I purchased my heating and air system from Coolray a couple years ago and I have them tune it up. Today ***** and ******** came in and provided amazing service. Both were respectful of my property and amazing at explaining the service they were providing They also gave me recommendations that will help keep my system to perform. Coolray used to be a good company. But all they do is have their people come in and tell you that you need to upgrade for air when they are checking your heat by Jan. ***** after Jan prices are going up 45% and you will need new copper. This is not the company I want to be with anymore. Also you schedule a appointment for one date and they call you to tell you they are changing it due to calls in the area of people with no heat. Maybe have need to be trained for better ***************** Ask first don't demand that you need to change the appointment. No wonder why their employees are always quiting. After my maintenance contract is done I'm looking for someone else.Coolray Heating & Air Conditioning

Thank you for your review, there are times we have to reschedule your maintenance appointments, we only do this on extreme temperature days that customers with 1 systems have no heat or no cooling, we often compensate our customer for these inconveniences. As far as the replacements on the units, I can't speak to due to I am unable to look up your account. 1 starI used cool ray about 4 times. The first time was ok because I brought the maintenance package. One guy was trying to fix the pan overflow and did damage to my property. The other guy put in the wrong filter. This last experience was outrageous. They quoted me first 1200$ and then 2100$. I declined. I researched the part they said I needed and it was like 300$ to 500$. Labor cant be that much. I called someone else and they charged me 700$ and it took him 45 mins. Cool ray is ridiculous I would never use them again. They take advantage of the customers because they have to pay for their overcharge. CRAZY.Review fromCynthia J

I am a senior single homeowner who has lived in same house 18 yrs. I purchased a carrier hvac system for $12,500. Coolray company also includes Mr. ******** I had an outside garden spicket needed replaced. The plumber arrived gave me quote and i accepted. He charged me $450.00 to change out a outdoor spicket. He was here less than 30 minutes. He may have turned off water under crawl space.. He quickly removed spicket and replaced. I noticed behind the spicked he put a piece of white rubber around to secure. The water cutoff is in the crawl space and he reduced the water pressure to 20. Not happy about that either. My complaint is Mr. ******* now advertises a $79.00 waived service fee if work is performed. When i asked for explanation of why $450.00 cost on my replace spicket i was told just to drive the truck to my property is $250.00 I felt ripped off. The accounting office did give me a $50.00 refund. Surely a plumber who is just hourly would have been to my satisfaction. Starting to look again i have a back of house spicket needs replaced. Do not recommend Mr. ********Coolray Heating & Air Conditioning

This repair was made in August 2023, Ms. paid $413.77 for the repairs, we have an estimate up front that was approved to move forward. She was not happy with the price after the fact, after the repair, she called and stated she was not happy with the cost, we gave her a $50 discount under customer satisfaction. We attempted to explain we are a flat rate company that did not charge by the hour and the work we did came with a 2 year parts warranty and 1 year labor warranty.
