      I have been a aaa member for 3 years and didnt need the service till today. I called to get a tire changed, but they told me my membership had expired. I said but I had my account set to auto renew, that the expiration should not be the case. They investigated, or so the representative said, and they then said they had sent me something in regular mail ( why would they send me mail with auto renewal?) that had been returned undelivered. My mail address is up to date and quite in service - and this could easily be a postal mistake ( post office really ***** too by the way). And they have my phone number and could easily call me to inquire about address and renew my membership. But NO, they say their policy is just to cancel peoples membership when they get returned mail!! And they said I could renew and pay extra $60 to get service today. I told them to cancel the whole thing. What kind of business operates this way? Just cancel people because the post office makes a mistake!!! And dont let them know to boot!!! You find out when you have a flat or basically you find out you dont have it at the time you need it. A terrible way to treat people!!

      This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I purchased AAA this morning around 8AM. I proceeded to place a request for roadside to simply have my car battery jump started. I was unable to place the request online, so I called and was then informed that in order to utilize the membership, I would need to pay an additional fee of $60. Which was quite surprising as on the website before I purchased, it says you can use the services immediately after signing up. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! I reluctantly paid the fee and fast forward to now..It is now almost 1PM. I have received no updates via phone call, text message or email. I have called AAA multiple times and have waited on hold only to be disconnected multiple times with no call back from a representative. The last phone call I made was to cancel the work order placed, I asked for a refund, the representative stated he would refund my $60. I asked to also cancel the membership all together, he stated he was transferring my call and once again I was disconnected. I have searched high and low for an email to contact AAA directly and the stupid website continuously prompts me to enter my zip code and I am then rerouted. I will never do business with AAA again and I will be telling all of my friends, family and colleagues to do themselves a favor and cancel their membership!!!

      I can't believe AAA is still in business... Their towing ***** overall. I've had two bad experiences in a row with the first being a 6 hour wait with a no show in result, & 1 day in a half and counting this current time... I will be calling for a refund of my membership asap

      It took 3 days for us to receive service. No updates were provided. We kept having to call AAA for updates. It was horrible. It caused us to b sit and wait around the house because we didnt know when AAA would show up. It interfered with us celebrating our anniversary and work. When I spoke to customer service most of them were nice but still nothing happened. After waiting about 7 minutes on the phone one of the customer service representatives hung up on us and did not call us back. We had to call back into to AAA. When we finally got service it was at 1:20AM in the early hours of the morning. We stayed up until 3AM because we knew this was the best chance to have the car towed. The tow truck driver was nice and professional, but it doesnt change the fact that we were dealing with them at 2:20am in the morning for their arrival ******* was an extremely horrible experience! It tops my worst customer service experience of all times

      My membership expires 10-01-24. The payment is due Sept. 2024. AAA submitted a payment request from my bank on 08-30-24. When I called to advise why they initiated payment in August they advised they don't want people to lapse in coverage. I didn't authorize an automatic payment from my checking account. They took the info from my last years payment. That is unacceptable. They are taking control of my funds from me to pay when I choose to pay.

      On July 31, 2024 I had a flat tire in **********. I called and electronically reported my issue at 5:15PM. I received an immediate response back by text saying I would receive an update "shortly". At 7PM I tried to follow up and received a message that they were trying to find someone to respond. I then called someone else and had my issue resolved. At 8:45 I received a phone call from AAA and asked if they still wanted a dispatch. I answered no. I will not be renewing my membership.

      I worked for them and havent gotten my last check. I have been getting the run around for the last two pay periods. Im totally shocked that such a big company would have such low morals.

      I live in Southeast *******. My AAA membership is through ********* South. I feel it's important to let others know not to waste their money. AAA is not what it used to be. I waited 23 hours for battery service before finally cancelling the order today. Fortunately, I was at home and not stranded on the side of the road, but even for a non-priority call, a 23-hour wait is far beyond what a paying customer can reasonably expect. Here is how they strung me along: I called after three hours of waiting, had trouble getting through to a human being, and when I did, they told me the call had not even been assigned to anyone. They reissued the order, but they still didn't assign it to anyone. I called again at the 5 and 1/2 hour ***** and again got someone who said they would act on it. Around the seven-hour ***** I did get a call from someone telling me that the battery service had closed for the day, and that it would be tomorrow before they could send someone. The woman assured me that she would set it up for 8 AM the next morning. At 8 AM this morning, I finally got an update on the app saying they should arrive at 8:53 AM. By 9: 45, I was a bit concerned after the fiasco of yesterday. I called yet again, and they told me that they should be there within the next hour. At this point, we were at the 21-hour ***** At the 23-hour ***** a neighbor finally returned home from vacation and was able to give me a jump start. My AAA membership was utterly useless when I needed it. The moral of this story is not to waste your money with AAA. They have systemic problems and more members than they can service. Additionally, the last time I called the local tow truck driver that I normally use, he told me that he won't deal with AAA anymore because they take too long to pay him. The company has major problems, and they don't seem interested in resolving them.

      I'd rate AAA a ZERO if I could! After 30+ years of paying I had a flat tire. After 5 hours sitting in my car, they still hadn't arrive. I called a local towing service and they responded within 30 minutes and was on my way! I will be cancelling my membership and ask for reimbursement of 30 years of paying for this lousy service!

      What a joke AAA has become. Wife called them for a jump, when no one showed up for over an hour she finally received a call from the tow operator saying it would be at least another 5 hours before he would be able to get to her. I called AAA to escalate. They say once the contract is picked up there is nothing they can do. I asked to speak with a supervisor, was transferred to a non-working #. I called back in and once they learned I was not on the policy they would no longer speak to me. I was the one that ordered the plan for my wife and daughter. I will be cancelling as soon as I can. Again what a joke they have become. I live in a major metro area and they don't have any other drivers available?!!!
