In November 2023, a TransAmerica agent working through WFG (World Financial Group), ******** Puga *********, contacted me offering a position with WFG selling TransAmerica insurance. I took the position and become a licensed agent. ******** convinced me to purchase an IUL (index universal life insurance) policy from ************ through her, promising its many benefits. I purchased the policy after she trained me about it. I left my position in 2024 after purchasing the policy. I contacted TransAmerica in March, 2025 to get information about my policy. The *** informed me that ******** sold me a Term Life insurance policy, not an IUL policy. The *** informed me the two policies are completely different with no cash surrender value in Term policies and that ******** is no longer the Underwriter/Producer of the policy even though she was when she sold it. TransAmerica doesn't know where she went. Once I was told this, I messaged, emailed, and called ******** for information. She has yet to reply. The last time I was in contact with her was when I submitted my resignation in 2024. She moved to ***** in July 2024. What I'm requesting is for ******** to be contacted and held accountable for her unethical behavior of material misrepresentation against me and anybody else she may have screwed over as a licensed agent as well as either her of TransAmerica compensate me for all the monthly premium payments I made for a policy I did not agree to. My monthly payment amount is $24.42 and I've made 15 payment since November 2023. ********** contact information is below. Hi I have and are currently being scammed by World Financial Group. First of all I must explain the scam that I lived through. The scam is to recruit people into the group, and to tap into their network of people and get insurance sales from them, all while making it difficult to learn about the products or sales. They take these sales from you and then make it difficult to learn or grow, so to push you out of the group so they can take the policies YOU sold and collect money from them instead of you. They did not let me complete my own insurance classes for my license, they pushed and pushed me to give them my access so they could do the classes for me. Then they give people the answers for the state insurance test to memorize instead of learning how to do things proper and on your own. Now I've had enough and I have actively been trying to terminate my contract, however I have been given misinformation and incorrect emails addresses to contact. They will not let me terminate my contract or leave. I do not wish to be affiliated with *** in any way. Another bit of information they prey on people in need. I have a rare autoimmune condition on top of trying to find out if an where I have cancer. They recruited me right after my dad died of colon cancer.Business Response

I was referred to this company by a ******** connection who invited me to join a zoom meeting to learn about a supposed part-time job opportunity. During the Zoom call, I was pressured with exaggerated claims about how their course and this opportunity would give me a good career in finance. I was rushed into paying $125 for a background check/registration on 01/31/2025, with no prior mention of this fee until I was deep into the conversation then I found an excuse to disconnect myself and felt this didn't feel right and something was wrong. After that, I did some research of course even on the agents and this looks to me like a scam. Even the requirement for a license that was never clearly explained upfront. This makes me so ****** and deceived, as I genuinely believed this was a legitimate job prospect. I demand an immediate full refund of my $125 and the complete removal of all my personal information from your system, including my name, date of birth, Social Security number, address, and any other details you have collected.Business Response

I was cohered into purchasing a million policy which the details provided were not true and if I withdrew I loose $40,000 of my retirement savings. Its so form of multi level marketing where they describe its a tax shelter and retirement savings but does not disclose the insurance premiums increases and associated penalties. Additionally the scammers are paid 90% of the commission almost instantly.I have been coincided by 3 top financial firms that due to my age this form of Policy with such a high premium should have never been offered to me. These *** worked on me for 1 year. I have back up of my claims in writing. The premium for such policy is $1500 and will increase . I invested $3500 a mint due to the fact that stated front loading would Build value but I could decrease the premium I never was aware I would have to pay $1500 plus policy increases for the next 15!plus years which o told the broker I wanted to retire in the next 5 years. They failed to mentioned the critical care rider reduces the cash value. I could go on.Business Response

