    Got a car on 2/4/23 transmission started slipping not even 24 hours into having the car on top of that theres a hole in the coolant reservoir. Asked for a refund or a different car, they refused! It hasnt even been a week with this car! They lie!!!!!!

    Firstly I would like to apologize for your last than perfect experience with us at Sports and Imports. Stellar customer service is always are utmost priority, and I am saddened that we have not met our own high expectations.

    In regards to your complaint, I have consulted with your account manager in what has occurred since obtaining a vehicle. When you contacted your account manager in regards to the vehicle, she insisted that she would waive any fees associated with repairing your vehicle, including the towing fee and $1000 deductible. However, you declined her offer and instead volunteered to return your vehicle. Your account manager did everything in her power to assist in the situation, and I apologize we were not able to come to a conclusion that you deemed unsatisfactory. 

    As well, unfortunately, you did sign a contract that stated that your down payment was non-returnable, and as well, the vehicle was being sold as-is, and there were no mechanical issues listed in your We Owe document.

    I am rejecting this response because: why would I want the car? Id have to wait for the transmission to be fixed & you guys declined me for asking for a loaner vehicle until its fixed & still want payments to be made on it lol thats ridiculous! Cant refund $700 like thats hurting you guys? Its not my fault the car messed up didnt even have it for a full day, none of you have no sympathy at all!!!!! Its just about money money money! You guys still havent sent a tow truck to pick the vehicle up its taking up space in my yard & if you guys try to pull anything I have everything recorded like your salesperson hanging up on me saying he didnt sell me a car & the account manager declining my calls. COME GET THE VEHICLE I DO NOT WANT IT!

    Again, I would like to apologize for your experience with us at Sports and Imports. I can understand how frustrating it is, and I appreciate your patience and understanding through everything. 

    As far as the vehicle being picked up is concerned, I spoke to your account manager, and she has informed me that she has instructed your vehicle to be retrieved at no extra cost to you. Unfortunately, I do not have a date on when the vehicle will be picked up, but I'm hoping it will no longer be an issue in the near future. 

    In reference to your reports of being hung up on by your salesman, I will ensure I review the recording of when you called, and make sure to discipline the employee accordingly if fault is found on his part. And I do apologize if it has been difficult to reach your account manager. Please do not hesitate to give us a call if you need to speak them, and I will ensure that you are connected with them.

    Again, I do apologize for your experience and hopefully we can reach an agreement soon.

    Sold 2011 ****** Rav4, just over 100K miles on 12/23/22. I had stable work history but young and new to area and recently homeless. It was freezing with temps in single digits. I took all the money i had saved and went to purchase a vehicle (Over **** to put down then they want a baloon note of over **** on second note, andover ************************************************************** ******** just three years before in one of multiple ******** sales. They sold me this vehicle and made promises of 2 year warranty etc. The car broke down (kept dying) within 24 hours and needed to be towed to their dealership in gainesville. They said Apparently, more research and it appears the car has been flooded as bolts under seats are heavily corroded normally id have a 250 dedctible each time to fix it.. I walso noticed discolored carpets and even speakers have a line of what appears to be corrosion on the inside. They will not trade out or repair car - its been two weeks at their dealer and nothing, not even a loaner. I have nothing else and worse off then I was before - They really took advantage of me - these people are vultures and have no soul ....

    Firstly, I would like to apologize for your less than perfect experience with us at Sports and Imports. It is always our utmost priority to offer the best customer service possible, and it saddens me that we have not met our own expectations with you. 

    I have reviewed your complaint, and spoke to the account managers handling your case, as well as I've reviewed the documentation and contracts associated with your case. 

    Per the notes from your account managers, I can see that you did in fact call on 12/27/2022 alerting us that your vehicle broke down. By the 30th, we picked your vehicle up for repairs. You were informed that due to the holidays, repairs may be a little delayed. The account manager also noted that your key was seemingly purposely broken, and now we've needed to hire a locksmith in order to continue repairs. As of yesterday, 1/3/2022, the repairs are still delayed but your account managers are doing everything in their power to get you back into your vehicle. Our apologies on the length of time it is taking, but everyone involved are doing their absolute best.

    As far as your refund is concerned, unfortunately, when signing your contracts when purchasing your vehicle, it was meant to be understood that you were buying your vehicle as is, and that unfortunately, the down payments were not returnable. I do regret that we cannot do more to help, but again, we are doing our best to return your vehicle to you.

