      I was approached by one of my friends with a luring, exaggerated opportunity. I was shown the immense scope of building a career and was manipulated by so-called higher authorities. As I was having no job at that time, they saw that as their opportunity to brainwash me, and with their "introductory" presentation, they right away insisted me to make a payment of around $400. It's been quite a few months since I have given a good performance yet have not gained a single ***** out of the unrealistic goals they showed me. My friend who "recruited" me also betrayed me once I got enrolled and made the payment. Later on, when I urged him to cancel my enrollment and refund the amount I invested, he literally ignored my approach. I am really getting frustrated now with the pyramid system they are running, especially targeting newcomers to ******. All I am asking for is to get refunded with the compensation amount and the ************** I have invested to progress in the field. Thus I am willing to get a refund in a form of investment plus a compensation amount with atleast $1000.00 or else I am aiming to go ahead to make sure nothing like this happens with anyone else in the future.

      On July 29th, 2022, I had a meeting with one of the agents of WFG, and instead of one, there were two online, so I asked, if this is like an upline, in MLM, and the upline replied, we are not an MLM, and that this is regular commission based business side hustle and all. Later on, I asked again how am I going to make money and they were very vague on it. So when I was signing the final document, and right after that, it had the word "upline" in the contract and I said it mentions "upline" which means this is MLM, and that I DO NOT WANT TO GO AHEAD AND DO IT. I tried calling USA number, i requested the agent, and her upline, time and AGAIN, but they said they will see what can be done, but after 5 days i got email application was accepted. I kept telling time and again right after my signing that this is not right. This is MLM and I do not want to be part of it. Please help me bring resolution to my refund issue.

      I feel like I was mislead by this company and like others was invited to be an associate with WFG. Without any further explanation I was lured into paying $125 service and submit a background check. I do not feel I should be charged and would like to reverse my payment of this amount and my personal information such as social security email address and anything tied into that! Thank you.       08/02 charge to account for $125 to join ***, after later learning that the company is a multi-level marketing company that would require me to get licenses after 9 months of entering and sell to 3 other people. I did not want to join this company to sell, and I just wanted to learn information about personal finance. It was later that I did research and understood the nature of the company that I then realized what the *** associates who were recruiting me were telling me lies about "just join for education, you don't need to do anything else", which is absolutely not how the business model works. If I don't complete a certification, then I lose my money, and the business is for me to achieve a goal of selling term life insurance to 3 people in my family/connections by a certain time period. I want my membership with *** terminated and the $125 refunded.

      Date of transactions: 10/14/21- $100 08/03/22-$40 08/03/22- $29.95 I was approached by a mutual friend saying how lucrative this industry could be and how I could use the tools they provided to help generate $$$ on the side. I currently work as a loan officer, so was under the impression that by having this additional skillset would help strengthen not only my own financial awareness, but would also help me gain more business. After I paid the initial $125 for the background check, I received a termination letter on July 12th saying We are writing to notify you that because you were unable to become a licensed agent in the given time period, your access to *** Launch has expired and your agreement with World Financial Group Insurance Agency, LLC and its subsidiary agencies (collectively ***IA) has been terminated. If you still wish to become an agent, you will need to rejoin by, once again, applying through the *** Launch platform.Please note that if you reapply within 60 days of your termination date, 7/13/2022 12:00:00 AM, you will only be charged $40. Beyond 60 days, you will be charged the full application amount of $125 I paid the $40 dollars to reactivate my membership on 08/03/22, and then had to pay an additional $29.95 to take the courses.Upon further research, I emailed the agent that registered me originally and also their recruiting coordinator that I no longer wish to be involved with their company and would like a refund for the following:$100 I paid for the background check, $40 I paid to activate my account and the $29.99 for the training courses. I would also like all my personally identifiable information, social security number, address, phone number, and email removed from ***'s systems.My *** Code: 84LBL

      WFGIA has provided the best solution to solve this specific complaint.According to the complainant, she originally joined WFGIA and paid $100 (background check and administrative fee) with full personal consent in 2021 to gain additional skillset, strengthen not only her own financial awareness, but would also help expand her business being a loan officer. ********************* newly joined WFGIA have nine months to study and pass the life insurance exam to become a qualified insurance licensed agent. If the license was not acquired within the nine months window, an opportunity for renewal will be given if the associate would like to continue working on pursuing the license. In this situation, the complainant was given the opportunity to renew in July 2022 to continue with WFGIA platform and she completed the renewal paperwork and paid the renewal fee. After reviewing the complainants message on BBB, the $40 renewal fee paid on August 3rd,2022 has been refunded.

      It is in the consideration that WFGIA has already provided the proper solution to this complaint. Please kindly close out the case. Thank you and we appreciate the coordination in solving the concern.

      Yes, I renewed my account but wasnt aware of all the negative comments and over 600+ negative reviews of this company, all with the SAME issues. 

      i work full time as a loan officer doing mortgages, and never had the time to 1.) look into the company in entirety 2.) Had access to any of their platforms or even told what to do to get started once I paid the $100. It wasnt until I paid the renewal fee that I was granted access to their training hub. 

      So how is it fair that you didnt give me the resources that were supposed to be available to me 9 months ago to even try to get licensed?

      I was approached by a WFG mentor and on Saturday, June 18, 2022, I was invited to become an Associate with World Financial Group. Against my better judgment, I was lured to pay $125 for a background check. Upon further research, I no longer wish to be involved with the company and would like a refund. Upon my understanding, I was asked to pay $125 for a background check. Furthermore, I no longer wish to be involved with the company and would like a refund.       Sometimes in May 2021, I was introduced to WFG through my friend. On my first initial thought it was an interview it turned out they were recruiting me to be an agent. They made me pay $100 for what they said it was for background check. I was so naive not knowing that I am being trap in this business. They even sold their so called IUL which was so expensive. The reason why I bought it because I Was told how can I sell if I dont even have their product. When I looked back with my policy I realized that all the presentation they showed were all non guaranteed meaning money I was expecting were all lower amount in the guarantee. They were even making me pay errors and omissions which also so expensive. Thats when I realized to terminate my membership with WFG because they were not true to me. Now that I have successfully canceled my account with them they sent me this letter saying that I have outstanding balance. I already paid for membership now they are asking for cancellation fee. I didnt even use their marketing tools. They are all after the money. WFG IS TRULY A SCAM!!!According to our records, as of 4/6/2022 you have an outstanding debt in the amount of $(-146) that was not settled prior to your termination from and still owed to WFG. This balance can increase if there are any additional chargebacks and/or earn reversals processed in future commission cycles. Please note that failure to settle the outstanding debt may result in further action being taken.Pursuant to your Associate Membership Agreement, you are responsible for any current and future debt balance resulting from your activities while active with WFG and its affiliated companies. WFG reserves the right to exercise any and all legal rights and remedies available to collect outstanding debt, including but not limited to, collection agencies, third-party industry reporting services and arbitration.83DXB