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding the cancellation of my prosperity Universal Life Insurance policy under the Wealth Plan, and the associated surrender charge, which has resulted in a negative balance for a refund.I contacted my advisor under whom I joined the policy for cancellation on 25 of february. But I was not made fully aware of the surrender charge of CAD ***** and the potential impact it would have on my refund balance. At no point during my discussions with the insurance agent or when purchasing the policy was I informed about these charges or their potential effect on the refund amount. Even he submitted my surrender form and after that I got to know that I will not get any refund. I am going through bad phase in my life and I was in need of money badly so I reached out to him so I could get at least whatever I have spent. I request a detailed breakdown of the following:The surrender charge applied to my policy. The calculation of my current policy balance, which appears to be negative. The reasons why I was not informed of the surrender charge or its implications at the time of cancellation.Additionally, I would like to understand what options are available to me at this stage. Given that the agent did not disclose this critical information, I believe there may have been a lack of transparency that warrants further review. I would like to complain and I would request for refund. Being an international student and alone in this country I will not be able to bear this stress. Please let me know how we can move forward with this issue. I would appreciate a prompt response to clarify the situation and discuss any possible resolutions, including a refund or a reassessment of the charges.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your timely response.Business Response

2/13/2025.WFG Administrative Processing Fee ********************* CA License (Pre-license, 52 Hours Online Fee with WFG Discount) $35.95;Start-Up Kit From Campaign to Builder $55;I was referred to an agent when I sought advice on handling taxes when starting a small business. I thought it was a simple consultation, but instead, I was tricked into signing up with ***. Within a few hours, I'd already spent more than $200 and was urged to attend a convention that would have made the cost over $700 (Tickets and hotel included). They offered me an office job in data entry, which initially enticed me since my current job only pays minimum wage. However, to do the data-entry job, they encouraged me to get the ************* license, attend workshops, and attend the World System Builder convention. All of that requires me to pay upfront, and they have nothing to do with the job offer I wanted. They rushed me to sign up and pay for these things without giving me proper information. I have given sensitive data to them, and I don't feel comfortable with them having it. What they promised had nothing to do with helping my small business, and the requirements they wanted me to complete for the job offer were unrelated. Everything was marketed as "making more money and being more successful," but they were vague about what you'll actually be doing. I did not want to be an agent, financial advisor, or recruiter for ***.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The respond is a bit too brief. I'm not given any proof of which code number is being terminated and how much I'm being refunded. They claim that I will receive the refund in ***** business days, but by that time this complaint would have been resolved. So I want to know what agent code was terminated, what am I receiving a refund for since I've paid for multiple fees, and how much it will be.

I was told by an agent that it could be developed into a part time job so I went to their office to understand more about it. While the in person meeting, I was constantly being brainwashed about how their course can prepare us for finance. I got rushed to paid $125 for the background check on 1/25. I found out I got scammed and this is a pyramid scheme. If you want to part time here, you need license and the so called ******************** workshops were the only thing they offered. I feel extremely angry and misled as I thought it would be a job opportunity. Nothing about the $125 fee was told until I went in person to their company. I need my full refund of $125 immediately, and all my personal information removed from your system, this includes my name, date of birth, Social Security number, address, and anything else you have on file.Business Response

On January 25, I was rushed and pressured into paying $125 to join what was described as a membership. An agent reached out to me, saying she wanted me to join her team at a finance company. I agreed to hop on a Zoom call, where she gave a long PowerPoint presentation about the company and then invited me to an in-person workshop to learn more. At the workshop, they kept pressuring and manipulating us, using pushy tactics to convince us to pay a $125 enrollment fee on the spot. I felt cornered and signed up, but when I got home and did some research, I discovered this company operates like an MLM pyramid scheme. Im extremely angry and feel completely misled. I joined thinking Id gain ******************** knowledge, but instead, its all about recruiting others and taking their money to earn commissions.I demand a full refund immediately, and I also want all my personal information removed from your system, this includes my name, date of birth, Social Security number, address, and anything else you have on file. This situation is unacceptable, and I feel scammed. You should not be targeting people with these kinds of dishonest tactics. I expect a resolution and confirmation via email that this has been handled. Your behavior is not only unethical, but it also erodes any trust people might have in your company. Fix this.Business Response
