I had reservations from the beginning as the upline person asked me for 10 names of people that could be approached about insurance. I made a list but was internally convicted to only provide first names, not last names. He was not happy about that. Then, discovered that if I gave them the completed list THEY would approach people on my list as insurance leads because Id just started with the group and didnt have an insurance license yet. Therefore, this would be 10 potentially warm leads for the upline person that I couldnt take advantage of which is why they wanted full names, etc. How would a supposedly integral company use such deceitful and deceptive tactics? Also, paid money to attend an event in *********** which I thought would be informative about insurance. Quite the contrary, it was all about team building which I later learned is how the upline people make residuals. They even included a few speakers that gave emotional, riveting accounts of how WFG/WSB supposedly changed their lives when in actuality this was part of the ruse. I was so upset that I left the event early. I feel like Ive been duped. This whole set-up is a horrible infringement upon peoples resources and an insult to intelligence. And, they try to legitimize it under the guise of being insurance professionals and financial advisors. Im not entrusting anyone with my finances unless that have a plethora of credentials including extended study/experience in finance. I do not advise engagement with this organization at all. I want every ***** of the money that I invested in this farce of a company back!

I wrote all the **** exams and passed, then did all the provincials and passed and received my license. All the way along I asked for information as to what the income would be only to be given generic responses and that it wasn't an MLM. Well, surprise, surprise, the first "tier" makes 29% of the actual income or however they phrase it. My "senior marketing director" makes over 60%...hmmm but nope they still claim it's not MLM. Um....hello??? This is the definition of MLM! I was furious. I asked and asked and asked and all I got was "you will make a lot money". Another classic phrase for MLM. I'm so disappointed. I spent hundreds, if not thousands to invest in this company and when I said goodbye, they kept charging my credit card! I can't say enough awful things about this company. So crooked and deceptive. They keep you in the dark and call you things like "champion" and "winner" and just butter you up to keep in the game. Utterly dispicable!World Financial Group

A pyramid scheme. Do not bother wasting money on the fees you're forced to pay. It was promoted to me as a financial services opportunity. In reality, it's nothing more than ******* insurance. Avoid.I request that my fees are refunded.World Financial Group

I fell for the whole process and ended up paying a $157 "background check" fee that I was pressured into paying for. I had to screen share through the entire application and had to pay during that time. I really hope they see this and refund my $157. BEWARE IT'S AN MLM RUN AWAYWorld Financial Group

I would like a refund on the $125 background check fee that I paid for on 04/11/2024. I was mislead into thinking I would be advising people with their finances and was rushed through filling out my information. I did not receive enough information upfront on the nature of the "job." I will not be moving forward with the company as the things that I read after my initial meeting were alarming. I requested a refund from the individual who recruited me and was told that she would look into it. It has been a week and I have not heard back. I look forward to hearing back from someone in regards to refunding my $125 payment as well as deleting my information from your system. Thank you.World Financial Group

90% of the people I met here were insurance salesman masquerading as financial advisors, or as they said, "Financial Professionals."If you have a desire to get in the financial industry, find a local financial advisor that gets paid based on time and or growth on the account, not sales, and network with them and ask the best way to crack open the field. Besides, what you get here is expensive whole life and universal life insurance, with terrible costs to the consumer.I had a friend convince me I should join up. I had a bad feeling about it, but he is a good guy, so what the heck? Their process is to have you buy insurance through them, (although they say you don't have to, there's a TON of pressure to do so,) then make a list of all your friends and acquaintances and invite them to join you for a harmless meeting to learn "how money works." The meeting then is a whole slew of sales tactics designed to push and lead the person to a conclusion that they desperately need your product, which just so happens to be life insurance. The flagship of WFG insurance is IUL (indexed universal life insurance). Terrible product. Just horrible. If you need to read up more on that, just spend some time perusing the internet.They will claim that all the rich people in the world have IUL, and some may, but go down to your local high end restaurant or golf course and ask the people there what kind of insurance they have, and almost none will tell you IUL.If you join, and sell this insurance to a few people, but inevitably quit because of the insanely scammy environment you will get an email from WFG saying you owe them money. Usually this is because the people who bought insurance under your name cancelled their policy and WFG is not going to just let their terrible product lose them money. They are going to hold you to that.If you made it this far, I'm begging you. RUN LIKE HELL! Dont ruin current relationships chasing the dream WFG tries to sell you. WFG is for independent contractors, business owners. The goal is for you to get full control of your business and be independent. Your able to call WFG, AMS, ***** or the 250 companies if you need help and they'll be happy to help you. If you have an employee mindset and your not growing this is not a good work place for you.We work with, A 250 companies like TransAmerica, Pacific Life, Nationwide, Global Atlantic to find the best company and accounts for our clients and we have a lot of happy clients. 4 starsMy husband and I are grateful for our WFG mentors and financial education. This company found us when we were at our lowest point in our financial journey. We feel empowered through the education & various financial products offered to us. I gave 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. When both of our Dads passed away during the pandemic in 2021, the policies you put in place paid put and saved our family financially. The knowledge and understanding we gain about how money works allow us to navigate through the darkest times in our lives from losing 2 parents back to back. Thank you, WFG!Review fromRoss M

1 starI would like to know if there is a non-compete clause in effect from the date I was hired by World Financial Group Insurance Agency, **** I see that I have nine (9) months to complete the *** launch process and obtain my states life insurance license. I also see that if I do not earn my license within this timeframe that I will need to re-apply with WFGIA. Do I need to wait out the 9 months and then obtain my license to not have to deal with any action by WFG due to not wanting to work under them or can I get licensed and work for another insurance agency that acknowledges their employees needs/situation? I dont care about any kind of refund. I would just like to know if I can work for another company who perhaps makes their newly hired employees feel welcome rather than one who doesnt follow up with them at all. Its been months, why would I make a company my priority who doesnt even make me an option regarding a situation out of my control.
