This business is over charging for out of state sales tax which they charge the seller who pass on the incorrect taxes charged to the buyer. I have attempted to contact Gun Broker by Email 3 times and they have failed to respond in a timely matter. I don't know if this local *******/******* violation or a Federal Violation of Tax Fraud. I registered with Gunbroker.com so that I could order from the website. After I made a purchase the website did not allow me to complete the purchase because my shipping and billing address is different on my card than what the registration address was. I am military currently stationed in ******** and all my billing addresses are from Virginia as that is where my family lives and where I plan to return to after this tour is over. My current resident address is an unsuitable location to ship any items from Gunbroker.com because it is an apartment complex and there are no secure locations to leave packages so the postal services leaves them in the open by the front door, so I provided a secure shipping address to which the items can be shipped. I contacted customer service and they requested orders proving I am in ******** which I provided. Now they are requesting additional unnecessary documents to prove I am in ********. They are refusing to cooperate with me and making the situation worse. I have a pending order that has not been paid for in over 14 days because customer service is taking so long to respond and now avoiding solving the issue at every opportunity.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I have ** tected the seller and they had redirected me to Gunbroker.com customer service claiming they cannot sol e the issue in anyway. If this is all on the seller, why then have I been going through this arduous process with Gunbroker.com customer support to change my registration address? What I want is for Gunbroker.com to change my registered shipping and billing address on my ac**unt to the two addresses I have previously stated so that I can **mplete the purchase.

The seller has already informed me multiple time that the have attempted to correct the address issue on their end and cannot change it any further. I have also updated my address in my profile according to your step by step The attachment shows the error I receive everytime I try to pay. It specifically states to contact customer service. The address that I REGISTERED the account with is not an available option for me to change.

I attempted to purchase what I thought was a good deal on a pocket knife. Turns out the site is fraudulent. The site claims my card was declined, while my bank shows they took the money from me. I contacted the site, the response was basically "sue ******** claim they are no more than a "classified ad" for the "vendors" and have nothing to do with the charges. But yet, the site has buy it now, auctions, ect, kind of like **** or amazon. The pay links seem to from their site. It all looks legit, but is obviously not.I want my money back, since I am not going to be recieving what I paid for, and expose these fraudsters for what they are.I have disputed the charge with my bank, and reported this as fraud.Business Response

The buyers CC declined. When a buyer enters the card information it will automatically do an authorization then check the card. In this case the card declined and the order was abandoned and the authorization was never captured. There was not a charge on the card that we can see. We consider this item closed.Customer Answer

They billed me for a gun I did not sell after requesting a cancellation due to nonpayment on the side of the buyer. I was then told it was gone. Then 2months after selling a gun they charge me for selling both. No one will call me and the only info they give is a screenshot of my bill. Which does show 2 charges even though I should only have 1 selling charge. It also chows a credit request for one of the charges.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I want to speak to the company before I agree. I do no think these are accurate charges and the fact they will not call as requested is sketchy. To me it screams guilt by avoidance. They have my number and atleast 4 emails with a call requested. I won't just agree because you have a screen shot. Of course it shows the fraudulent charge if it came from the company itself.

We do not offer phone support. In the support email the user included a screenshot of their fees. The credit was on their they have been given instructions on how to access their billing information. Two statements were send on the 4th of the month one for the fees account one for tax remittance to their email address on file and all of this information is on their account dashboard.Customer Answer

To whom it may concern:I won an auction on March 7th, 2023. I attempted to pay the ************ away using GunBroker's credit card checkout. Their system was not working correctly, and it did not accept my credit card information. I used two different credit cards from two different banks. I checked with the banks, and there are no problems with my credit card accounts. I have reached out to GunBroker twice through their "submit a request", but have not heard back from them. They have no customer service support available by phone or chat.GunBroker's credit card checkout will not allow me to reenter my credit card information.
