Got sweet talked into paying the $125 for background check and $35 for study materials to take a test that anyone could take to become a financial agent/broker. When a companys website starts off by explaining why its not an MLM/pyramid scheme, thats already huge red flag. Theyre constantly trying to explain themselves on why theyre not like other MLMs. IULs are not the only way to financial freedom, and they guilt trip you by saying how much this business helps families. I would like to request a refund asap! Still cant believe I got tricked.

5 starsBefore I started at WFG, I worked as a technician in the telecommunications industry. I worked long hours, unpaid overtime and still struggled to pay my bills. I knew I wanted better, and that my family and I deserved better. But I wasn't sure how I was going to make it happen. After being introduced to this company, I saw the opportunity as a great way to at least learn about finance. I like the idea of owning my own business but I wasn't confident it was for **** got my license after being introduced to the firm in about 4 months. This was around late August 2020. Things had gotten worse with my job and I decided to quit my job and pursue a career in finance at WFG full-time. Let me make it clear, this was not suggested to me. I took the initiative to take an extravagant leap of faith because I was determined to do something different to give myself and my family a chance.I don't get the negativity around building a list and talking to people that you know. I don't get the negativity around the business model. If you are looking for an opportunity I hope you seek out one that works and I can say with absolute certainty that this business model at WFG works. You may not understand it, you may not like it but not everyone understands you or like you. I hope you get my point.Today, I am a proud senior broker with the firm. We have helped and continue to help many families since being here. If you are looking for a great company where you can build a successful firm for you and your family, WFG is the place to do it. The coaching, mentorship, training opportunities, and associations here are world-class. Don't allow the fear of the unknown to allow you rush to make premature judgements. This is an entirely new endeavor and the learning curve can be quite step. However, if you are willing to learn and grow your mindset, you have the best chance of winning. I've been in the company going on two years now. I haven't made anything, all my family and friends advised me it was to good to be true, or just a scam. I didn't listen though, I continued to play the game and learn as much as i could about the business. In the time period of me being in the business I've invested so much. I haven't actually learned much how money works other than learning the rule of 72 and the different brackets that get taxed. You get pressed to make calls, told that you should join events even when you don't have enough to get by yourself. They tell you the first thing you need to do is get insurance the moment after you sign up for the team. Some people in the business are actually genuine others have greed. I've invest more than 3k and haven't seen a return. So I Advise everyone to hear my message and think about it deeply how you feel about doing the job. Think about how your leader makes you feel, if they empower you or give you in it for themselves vibesWorld Financial Group

At one point a time it sound legit i paid 129 for the class then they took a extra 30 they was saying they could help me get insurance licenses but when i started they was asking for personal information and it didnt seem right they even was asking for bank statements and 401k statements i would like a refund i back out and dont want nuthin else todo with them!World Financial Group

I told them l wanted a refund after 5 days of registration. I didnt like how the business sounded some parts didnt just make much sense to me it sounded like a pyramid. Hence l requested for my $157 refund back but they refused.World Financial Group

5 starsWFG is a company that makes sure that listens to you and gets to tailor your needs accordingly so that what you get is suitable and affordable. The fact that they take time to explain as much as possible and answer your questions so that you understand what best suits your situation is awesome. Many of these folks who are writing negatively reviews might have never been able to pass their licensing exams or are just lazy folks who thought that WFG was a place where free money is distributed. 1 starPyramid scam they made me put a list for recruiting and they try to sell to my friends and family. They also said this is the way if I want financial freedom to get rich I need to do this everyone I recruit. Dont join this MLM its worst and they only sell TransAmerica because it pays the most. Would give 0 stars if I could. Misleading and very manipulative company, I terminated my contract with the "Broker" of the office on 2/29 and was continually charged for months after for a platform that I was never introduced to or notified about that I needed to cancel.
