to hear of your disappointment ******************. You purchase a very good Protection Plan that covers many types of household accidental damages and stains. However, your claim simply does not meet the terms and conditions to be eligible for services. Your Service Contract document details what is covered and what is not covered. If you did not receive this document, please contact your retailer. Since your concern is also not covered under the manufacturer warranty, we would recommend contacting a certified repair technician. Sincerely, ServeCo
