      Their salesperson lied to us about the services they provide and now that were trying to cancel, theyre charging us $250. They said they pumped pest control into the system installed in our new construction home. They do not provide this service.

      Hi ****,

      I apologize if you were under the impression that we use the tube system, we do not nor do we claim to in any of the paper work signed by you or on our website. I will speak to the sales rep that signed you up and will take internal disciplinary action so that this doesnt happen again. I can assure you that our service and products work as well if not better than that of an in between the wall system. The reason being is that the insects actually need to come in contact with the product in order to exterminate them. Our service provides interior and exterior treatment to attack both sides of any wall not just the inside. 

      I have recently sent you via our pest routes portal system both ********s that you signed one with the the sales rep and the other with the technician. Its our company policy to always verify the sales rep ******** with a technician to make sure there is no misunderstanding of the ******** length or cancellation fee. 

      Unfortunately since you signed a 24 month agreement and received $250 off your initial service your cancellation fee is the discount that was offered. ($250)

      If youre  unhappy with the service we do guarantee our service. We come back for free between scheduled visits if your still seeing bugs or if we missed something. 

      Please contact us at our office for a reservice or to resolve any further issues that you may have. An agreement is a 2 way street and were willing to help and hold up our end. Thank you. *************

      I am rejecting this response because I was lied to. Cancel my service. I will not be paying the $250 cancellation fee. Ive began to inform my neighbors through ***************** and word of mouth to not use your company. Im sure this will cost a whole lot more than $250. I dislike using this threat, but I feel that I was told a lie to buy a contract.

      Im sorry you feel that way, again this is exactly why it is our company policy to go over 1st agreement with a technician. The technician explains the service and the contract length and cancellation fee and your signature is present on the agreement attached. 

      Our normal service is discounted from $299. You received your initial service based off a 2 year agreement for a discounted rate of $50. Therefore if you are to cancel prior to the agreement length we ask for the initial service to be paid in full. I.e. a $250 cancellation fee. 

      Again were more than happy to come out and perform a reservice if the service was subpar, if we missed something or if your seeing bugs. Failure to complete your agreement or continually cancel follow up service will result in the cancellation fee being charged. Additional late fees and or collection fees can be assessed as well, please see the terms of the agreement in the 2nd attached agreement. 

      I would like to make it clear that we are willing to hold up our end of this agreement and keep your home, yard and family bug free. Please call us at ************ to discuss, thank you.

      I signed up with Anthem Pest control to come out quarterly because we found ********* ants at one of our properties. They said they guarantee to get rid of the ********* aunts or they will come back out to treat again until they are taken care of. Sounds like a great deal so I signed up.They came out to treat like scheduled. I gave it about a month because maybe it takes a little while for the poison to work. Well, I am still seeing a lot of ********* aunts so I called them. I told them that I need someone to come back out since Im still having problems with the aunts. The lady on the phone informed me that the warranty does NOT cover ********* aunts!! WTH! The only reason I even got this stupid service was for ********* aunts! She kept saying that she was sorry for the misunderstanding, blah blah blah..I was ****** and corrected her! This was NOT a misunderstanding, this was a straight up LIE from your sells person! I told her to cancel my services since it doesnt even treat the bug I called them about! She told me that it would be nearly $300 for me to cancel the services! I dont mean to get all ***** over here but I am soooo pissed!

      I'm sorry for the back and forth and that you feel slighted by us. our company policy is to have the salesman set you up and have you sign the contract and then later at your date of service to have a technician (3rd party) verify that you understood what you signed with the sales rep. *** agreement clearly states in the agreement terms in the 4th sentence that this contract does not include termites or any other wood destroying organisms. (please see the attached image)  I'm sorry that wasn't explained to you thoroughly enough in your opinion. That being said I am willing to work with you and possibly settle on a cancellation rate. I will leave notes in your accounts with my approval. please call us at ************.

      We had a sales person come by from Athem Pest Control last year and blatantly lie to us in order to get us to sign. The first lie was that he assured us we could cancel our (at the time primary pest control service) other service without having any fees be applied to us by that company. The second lie was that it was only a one year contract. We would like to make people aware of the shady sales "tactics" used by this company to get someone to sign with their company.

      I have reviewed your account and it looks like you have already taken care of the cancellation fee. I thank you for that and I appreciate your business. I'm sorry that your experience with our sales rep was a sour one. The reason we have a contract verification form (see attached CVF) is to verify that the sales rep got the price and contract length correct. Both of the attachments were signed by you. both have the same price and same contract length of 24 months. The original contract was signed by you and the sales rep. the second contract (CVF) was signed with you and our technician at the time of service. I realize that this isn't always 100% clear with customers but it is what we do to make sure the sales rep did his job and that the customer understands the terms of the agreement with a secondary impartial party i.e. the technician. 

      Again I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused but I do thank you for holding up your end of the agreement and paying the cancellation fee. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance to you.

      I have not been satisfied with their service early on. I called to see what the cancellation policy was about 3 months after having the service and still having the same problems with bugs in the home. They explained I signed a ***************************** order to cancel early there would be penalty fees, different than how it was explained when I was sold the service. So I just decided to bear it and wait for the contract to end. I called well before their supposed 30 notification to let them know I DID NOT want to continue the service after the initial 12 month period, to please note it on my account (twice) and was told that my last payment would be in JULY. I received a notification stating they would be coming out to service the home and I promptly called because I am no longer under contract with them, as requested multiple times to end the contract and note it on my account. My contract began 06/17/21 and would have already expired. I requested 'customer service,' who is ONE GIRL all of the time, a gatekeeper, and you can't contact anyone else, to send me a copy of the 'contract.' After review, they are attempting to continue my contract against my request, trying to make me think my contract is not over and offering me some dumb discount like I am stupid and don't know they are trying to get over on me, to continue paying for this ineffective service.

      Your account has been closed. thank you for completing your agreement with us. I believe the Mix up with you wanting to cancel and us not officially closing the account is because you were on a monthly payment plan. Our company policy is to not allow anyone to cancel services until all previous account balances are satisfied. I show that your last payment was made July, 05 through an automatic batch charge. there are no other fees or services remaining on your agreement.