    I purchased a 2012 Dodge Journey on April 16th 2022 with a $500 cash payment towards the down payment and two pick up payments of $500 totaling the down payment as $1,500. My car payments were to be $323 every two weeks. I have not been late one time with them. I noticed the day after we left the lot the check engine light came on and I called them about it and was told they would need to schedule an appointment but that they would need to keep the car for 7 to 10 days but I can't miss work without a rental which they don't provide. As the months went by, the car began to misfire and run rough. We checked the codes and tried to fix the problem. The car won't start now. I called them to come pick it up to be fixed because there was nothing I could do about it. They told me I had to pay $250 just to schedule an appointment for them to look at it and I told them I can't afford that but I need my car fixed. I got home from work and the car was gone. They came and picked it up. I keep getting the run around on my vehicle. I just want my car fixed.

    I spoke with your account manager in order to figure out the details of your case. From what I was informed, unfortunately, you had some semblance of a mechanical failure and you petitioned to have your car picked up, which is why the car is currently missing from your home. 

    My account manager requests that you reach out to her directly about updates to the fixes and in order to retrieve your vehicle.

    I purchased a car from sports and imports. Within less than 30 days of me having the car. It began over heating. It was sent back to dealer to be serviced. No adjustments to the biweekly car note. No rental or loaner car given. Three months later the engine had a check engine light come on. Once again I had to pay a deductible and had no car for 7 days. They never let me know what the problem is. They purchased parts from puck and pull to service vehicles. I have had this car for less than a year and it has been to the shop about 6 times with out explaining the problem. No customer service friendly place. They use dishonest practice to get people with troubled credit or income. Then sell them lemons. They offer no of set to the problem that they may have been the origin off.

    I have a legal question for my lawyer friends My son and I went several months back and got him a car. It was a newer ************** from a dealership that is "supposed" to help him build credit ******* learn) we got the car for 10k 13k with interest. Within a month we had to replace the battery because we found out they took out the battery made for the car and put in a battery too small for the car. While ****** was driving on the highway one day the connections got loose due to this and shut the car off. This is how we found out about the battery. Not even a couple days later after replacing the batter the engine blew. The dealership said it was covered under thier "Bumper to bumper" warranty and they would tow the car to them and fix it. 3 weeks later of my son having no car and calling multiple times about how much longer to get the car back because he needed it for work which he eventually had to quit due to lake of transportation. They finally told us they couldn't fix it but because we were "good customers"(suckered more like it) they would let him co.e pick out another car. When we arrived we were shown only 3 cars. Thinking they would be of equal value. They showed us to cars with body damage and the 2010 **** Focus (which had no AC, cracked head and shakes going over 60) we asked for our deposit and would go elsewhere. They said they could not do that and even if he didn't pick one of the *** cars that he would still have to pay the 275 every 2 weeks and they were being g "nice" enough to let him pick another car. WTF. I was mad but he needed a car. We felt con. We told them from the beginning when ask his pay schedule he was paid on Friday bi weekly. The con of a dealership purposely set it for Thursday. Every Friday morning his car would be turned off for lack of payment. Ever Friday we would have to call. This has been ridiculous. A couple months ago I needed a friends help to call and pay the car payment and I would give him cash.

    First and foremost, I want to apologize for your less than perfect experience with us at Sports and Imports. We always strive to completely satisfy our customers' needs, and it seems we have not met our own standards, and we regret that statement greatly.

    Regarding the repairs on your vehicles, we strove to do our absolute best to alleviate any issues that occurred within your time of owning the vehicle. We regret we were unable to fix your Kia ***** but we were happy to replace your vehicle with a car of equitable value. Your selection was limited, considering you purchased your original vehicle at the price of $10,000 and we do not have many vehicles at that price point. 


    Speaking of your sons pay schedule, when finance determines a customers payments for their vehicles, we go by the evidence given when applying for the car. The bank statements given showed that your son was paid on Thursdays, so that is what the finance department  based their judgment on. For the future, if there is anything of that nature you wanted to change, your account manager is always there to help. We would be happy to move your days to Fridays instead. As well, you both signed contracts stating that that payment date was suitable for you both.


    Again, ******************, we sincerely apologize for your experience with us at Sports and Imports. As for your request for a refund, unfortunately, we are unable to return your deposit, as stated in your contract you and son both signed. I am attaching two of the contracts that were signed regarding a few of the complaints that you've had with us.
