AAA website allows to do everything online but does not let you cancel their service online. If buying a policy is allowed to do online. so should the cancelation be. Why to make it hard to cancel a policy?Business Response

Im currently still dealing with my issue!! I requested a tow for my vehicle on Friday, October 18, 2024 between 4-4:30pm. It is current Sunday, October 20, 2024 about 2:10pm and still no car!! Ive been calling for the last 2 days to only be constantly told theyre looking for someone. What am I paying for?? Im used to the tow taking some time, but 2 whole days is ridiculous!! I was advised really late Friday night, that Saturday morning someone would be picking it up, the app then said 1:30pm, which was still fine. It then went back to looking for someone. Today, I spoke to manager *** or shes in the escalation department, she pinned my trip to the top for someone again today at 1:30pm. As we can see, I still have no car. Please help!!Business Response

On September 28, 2024 my vehicle was experiencing issues that led to the need for a tow. Being a AAA customer for more that 10 years, naturally I pulled out my phone and opened the application to request roadside services. Everything was as smooth as butter, they really do know how to get your vehicle where ever you need it to go! The issues began after the transfer of the vehicle into the care of the tow company. The driver arrived approximately an hour and ******************************************************************** my opinion, and being that AAA is a trusted name nationwide, I didn't think my possessions inside the vehicle where going to go missing. Upon the delivery of my vehicle to my home, I immediately went to find my Airpods, which I know was in the front passenger seat. They where no where to be found. I tried to locate them using my Find My application and the location was marked as "UNKOWN", meaning the device had already been reset before I had a chance to mark them as "LOST"When I reached out to the customer service department with **********************, i was mocked and ridiculed. This is not something I expect from a company with such a long time in business. If i could give a rating, it would be -10 stars! Needless to say, I will not be renewing my membership going forward, and I will go out of my way to tell everyone my experience with the company so they too will not subscribe/renew.Business Response

I have been a customer/client of ********************** since 1990. I moved from ********** to ******* August ************************************************************************************* management was completely different. I used the company to cover my new house (HOM *********) and car (AUT70042741). I made a claim for house repairs on November 2023 and this was used to hike my house policy premium from $1,600 to ********. After experiencing several weeks of AAA stonewalling my efforts to find out the reason for this dramatic increase and removing myself from the companys AUTOPAY plan, I decided to end or cancel coverage to both home and car. I was allowed to cancel the automobile policy on September 30 but told I could not cancel the home policy until I first paid the company at least $1,047 and then call sometime in September 2024 to cancel this home policy.I was deliberately manipulated to prolong my stay with the company so it could charged $1,047.16 for the period August 10 thru August 30. When I signed up for autopay I was told I could cancel this method of payment ANYTIME. Yet, I was not allowed to cancel the autopay method nor cancel the home policy until I paid $1,047.16.Business Response

On Friday August 9th call AAA for a tow to 5548 Old National highway **********. They dropped my car off to two different wrong locations on the same day . My mechanic closed while waiting on them to deliver my car. I didnt know where my car was located till Saturday morning which was 2 buildings down from the 5548 location. The driver put my key into a drop box at a different location that wouldnt open till Monday the 12th. They can only compensate me with $40 off on my next reinstatement next year. Thats bad business. That left me paying for a ride for both of my jobs to two days.Business Response

Triple A plus member for years. Car broke down in parking lot of a business in a very unsafe neighborhood. Called them several times for towing July 20th. Said they would towing in 20 min. Lied and denied towing with excuses. Business will towing off my car or my car will be vandalized. I'm stuck and not getting the service I paid for. If my car is vandalized it will be their fault. I continue to receive offers for Insurance - an extroridinary amount of wasted paper - I have called twice, I have have changed all settings to ensure I receive NOTHING in mail. I stated I would cancel my membership if I continued to receive the unasked for and clearly requested NOT to receive the offers. I also paid for the service not to receive offers in the mail for credit, insurance, etc., yet this continues to be mailed. I went in to my account to try and cancel, and could only stop an automatic renewal. I wish to cancel and receive whatever refund I am due. I have not use the service, and they can rest assured, I will never use it in the future. It's easier I would think, to contact the President of the United States than to contact them. I am over it, done, tired of it, angry, and can't believe they are still in business.Business Response

Please allow up to 6 weeks for all marketing and solicitations to stop. We have also processed ********'s request to cancel her AAA membership. Please note that memberships cannot be canceled mid-term. ********'s membership will be canceled on the expiration date,12/15/2024. There will be no refunds for her membership as services are provided until the expiration date. On 5/20/24 (exp 4/30) my husband *** renewed our AAA membership, I am the primary he is secondary. On 6/18 *** had a flat tire on I-285 and called AAA he went through the automated system, it said it had recognized the number and his then spoke to a operator. He asked if she needed his member # or anything and was told she had it. He just needed to have his card for the driver. She texted him a link to click for his location. Las year he had to call for and went through the same process all was fine so he thought all was fine. After over an hour of sitting on the side of the freeway with cars buzzing by at 80 mph+ 2' away the driver called. He wanted to speak to *******. *** identified himself and said I am ********'s husband she is in ********. The driver told him he could not come out if I was not there as the call was put in my name. He explained that he had placed the call and had his membership card could the driver just call back and straighten out, He said no that *** would have to call and set up another call in his name, and he had to get other calls. I called from work and after 30 mins of sitting on the phone I got a supervisor who said *** was on the account and should never had been told that. However, by that time he had already found someone to come help him.On 6/24 *** called in and after talking to 3 people and sitting on hold 30 minutes he got a supervisor that said she could file a complaint but since I was primary I would have to call to cancel the membership. Today 6/28 is the first day I have been off work where I could call and sit on hold. When I told them I wanted to cancel and get a refund I was told that because it had been over 30 days since it was renewed they could not cancel it.Business Response
