I ordered two of the diagnostics devices from this company but never order a premium subscription for the amount of $99.99. I was charged $99.99 on March 25, 2025, to my debit card and would greatly appreciate having it refunded back to the card that was charged. There add is very deceptive and misleading as it doesn't mention that you have subscribed to their premium service when you order their device. The device itself is worth the price but the diagnostic premium is not. Please help me get my funds back from this company.Business Response

Thanks for contacting the FIXD customer support team! I am sorry for the confusion, but we do not mention the premium subscription being required in our ads because it is completely optional. You are able to purchase the sensor, and scan your vehicle with our app without the optional subscription. The subscription does come with additional features, but again, these are not required to use the sensor.
I have issued you a refund for the subscription since you were within our 30 day money back guarantee. I have also emailed you a prepaid return label so that you may start the return process to get a refund on the sensor.

I bought a Fixed device, don't remember the exact date maybe 2 years ago. When I purchased the device they added a subscription charge on my credit card. Immediately I called and canceled the subscription. Now they have charge me again, their reason is, that I used some of the services. When you use this device it offers the subscription every time. I never hit that figure to accept. I want this company to fully refund this charge from by credit account. Again, I've had problem with this company before over the same matter.Business Response

I was trying the FixD app and was charged $49.99 the app sign up said it could be canceled at anytime. I tried to cancel the same day and still being charged the full year subscription. This was not evident during the process. I canceled because the app did not report as expected. After cancellation I would expect a refund.Business Response

Since you were charged, you would have been presented with the option to either disable auto-renew, which means cancelling your billing cycle so you will not be charged again in the future, or the option to get a refund, which also cancels your subscription.

This company was shady from the start by charging me $100 when I never authorized it - I assumed I didnt read some super hidden fine print somewhere (though Im very good at understanding what Im signing up for in advance - so this really confused me). I had to download their FIXD app in order to use their device I purchased. In the app, they required me enter in my credit card information in order to even set up an account. The $100 was told to be charged after 7 days of signing up for a free trial of their premium service. I created an account, but never signed up for Premium. However I received a charge days after creating my account and now had Premium. Again, in my shock, I assumed I had missed something so I begrudgingly left it alone. Fast forward to the annual renewal. I made sure to cancel well in advance of another $100 charge, but tadaaa - I got charged anyway. Thank goodness my credit card declined it (which tells me Im not the first to have this issue bc I have a handful of recurring charges with this bank - so a $100 charge wouldnt be out of the ordinary).After speaking with my bank about this and receiving the business number for the merchant FIXD, I made a call to FIXD. I requested my information and credit card to be removed and an email confirmation stating this is completed. The *** said it would take ***** hours to receive an email (which I find wild), so I wanted to record the conversation then and have proof of my request. FIXD was recording our call - and I pressed record on a recording app on my end. Then I told the *** I was too recording this call and asked for her to ***eat what she had just told me. She said shes not allowed to be recorded and hung up on me. Im less concerned with another fraudulent charge and more concerned with how many people they are scamming with these shady practices. I consider myself a tech savvy person, so I cant imagine the numerous people (around the world I believe) that theyre manipulating.Business Response

Today 3/18/25, I was charged $99.99 for a Premium Subscription. I did have a premium subscription for FIXD, but 1/24/25, I canceled. I never did get a confirmation email. FIXD sensors website is very clunky to say the least, and when I clicked cancel and confirmed, it took me back to the homepage advertising their product. I know this date because it was on my Rocket Money to-do list, and it was my dads anniversary of his death. He was a mechanic and died when I was 13 10 years ago, so it was convenient for me. Fast forward, I wake up to a charge on my account. I log in and see manage subscription on the email. ***. This time, it tries to get me to stay. I am irritated but continue to go through the process thinking there may be a refund process. ****. But I did get an email this time! Tried emailing support and got an automated message for managing subscriptions and refund requests being able to be generated through that. Clicking on said link just says my subscription is canceled. I would like a refund. My features have not been working for a few months, hence why I was cancelling it in Jan. I had grown irritated with features being changed from when I first joined, and it seemed too much to pay right now for what I could get. Love the sensor. Just not the premium features enough to feel a return value. I also wish their website was better. I almost never joined because it just looked scammy. If they had another way of doing it, I feel more people wouldnt have to look up if it was legit (I had to).Business Response

I signed up for a free trial on March 3rd, 2025, and set reminders on my phone to remember to cancel this trial - as I knew I could not afford the fee of $99 plus extras. I cancelled on March 8th, and also double checked on March 9th, and it showed that it was cancelled. However, on March 10th in the middle of the afternoon, I was charged 108.49$, which over drafted my checking account. I feel this is a very unfair charge- as I was responsible on my end and cancelled in plenty of time. I contacted FIXD several times and only get vague replies of how to cancel. There is no phone number and not a real customer service **** that assists a person. This is very upsetting, as I am on a very fixed income.Business Response

Like many others who have complained about FIXD Automotive charges, I ordered three sensors from them which I have not yet had the time to use. My complaint is that I know am repeatedly being charged a recurring $99.00 charge for a service I was not aware I signed up for.
