This company is trying to solicit a response to their marketing mail by doing these dishonest things:1- Putting 2nd NOTICE in red on the envelope (it's not a 2nd Notice - it's a first notice.2- Making the envelope look all official with "Important Document Enclosed" typed on it 3- Putting a response form in the envelope that looks like a government tax form *********** who uses these deceptive practices will never have my business, or even get a response.

    Dear ******************,

We have receiv** your concerns via the Better Business Bureau. Thank you for taking the time to express them

Distribution Processing Center provides mail services on behalf of commercial entities that market legitimate products and services to the general public. We mail for many insurance companies and agents. Our mailers are requir** to be generic and not reference any specific plan information because we are not sure at the time of mailing which company/agent will receive the return** lead. So, by law we are requir** to be generic in our messaging. Also, since we are not the licens** insurance agent we cannot talk about specific plans. We mail generically and then forward leads to agents who are interest** in buying leads in the geographic areas in which leads have come in. That is also why there is no insurance company/agent list** on the mailer as it may not go to that company/agent. Again, since we cannot be specific to a plan we have to speak in general terms.

It is not our desire to send mail to anyone who wishes not to receive it so first and foremost let me apologize for any concerns our mailing has caus** you.

I hope that we have address** your concerns. We have opt-** you out of our future mailings as per your request. If you wish to opt out of mail similar to this, it is best to use a national DNM registry such as DMAChoice (DMAChoice.org)

This scam is meant to look like its official benefits for residence of ************************ and in the smallest letters possible is disclaims that its not a government agency. It couldnt be more obvious that this is intended to scam people into believing that it is a government agency.

    Dear ******************,

We understand that you are upset about getting multiple mailings, however as we mentioned, we are only one company of many that mail for Mortgage Protection. We are Distribution Processing Center (DPC) and do NOT mail under any other name.  You have been added to OUR Do Not Mail List effective November 4, 2022 -- so you will not receive mail from us. However, you will likely receive mail from other mailers with which we are NOT associated.  Much of the mail looks exactly the same but is being mailed from many different vendors. The only way to prevent mail like this being sent to him is by registering with a National Do Not Mail list.

Helpful resources include National Do Not Mail List: ************** manages the national do not mail list. You enroll by entering your name and address and selecting your mail preferences. The **************************** dmachoice.org helps the consumer manage what type of mail they would like to receive. All marketing organizations that are members of the *** must follow the ***choice guidelines.Data providers who sell the lists must comply with Do Not Mail registries and that is the best way to ensure all mailers do not have access to your information. Your other option is https://www.OptOutPrescreen.org.

While we understand your frustration, we can only remove you from OUR mailing lists. Rest assured that has been done. Please understand that we are not responsible for other mail you have received or will receive in the future. We have no desire to mail to individuals that do not want our mail as that simply wastes our clients money.  We encourage you to follow up with the National Do Not Mail List or OptOutPrescreen to have your concerns addressed completely.

I am rejecting this response because:

This clearly is intentional misleading and Ill say it again, its a scam. Just because they are selling something doesnt mean that this company is legitimately conducting these sales upfront. The name (DISTRIBUTION CENTER) is absurd and shows the company intent to mislead. It doesnt reflect selling insurance, it disguises selling anything. Just like the letter addressing ******************** citizens, its meant to seem non-corporate. Its unethical and any denial just further shows how disrespectful this company has to those they sell insurance to others known as victims of this scam.

    Sincerely,

I received a 'SECOND NOTICE' for the first time and it wasn't to inform me of anything. It was telling me that I was entitled to more benefits regarding life insurance. It was neither needed or wanted. What a poor attempt to get someone to open a letter which they did not solicit. When a company doesn't have the nerve to put THEIR name as the sender, I will not respond. Poor marketing in my opinion.

As soon as I purchased a new home this scam of a business sent me forms about "Important Benefits Information" and "Second Notice | Time Sensitive" requesting more information only knowing the public load information about the sale of the house.Positively disgusting behavior to prey on new home owners and you are being reported for mail fraud.
