    I bought the **** device for $21.76 back in earlier in December and never subscribed for the Premium subscription and to my surprise I was billed for the annual premium of $108.86 . I tried to contact them by email, telephone and no responses. Please help ***** ******* ********************

    I purchased a FIXD device/scanner for my car. On 12/27/2024, I was charged $105.79 for a premium service that I did not sign up for. I messaged FIXD and they advised this was a renewal and that their "policy" was to not issue refunds. This promtpted me to go back and check if I have been cahrged before. Sure enough, I was charged $99.00 on December 27, 2023, as well for a subscription I did not sign up for. I purchased this as it was advertised. I did not purchase premium services that were never wanted nor never used.

    Same as others here, I simply bought a physical FIXD device which I never even used but gave them my email address when ordering the device. I only use the Apple ecosystem and this FIXD subscription does not follow Apple standard and cannot be cancelled through ***** subscription services negating Apple Store terms and conditions. I never received email communication that a charge would occur. Once the ***** unauthorized charge hit my credit card on 12/30/24, I called immediately and waited 45 minutes to speak with ********* in sales after being looped through 3 voice mail menus telling me to go online for help. She said I would be refunded, but I never received a credit to my card nor did I receive any email communication even though she verified my email address 3 times. I called back a week later and was hung up on 3 times after waiting another 30 to 45 minutes each time. I heard background noise two times so it was not a technical glitch. Someone consciously made the choice to hang up on me. I finally talked to the same person a second time, *********. This time, she sent me a multi-layered cancel form on email but told me she did not have the authority to issue a refund. She said I needed to email a request for a refund to support @***********. Shocker - the email request for a refund was denied by **** ***** at 1am on Friday night. The California phone number my credit card showed to call doesnt match the Georgia company headquarters address-another red flag. Also, neither of these employees names I spoke to exist on ******** so Im doubting their validity. The subscription is a shameful scam. Leaders according to LinkedIn: **** *******, ********* *****, **** ****, *** ****** and **** Bosco *******

Since the subscription was not eligible for a refund, the agents were accurate in that they were not able to issue the refund themselves since it was against policy. The refund needed managerial approval, which has since been granted and a refund for the subscription renewal has been issued. The subscription has also been canceled so you will not be charged again in the future.

    Through an ad, on December 28, 2024, I submitted an order for 2 of the **** items and tried to opt out of the renewal process and the purchase process, and the online screen froze on me, and would not allow me to delete my information. I received 2 of the **** items via **** on January 4, 2025. On January 11, 2025, FIXD AUTOMOTIVE, INC., charged my bank debit card $99.99 for a service I never agreed to and had previously tried to opt out of the entire *********** NO TIME, DID I EVER RECEIVE AN EMAIL COPY OF THE TRANSACTION AND NO INVOICE ACCOMPANIED THE ***** RECEIVED.I believe that FIXD AUTOMOTIVE operates fraudulently in the manner in which they advertise and lock the screen when a person attempts to delete their information and delete the ********** FROM PKG: **** TRACKING: 9261 2902 0740 7354 3411 5465 97 ; MMID #: ****************** ; PACKAGE I[ #: LP7E60E267DB3 ; COST CENTER #: **** ; I have not opened the items received as they demand putting an app on my phone and I do not put app's on my phone. I want to return the items received back to FIXD AUTOMOTIVE and received full restitution of the initial $43.56, and the other charge of $99.99, for a total of $143.55. I HAVE NO INTENTION, WHATSOEVER, OF USING THE MERCHANDISE.

    I bought a FIXD scanner device for my car. I thought that was all I purchased. Little did I know that they signed me up for some premium subscription service.I see other complaints on this site for exactly the same thing! I found this out today when I was charged $99.99. I immediately contacted them thinking it was some fraudulent charge. They said I never canceled my free subscription so they charged me and would not refund me. I never used the service or have any intention of using it. I got an email weeks ago, but it looked like spam. I never used their service or intend to. I don't even know what the premium subscription is. When you buy a physical product who would think it comes with a hidden charge. Then when I cancelled the subscription I had to go through 6 screens confirming my subscription. They won't refund me.This company is taking advantage of people with deceptive practices. Their message to me was that they refuse to refund!As you can see I had no idea I was subscribed to anything.

    In January of 2024 I activated a FREE trial for their subscription because I needed to read a code for something. After I was done I canceled the subscription which was NOT easy, I had to jump through hoops just to get this canceled. Here comes January 8th I see a charge of $99.99 from Fixd. I was NOT notified of a payment thwr was about ti be processed. I proceeded to email and call them and got ignored. I then reached out to ****** and they got me my refund and canceled the subscription that was supposed to be canceled already. Now a year later I see the exact same charge again! This is ridiculous. Your subscription was supposed to be canceled. I emailed their support but I'll probably get ignored by them again socI contacted ****** too.

    I purchased an OBD2 sensor from FIXD Automotive on 12/23/2024 after viewing an ad for it on ********. The OBD2 sensor arrived sometime around 12/29/24 (I dont remember the specific day). I downloaded the app to my phone and ran a scan on my car. I investigated the codes and their explanations. I also investigated the various features of the app. Unknown to me, there must have been an agreement to subscribe. I didnt see it. I found out about it when my banks fraud division contacted me (on an automated line) about two declined transactions against my card. I responded to the declined transaction prompts by selecting the option that the declined transactions were NOT authorized by me. I had no idea they would be coming. I unsubscribed from the unknown subscription. The way one does this is to put in your email address, which results in a link being sent. When the link arrives, it immediately tries to prevent you from unsubscribing. This is suspicious because I was simply trying to contact the company, so how did they just happen to assume that I wanted to unsubscribe? It must happen quite a lot to them. The other irritating thing is I had to navigate multiple screens offering me 50% off the subscription, then 50% off of that. Very customer-hostile and a sign that the company is just trying to rake money in from unsuspecting consumers. I finally was able to unsubscribe.The result is that my card has been blocked and now I have to go through the hassle of getting a new card from my bank. Im also out the original $21.71, I guess, since the device is most likely useless without a subscription. I certainly dont want to use it and I removed the app which could be a massive security compromise from my phone.

As you can see the subscription was added to your order. When checkout was completed, you agreed to the billing terms which states the subscription will be billed after the 2 week free trial. As you mentioned, the subscription charge did not get processed and the subscription was canceled.

     

    As for the sensor, we still offer a lot of great free features in the app. For instance, you can scan you vehicle, view diagnostic reports, see live engine data, keep track of maintenance intervals, and more! All without the premium subscription. If you are still not interested in keeping the sensor, please use the prepaid return label that I emailed to you separately. Once the sensor is returned, our team will process your refund.
