      I am writing to formally express my grievance and appeal regarding the recent dental procedure performed on my family and I at Pinova Dental and Braces in January 2024. Before the procedure, I was assured by the Office Staff that my insurance, ********** Blue Shield, would cover the entire cost of my family's Dental Cleaning and checkup and my dental bridge to my lower chaw installation. Based on this assurance, I proceeded with the treatment. However, I was recently informed by my insurance provider that they will not cover the full cost of the procedure. This unexpected financial burden has caused me considerable distress and inconvenience.I am requesting that Pinova Dental and Braces take immediate action to rectify this mistake. Specifically, I expect your office to either cover the additional costs or assist in negotiating with my insurance provider to ensure the procedure is fully covered, as initially confirmed by your staff.They also sent all the billing to the collections office. My family's Dental cleaning is 981 dollars My procedure is ***** Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious matter.Sincerely ***** A. ******

      I took my daughter to them because I was worried about an issue with the enamel of her teeth. I started to notice that my daughters teeth appeared clear or see through. One particular tooth that I was worried about was her right, upper molar. It appeared that her molar was not completely filled in on the inside of her tooth, I could see her gums. I brought the issue to their attention, and they advised me that it was just a lack of enamel due to a bone disease that my daughter was born with. I explained to them that I already spoke with her pediatrician and they referred me to a dentist for her which was Kool Smiles/******* Dental. They reassured me that was the issue and to use fluoride toothpaste with her. I followed their directions, but after a while I began to notice that her two front teeth began to have that same clear/see through appearance. I made her another dentist appointment and again, they reassured me it was just a lack of enamel due to her bone disease. Not too long after that, I noticed that her teeth began to chip and break off. Again, I got the same information from the dentist. I decided to reach out to another dental group and request a second opinion. As a result of kool smiles negligence, my daughter has ended up getting an infection in her gums and had 6 teeth pulled within a span of 4-6 months!

      I have two children who started orthodontist and dental treatment here. I provided state insurance upon dental exam, which covers all preventative care, such as cleaning, X-rays, fillings ect. Once at the orthodontist appt I provided private insurance as state insurance didnt cover orthodontist care due to my children not scoring high enough on exam.. on 2-3 dates both insurance were charge for the same services. I was charged out of pocket for a service my private insurance covers after being told they didnt. My children were dismissed without explanation or contact. I made multiple attempts to get them scheduled after missing one appt. Theyve billed and received 1500+ from my insurance for treatment and I auto paid $999+ My kids were scheduled for 11/25 after finally getting someone on the phone. I went in on 10/24 to try and get their appt moved up and was told my kids were dismissed after being paid over 2000 for services not rendered . Force to find another orthodontist and cant use my lifetime maximum on my insurance coverage. Its fraud

      My daughter had 4 crowns done at this location. I have insurance but was charged upfront the cost and was advised I would be refunded the additional upon completion of payment from the insurance. The services were on March 8, March 28, April 5, and April 18. I paid ****** a visit. After the insurance paid their portion I was owed a refund of ****** per visit. I have contact the billing department May 23, July 9, Aug 19, Sept 11, Sept 25, Oct 22 and then Oct 28. I emailed the *** to them on May 23 and July 9th. As of today I am still awaiting them to refund me the $1,326.64 that the overcharged me for the visits. If I owed them this amount they would of sent me to collections. Maybe I should open an LLC and back bill them for the total owed plus the interest I would of paid on a credit card then when they have not paid me in 30 days send it to a collection company. This is just not a good business practice. If you are going to bill me upfront and advise me that I will be refunded as soon as the insurance claim is processed and paid then follow your word. It has been 4 months since you received payment from the insurance, yet I have spent over 4 hours on the phone and 7 calls to you with no results. Attached are 3 of the 4 statements. I still need to locate the 4th one.

      I been trying to get this billing situation handled for month and months since I found out i had supposedly owed money for something I was told was taken care of from jubilee dental. I had started getting collection notices and had never received a bill for any services I had gotten but continued to get collections notices. More over been trying to talk to doctor *** did the services ******* *********-******* and also talk to the office manager ***** ****** at ******* Dental but keep getting told they will make a note and have them get back to me and it's never been done. Went up to office several times trying to get the situation resolved and the same thing is always said and nothing done. They are being un co-operative even tried to have them do pier to pier with P&R Dental Strategies and they told me the day they called office neither the doctor or office manager wanted to talk to them as well the phone was being passed around and they phone hung up after told a couple of words.Was advised after that only thing to do is file a complaint to see if they will be willing to talk after that was done.

      Ok first off they never answer the phone and they are sitting at the desk ai know this because I was standing outside and just wanted to call to verify something and they was just sitting there in their phones.The front desk informed me that my insurance did not cover exam cleaning or etc but I called my insurance and they informed me that it dis cover it and why would they say ******* has been an ongoing issue with them for months your front desk employees do not so there job.

      I had a contract with jubliee dental for retainers ( orthodontic care) and dental care. My contract was over an 18 month period and the complete amount was $3950. I paid everything. I asked for a refund for the 3 months I wasnt seen by the dentist( orthodontist) because they would cancel my appointment. The refund should have been for $600. The refund was accepted but for the last 3 months Ive contacted them and they say they will help and then I wont hear anything from them. I havent received anything and they continually say that it is being processed. I dont feel Im being helped. ********************* the ortho director for the west region has been the one I keep in contact with. Hes delegated this to managers and other personnel over emails and etc. but still nothing.

      ***** has had her braces on for over six years. On August 28th of 2024 my daughter was refused service. We sat in the office for 2 1/2 hours before being seen. Ive been telling them for the longest she has to have the braces removed by September because she leaves for basic training. Two days prior to the appointment I called and talked to the office manager ******** to make sure everything was in order with the plans for the removal of her braces by her last. ******** stated to me everything was as planned. Once we get to the back, I asked **************** about the plan to make sure everything was in order because I overheard the assistant saying that it wasnt any notes in the system for my daughter appointments. So I stated the plan that was told to me by ******** the office manager. **************** stated hes the doctor and we dont need to ask ******** anything. So I started telling him what was told to me **************** stated do you want the service. I said yes, I just need to know what is the plan with removing her braces he said again do you want the service. I said yes, he then said well end of discussion. I then said, but I really need to know. He said Im not servicing you today now you can make another appointment and come back then he walked out. It was a young lady that was in the room that was assisting him I said what did I do wrong all I was trying to do is find out about my daughter treatment. After that, ***** manager, ************************* walked in I start telling her what was going on. She said oh yeah I remember this situation I talk with you last time, my daughter said no that wasnt her that was my auntie. Then ****** said, what would you like for me to do? ****** was able to get me an appointment for September 5th but she stated its only for removal that they dont have enough time to mold her teeth so that shell be able to receive a retainer. I paid for the braces and service in full a couple of years ago, in my contract, I paid for a retainer.

      My children are now 16 and 14.... they have been attending this location since they were 3 and 4..I always scheduled there appointments together for convenience during school and work....in the past 3 years I have made multiple appointments only to have a phone call the day of or before and cancel or ask to reschedule... this is so inconvenient for a single working mother.. also when you call they send you to a call center where you then get hung up on my rude customer service ******* Something also needs to be done about the extensive long waits it makes no sense.....

      Been over a year since had teeth pulled been almost 2 years now my dentures still weren't right they keep canceling my app and I was told my app for Aug 31 was canceled but when I call corporate they said my app has not been canceled ******* put me on hold never came back to phone
